Imagine #128: My Amnesia Boy (Part 4)

*Three years later*

Patrick has been with Sam for the last three years yet he doesn't know why he can't propose to her. He can't even push himself to buy a new engagement ring for her. He just always caught himself holding onto the engagement you gave back to him.

There were times he remembered you, asking where you are or how you have been, but he had no contact to you. His memory of you never came back, but nowadays he wish it could go back. He honestly felt that something is missing right now.

The doorbell suddenly rang and Patrick slip the ring on his finger and run for the door. It was the mailman.

"Package for {your full name} from Mr. Patrick Stump." He said and immediately, Patrick became confused.

Patrick received the package and his curiosity got the hold of him and he opened the small package. He doesn't remember sending you anything and why is it addressed at his house. He opened it and there's a USB inside it.

Patrick run to his room and opened his laptop, inserting the USB there. There's only one file inside the USB and it's a video file.

"Happy Third Anniversary." Patrick read the title. He played the video, maybe he did this video for you in advance.

The video started and the background music is 'What A Catch, Donnie'. Pictures of You and Patrick was shown and Patrick caught himself smiling while watching. He never felt anything like this before.

"Hi, princess." Patrick was talking on the video like doing a vlog or something. "I really hope you got this on the third anniversary of our wedding. I did this in advance because I know we'll make it this far and I know we will go further! I made this simple video for you and I hope you enjoy! I love you." He added.

Patrick was mesmerized, he can now feel how he loved you back then. The video continued and it's  a short clip of your happy moments. From simple moments in the house like watching a movie, baking something and enjoying the rain to your happy vacations everywhere. Patrick is amazed with your smile in the clip and the background music of 'What a Catch, Donnie' gets his feels.

"I will marry you!" You shouted in the video. The last clip was the moment he proposed to you.

"God, I love you so much {Y/N}," Patrick in the video said and ge slip the ring on your finger.

You and he shared a kissed in the video.

'I got troubled thoughts and
A self-esteem to match,
What a Catch...'

"What a catch indeed." Patrick murmured as the video ended.

A tear fell from his eyes. He doesn't know what to feel, his emotions are all mixed up right now. Everything in the video felt so familiar, but it doesn't trigger his memories if you. He almost wanted to bang his head against a wall. He wants to remember you now, he's so confused and frustrated. But somehow, one thing is for sure...he's making a mistake for the last three years.
