Imagine #76: ForeverMore (Part 7)

You can't believe that Patrick has been around you again for one month.

You are still reluctant to be alone with him or to talk to him, but you can see him making every effort to stay close to you again. You honestly appreciate that, but you're still afraid that the things in the past might happen once again.

You and Patrick had been seeing each other for rehearsals you're just lucky that Brendon's with you the whole time, but in Patrick's perspective, he hated it when you're with him. The jealousy is killing him. This day will be the first day that Brendon wouldn't be with you and you are really hesitant to go to Patrick, but you know to yourself you can't back down now. You just went straight to his recording studio and when the elevator opened, he greeted you immediately with a smile.

"Hey." He said. His smile is genuine today, maybe because he can now have you alone.

"Hi." You greeted with a smile too.

The both of you began to rehearse and talk normally to each other again. You can see Patrick being a bit cheerful for today and he's just talking and talking and you're catching yourself laughing at him. You still clearly love the guy, maybe another chance wouldn't really kill you, it's obvious he wanted you back too.

"You're still as stubborn as ever." You murmured. You're just sitting in front of a grand piano while he's sitting on a chair holding his guitar.

"I missed you, {Y/N} really. A day wouldn't pass without me thinking of you." He suddenly said. You looked at him and regret was all over his face.

"Then why did you leave me?" you asked, he was about to answer, but you decided to change your question. "No, scratch that. Why did you have to promise that you wouldn't leave me if you know to yourself that you will? I waited for you on that hill Patrick, I thought we're in this together, but you left without even saying a word." You said. You do not intend to cry, but it's too late now.

Patrick didn't answer, he didn't know the answer. He just stared at you and saw the pain in your eyes and that hurt him too. He let his guitar down and walked to you then hug you. He expected that you will push him away but in shock, you hug him back lovingly.

"{Y/N}, I'm so so sorry that I left you. I've always regretted that decision, cupcake. Please, please forgive me." He said and you knew that he's crying too.

You are just hugging him and you began to nod. Everyone deserves a second chance and you're now willing to give Patrick that.

"W-Where's Allie?" you pushed yourself to ask.

"I left Allie, but we never got back together. Yes, I was with her but my heart stayed with you." He said while holding your cheeks. You smiled at Patrick and he smiled back at you too.

Before you know it the both of you are already kissing. You missed that feeling and you missed him dearly, you're just happy that everything worked out between the both of you again.

And you just hoped that everything will go better to best for the both of you from now on.

"I'm...I'm happy for you {Y/N}," Brendon said the moment he got back to the university after his one-week vacation. You can see that he's both sad and happy and you really feel guilty about him being sad.

"I'm so sorry Brends." You told him and he smiled cutely at you.

"No need to be! We're still best friends, right?! That's enough for me!" he said and you appreciate him for being like that.

"Well, I should g. you're still not going in rehearsal today, right?"

"Nope, I'm still tired. You go on ahead and enjoy with him." He said and you left.

You just drove towards his studio, excited to see him again. You and Patrick have been okay for a week now and you just hope that it continued. But suddenly all that hope was crushed the moment the elevator opened to his recording studio.

Allie was there and Patrick and she are kissing. Patrick wasn't even doing anything, he's even kissing her back.

Everything around you began to slow down and tears immediately form in your eyes. It happened again, he hurt you again. Patrick saw you and he pushed Allie away.

"Why?!" you asked with a gritted teeth.

"It's not what it looks like. She just came in and...and... -

"And you didn't stop her to kiss you?! Patrick how could you!" you shouted. He began to walk over you hold you, but you pushed him away.

"I told you, Patrick, you shouldn't have stayed here with that girl again," Allie spoke, but you didn't pay her any attention.

"I hate you!! I never want to see you again!" you run to the stairs, but Patrick followed you and he's continuously calling your name.

You're not looking back at him, but suddenly he got hold of your arm, you have no choice but to face him.

"{Y/N}, I told you. I didn't mean that, I will never ever do that to you!"

"Enough is enough Patrick. Things are really not going well between the two of us. It's much better if we just give it up." You said bitterly. You never wanted to say this, you never want to give this up.

"No, please. I know you love me and I love you too, please {Y/N}," he pleaded.

"P-please let go of me, Patrick." You said.

"Choose, right here right now. Me? Or that Brendon guy?!" He suddenly asked you.

You know you are in no good situation to decide right now, but your frustrated side gets the hold of you.

"Brendon." You whispered as tears rolled down from your eyes.

You looked at Patrick and he looked like he just got shot, he's holding himself not to break down.

"I wish...I wish...you just killed me rather than hearing your answer." He said, and with that you knew that things between you may never be okay again.
