Imagine #132: My Amnesia Boy (Part 6)

Imagine #132: My Amnesia Boy (Part 6)

Patrick was shocked and relieved at the same time when he found out that you are Patricia's mother. He was expecting that it was really you because the kid looks so much like you. Patrick is happy that he saw you again, he'd been searching for you for a while now. He wanted to ask you so many questions on the spot, he wanted to kneel and say sorry for not stopping you leave that day, but Patrick never had the courage.

"{Y/N}, c-can you two join me for dinner?" is all that he could say to them. He gave a small smile, looking at Patricia. The little girl smiled brightly at him, the girl really became close to him in just a day.

"We really can't," you said, but then Patricia looked at you with pleading eyes.

Of course, she wants to be with Patrick more. She can probably feel the father feelings for him and you have no right to keep her away from him. You remembered that you already lied to her about the identity of his father, you can't go make more damage more than that. You sighed at smiled at her. "Okay, fine. But I think we should just invite you over to our house.

Patricia nodded happily at Patrick. Patrick suddenly became nervous.

'What if you already have a husband?'

'What if Patrick remembered things now?'

Those were some of the questions that go through his mind while walking towards your car. He just sighed and pushed them all away. Patrick and Patricia sat at the back seat while you drive and they are talking about simple and happy things. You are seeing them through the mirror and you can't stop yourself to feel some goddamn feels. This is what you ever wanted, to have a family like this where you're the mom, Patrick is the dad and you have a little human with you. It's really the same thing now, but it's a lot more complicated than ever.

You pulled over at the driveway and you all walked inside the house.

"Wait up, okay? I'll just help Trisha to change her clothes." You said to Patrick.

"Sure thing." He replied. You and your daughter went straight to the bedroom.

Patrick was left in the living room, he was curious where your husband could be or do you ever have a husband. He roamed in the living room, trying to find some pictures of him or something, but there were none. All the pictures are only you and your daughter...no dad at all. Patrick was about to sit down, but something caught his attention; it was a framed picture of you and him. Patrick reached for it and stared at it for a while, not noticing a small smile is forming in his face.

***************

"Mommy, do you know Mister Patrick?" your daughter asked innocently while changing his clothes.

"Y-yeah. He was an...an old friend of mommy, sweetie." You answered her with a smile.

"I like him. He's funny and caring...I wish my dad is just like him." Patricia said and that made you stop your movement.

You don't really know how to tell her or him about all this. This thought have been killing you for months now. You're confused and frustrated, you just feel helpless.

"He is...sweetie." You said to your daughter and she smiled.

You both walked out of the room and you immediately saw Patrick standing in the living room, holding a too much familiar picture frame for you. You saw Patrick smiling while staring at it...is he already remembering or feeling his love for you again?

Patricia runs to him and he welcomed him with a smile. Patrick lifted her up and they played there like a father and daughter would. Tears started to roll down from your eyes, you wish this will never end...you wish this is all that could have happened, but then again later on, everything will return back to normal.

"Hey, you guys. I'll just prepare dinner okay? You both have fun." You said and proceeded to the kitchen.

*******************

"Hey." You suddenly heard Patrick said as he entered the kitchen. Fortunately, you're done cooking and the food in already on the table.

"Good timing, let's eat. Where's Trisha?" you asked him. Patrick smiled cutely.

"She fell asleep. The girl is so energetic, she probably need to recharge. Should I wake her up?" he asked. You both laughed lowly.

"Let her be, I'll just wake her up later. She needs to recharge, as you said." You said and you both sat in front of each other.

The night went on and the both of you have just been talking about casual things like you've never gone for three or more years. You honestly loved the conversation, but you know Patrick is holding back a lot of question for you. When you finished eating, you still remained there in the dining area talking to Patrick, then all of a sudden, silence emerged.

"Um...w-where is Patricia's dad?" Patrick broke the silence and he almost broke you too. This is the question you never have the answer for...yet.

"He left us. Please, I don't want to talk about it," You lied. Patrick knew you were lying, he feels it and somehow he's too familiar with you now, but he decided not to push you to speak again. "How are you and Sam? It's been almost four years, aren't you too getting married yet?" you said and it feels like you're drinking a poison. You never imagined saying that to Patrick.

Patrick suddenly upped his seat and he walked next to you and sat there. Patrick's hands are cold and shaking, but he still hold your hand.

"I'm confused...so confused. I feel like something is missing and I don't fucking know what it is and I hate it. I feel like...like...what's missing is with you. I'm so stupid for letting you go...I'm so stupid for not stopping...I'm so stupid for forgetting you. For all I know you really don't deserve someone like me...but...but why do I feel like I've been being pulled towards you?" Patrick said.

He lifted your chin and you both locked eyes with each other. Patrick doesn't really know what he's doing, it feels like that the Patrick on those forgotten three years have taken over his body and he's like this to you. Tears silently fell from your eyes.

"God...I'm sorry for making you cry." He said then leaned in.

Patrick kissed you softly. His lips are as sweet and soft as ever. Even if you feel that this isn't right you let it happen. You kissed him back and you both responded to each other with a loving manner. The kissed lasted longer than you expected it and you were the one who broke it.

"This isn't right. You have Sam already. I already gave way for the two of you. Just make it easy for me Patrick. Let's just say things never happened." You said as you stand up and brush your tears away.

You were lying, you wanted this to never end, but why are you pushing him away? Maybe it's just that you don't want to get hurt anymore, maybe it's just that you really had enough. You can never be sure if Patrick really fell in love with you again. He can't even still remember you, and besides you don't want to be the hindrance to him and Sam.

"It's getting late, Patrick. You should go now." You said and started to walk, but Patrick caught you. He gently pinned you to the wall and you're shocked and can't push him away.

"I'll make things right, {Y/N}. Just please let me do that." He murmured as he looked through your eyes.

"If you go home to Sam, you'll be doing the right thing." You said with a small smile and guided him out of the house. Patrick was disappointed but you can still feel that he is determined.

"Can I just say bye to Patricia?" he said as he looked at the girl sleeping on the couch. You nodded at him and he knelt in front of your daughter and whispered something to her as he brush her hair. After a few minutes, Patrick stood up and walked to you at the front door. "Thank you, {Y/N}," he said.

"Bye, Patrick." You said and closed the door.

You leaned on the door and started to cry silently. Just asking yourself...'how the hell a perfect love story lead into this fucking mess?'

{Thank you for reading :) I'm honestly thinking of making separate books for my mini-fanfic :) But I guess I'll do that soon, I honestly have so many plot in my mind! :D But I don't have the power to right them all at the same time...So from now on I think I'll do my best to keep these imagines as simple as they can be and save the one with complex plots for the separate books. What do you guys think? ^_^

And Hey! Don't forget to check out Band Prince...I may not always be updating that, but it's worth to read? I think? :) Thanks!!}
