Imagine #63: Yule Shoot Your Eye Out (End)

"Patrick! Patrick listen to me!" Pete is still following Patrick. Of course, he is his best friend and he knows where would Patrick go when he's frustrated.

"Not now Pete!" Patrick shouted back. He stopped his tracks and faced his best friend. "I can't believe that you sided with her. You knew all about this and didn't even bother to tell me!" He said.

"I'm not siding with anyone 'trick! I did it because you wanted her back and she wanted you and it seems like fate had decided that this is the only way!" Pete said. Patrick brushed his hand through his hair.

"To lie? That's the only way?! I fucking looked like an idiot for believing that Pete!"

"Really Patrick? And what do you think {Y/N} looked like when you cheated on her...TWICE?! Yes, what she did was wrong but what you did to her is still way worse." Patrick was slapped with Pete's words.

Patrick realized everything after what Pete said.

"You're lucky she let you do these efforts, she can easily leave you the moment you approached her. Please, you want her and she wants you, just make it easy for you the two of you." Pet kept on saying and Patrick was slapped hard on the face with his words.

Of course, he's just shocked from everything and became this frustrated and he never wanted to let you go again.

"I-I'm stupid. I'm sorry, you're right I just became an even more jerk to her." You said accepting your defeat.

"It's now or never Patttcakes, just grab her already and never let go." Pete said as he gave you a bro hug.

"Will you help me with my plan?" Patrick said excitedly.

"I'll do anything to get you both back together" Pete excitedly answered.

"I'll never let go of her this time. It's time to let go of the past." Patrick said with a smile.

Hre wouldn't let this opportunity go.

"Pete, I just don't know anymore. I'm really thinking that the both of us are really not for each other." You said sadly as you play the ice cream in frobt of you. Not even that can cheer you up.

"Oh come on {Y/N}, don't say that. Patrick loves you so much."

'Didn't you see his reaction last night? He hates me, that unfair jerk!" You ranted.

"Hey calm down with your ice cream. It didn't do anything bad to you." Pete was trying to cheer you up and you really appreciate the effort, you just can't seem to be fully happy now. You really feel incomplete without Patrick.

"I think I'll just go Pete, I'm not feeling fine too." You said and you saw Pete weirdly smirked.

"You take care {Y/N}. Just call me if you need someone to talk to." He said and you smiled at him. "Merry Christmas."

You just drove away from the place and you honestly don't want to go home, because of you do, you'll just cry yourself to sleep. You drove around the area for a while and decided to spend some time in the park.

You hated it, it was christmas eve today and everyone seems to be happy, while you on the other hands looks so sad. You're just keeping your mind close because you don't want to break down in a public place. You chose this place to stay in for a while because this place is important to you and for Patrick.

"I'm torturing myself." You murmured then sighed. You stood up from the bench you are sitting on and suddenly all the lights in the park light up.

It was honestly beautiful, you just stood there and looked around you for a while. Other people were amazed of how beautiful the place is.

Suddenly you heard the start tune of 'Jingle Bells' and you realized that it wasn't really the christmas song, it 'Yule Shoot Your Eye Out'. Probably the band is having a mini concert here. You began to walk away, not wanting to hear Patrick's voice but you were shock because he suddenly came out of nowhere, holding a guitar while looking at you.

"These are your good years

I know I can be a good guy anyway
And I'm of good cheer
Cause I've been checking my list

All I this year for you to dedicate your life to me and I'll do the same for you" he was singing the tune of 'Yule Shoot Your Eye Out' but changed many lyrics and it meant a really different thing now. He was smiling at you, guilt was all over his face, your crying too.

"Please come home this christmas
Your the first thing I want to see
Underneath the tree
Merry christmas, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH." He ended the song.

Other people are around you too but you didn't mind. Patrick walked to you, there are tears in his eyes too.

"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have got angry with you. What a did a year ago was way worse and I'm an unfair jerk." He whispered im front of you, he was sincere in eye words.

"You got that right Stump!" You murmured.

"I'm really sorry but please don't leave me again, I can't really live without you. I won't do anything stupid again {Y/N}, I Promise!' He said and he looked like a child, you smiled at him and held his cheek. "I'm letting go of everything now, the past, my pride, and everything! Except you, I can't really let go of you...I will go crazy."

"I fucking love you and I'd do everything fo us to be back together and now you're the one who's insisting that we should be together again, who am I to say no?" You said and he suddenly hugged you.

The people around you cheered and christmas songs began to play around.

"{Y/N}, I promise you, NO MORE SECRETS NO MORE LIES." Patrick murmured and he pulled you in for a kiss.

"Indeed, no more secrets, no more lies Patrick." You said.

You both felt like this was an ending scene in a love story book but you knew that for the both of you, this is only the beginning of another chapter in your life.
