It was your 1st year anniversary with your very much loving husband, Patrick. He didn't seem to greet you yet. He just woke up and went down stairs not even noticing that you were already awake. You gotta admit, you did kinda felt anger, sadness, and worry. So you then followed him downstairs after a few minutes. After each step, you can smell something really amazing, like it was your one of your favorite breakfasts... Pancakes!

"Morning sweety!" You said trying to stop the awkward silence between you two. Unfortunately, he didn't answer back which made you more disappointed.

You decided to just sit on the kitchen stool while you wait for him to finish cooking... You gotta admit, your husband's pancakes are the best, though the thought of him not remembering your anniversary was kind of disappointing... After a few minutes, he sat in front of you and gave you a plate with pancakes and with a quote made out of whip cream saying "Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary! I love you! :)"...

You suddenly felt a tear drop from your eye, then you faced him and leaned forward then kissed him gently. "I love you too sweety! Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary!" You said and hugged him, he hugged you back, then gave you a cup of coffee with a stick note on it saying "Wanna go out of town?" You immediately looked at him and said "YES! Of course sweety! That would be amazing! Soo, where we headin'?"...

"I was thinking... Maybe in New York? Cause it's like melting hot here, especially with my beautiful wife standing by my side-" You cut him off and said "I know right! Just kidding! It gets hotter when you're around!" You answered with a wink, which made the two of you laugh.

"Nahh.. Seriously, we're like gonna melt in here and it's like freezing cold in New York right now. Like it's 20 below!" He said and kind of sang the last part in the tune of All Time Low's song 'That Girl'.. It made you chuckle and you just nodded your head in agreement.

"So, let's go? Our flight's today..." He asked and you just immediately fixed yourself instead. "Guess I'll take that as a 'yes' haha" You heard him say and you just answered "Sure it is! Now get dressed!"...

"Yes ma'am!" He shouted which made you smirk..

(Time lapse: already in the plane heading New York)

After a few more minutes, you already arrived New York and went down the plane together. Your husband was right, it actually was really cold and it felt amazing. You finally felt chilled, but you then noticed your husband feeling cold and already shivering. You looked at him in 'awh' and placed a scarf over him and said "You forgot to put on your scarf, silly.." You said and pecked his lips.

"Awww... Thanks princess! Now c'mere.. You look like your freezing cold too haha!" He said while opening up his arms for you to hug him. You went to him and felt his warm and loving embrace, you two with smiles on your faces.

"Sooo, shall we go my princess?"... "Let's do this!" Both of you went along and enjoyed the chilling weather and the beautiful sights of New York together...
