Imagine #149: We Are Wild (Part 4)

Patrick really can't hide his excitement, he has been talking non-stop about the things he wants to do when you get there.

You were called on a medical mission and had to leave Chicago for a while and Patrick volunteered to be your assistant and now you are on your way to some country to hold the event in a rural area. Since Patrick really wanted to experience this kind of thing, you took him with you and besides, you don't want to leave your boyfriend behind.

After several hours of travelling, you finally arrived at the area and started to do your work. Well, for you this isn't really work, this is just you helping those people. You are a very nice and funny person that's why a lot of your patient really loves you and you always bring them smiles to their faces. Patrick was beside you all the time and he's so hype about what's happening too. He welcomes everyone with a huge innocent smile and he really brightens up the mood of everyone. After the clinic hours, the kids around the area began to play with us and Patrick and you are really having the time of your lives there.

"Helping people is really one of the best feeling you could get." Patrick suddenly murmured when you both are leading the children to their parents again.

"All the work is worth it. Thanks for being here with me." You said sweetly to them. The kids left your side and they waved you a goodbye. You and Patrick started to walk back to your camp site.

The sun is about to go down and everything is perfect around you. Patrick held your hand as you walk. Things between you and him are really getting better.

"Hey look, that's a great spot to watch the sunset." Patrick pointed at a huge tree.

You both walked to it and climb it with no difficulty. You and he sat on a strong branch as you watch the sunset together. You leaned on his chest and he hugs you lovingly.

"Going back to Chicago is the greatest decision I did in a long time. Maybe finding that guy is not the only reason why my feet brought me back there, maybe it's really destiny pushing me to go back so I can meet you." you said sweetly. Patrick smiled at you then he kissed your forehead.

"I couldn't agree more to that. Don't worry, I'll be always right here for you {Y/N}." Patrick said sincerely.

Silence emerge between you and him as you continue to watch the sunset. Suddenly, you began to sing a song you became addicted to last couple of days.

" We are....wild, We are like young volcanoes." You sang softly and Patrick looked at you in shock. "What?" you asked him while giggling. "Is my voice that bad?"

"No." Patrick smirked and you really find that smile so hot.

"That song has something to do with you, isn't it?" you asked him suspiciously and he cutely laughed at you. "I'm really feeling stupid for still not knowing who you are, Patrick." You added. Patrick hugged you more as he chuckled.

"That's what makes me love you more. It just mean that you're not in love with me because of my famous side. Don't worry, once we get back to Chicago, I'll tell you everything and I'll introduce you to my best friend." He assured you.

"Sounds good to me." You said excitedly.

When the sun is set you and he walked back to the campsite and stayed there for the night, you and he shares a single tent and you cuddled with each other all night there. Everything feels so perfect right now, but you suddenly asked yourself what you should do when you meet that guy from the past.

After three days of doing a medical mission with you, Patrick went straight home to his mom and shared your every memory there. His mom really find you attractive and you're happy to know that, you just didn't have the time to go with him this time because you were so tired.

"I'm glad you enjoyed your time there, Patrick." His mom said to him.

"I just wish she'll find that guy who she's searching for. I mean, I really see that it bothers her still not finding that person." He said.

"That's right. Oh, dear, I remember some other information about that girl I'm talking about. I remember that she loves the pancakes I make, she says it's her favourite food. You were annoyed every time she visits here, but when you both started to eat, you're just laughing with her. I really find you both cute and I was really thinking that you'll be friends till now, but I remembered she got into an accident and had to move away." His mom said and Patrick just looked at her. Patrick's mind is racing, could it be really you?

"What accident, mom?" he asked.

"I think it was a house fire, but I'm really not sure." She answered and that made Patrick up his seat.

"Sometimes a certain smell brings her back to when she was young{Stressed Out reference :3}...why not taste too?" Patrick murmured to himself. "Mom, can you make me pancake, please? Like the way you cook them back then." He added and her mom just nodded and went to the kitchen to start cooking.

After an hour the pancake was ready and Patrick put them all in a container with a huge smile. Her mom wished him luck.

"I really wish she's that girl, I'll really believe in destiny if she's the girl." Her mom joked.

"I hope too, mom. Thank you," he said before leaving.

Patrick drove to your apartment, but he decided not to bother you so he just left the pancake there with a note:

Hey, princess. Taste this and tell me what you think about it. Call me or Text me, okay? I love you :* much love from your prince.

You: Patrick!! The pancakes!! Are they made of rainbows and pixie dust? The taste is so familiar to me, oh my glob! Where did you get this?!

Finally, Patrick's phone vibrated and a huge smile crept on his face when he read the message. It's official, you're really that girl.

Patrick: Glad to know, princess. I'm going to tell you a very huge news when we meet, but for now I have to fetch my best friend at the airport. See you later?

Me: Can't wait for the news and to meet your best friend. See you later, my prince. Now excuse me while I nom this perfect pancake in front of me.

She replied with a picture of her holding a pancake to her mouth. Patrick chuckled when he saw the picture, he couldn't believe that destiny is a real thing.
