"The kids are escaping! Get them!" I heard one of the tactical men yell.

Three guys ran after my kids as they turned the corner, out of my sight.

With Beast frozen in place, most likely waiting until the professor constructs him to do something, I was about to take the opportunity to kill off the few dozen of men left.

A large heavy arm, plastered itself against my stomach, stopping me from taking a step.

Beast had his arm out in front of me, and growing lowly through his mouth.

"Beast...watch who you're growling at." I said warning him lowly.

He's gotta be outta his mind to be growling or even showing his canines to me, I of all people should be the last to never.

Roughly taking the chip out in his neck could kill him, so I have to knock him out.

This'll be long.

The clawed fingers on his other arm swung towards my face, resulting in me jumping back with my arms blocking my face.

Damn, that was really close. I looked down at my forearms and saw three very faint bloody claw lines.

Beast has always use the same moves, which makes him so predictable. left Arm, right leg, left leg, right arm, left arm, with each flying hit he threw at me, I dodged it.

I need to hurry up and end this, my kids-

Beast had disappeared from my eye's view and reappeared behind me. His long claws pierced into my back as he tightly held onto my shoulders, keeping me from running away.

Shit! I gushed out blood as Beast's growls grew louder.

He can't teleport, Beast's powers are basic, he has animalistic features and genes. Which gives him super strength, great vision and hearing, and fast reflexes.

None of his abilities give him teleportation.

So that means he's not alone...

There's only one person that I know of that can make other beings or things teleport, and that's Vissi.

How did I not fucking notice him?!

My ears listened for Vissi's heartbeat, since I can't see him I'm sure he's cloaking himself. He maybe invisible but my ears can still pick up a beat from him.

Ignoring the piercing pain on my back, I quickly lunged at Vissi. He has to go first, the longer he's conscious the more likely that this fight won't end.

Plus, fighting an invisible teleporting man is by far a pain in the ass.

One of my hands was gripping on his throat, while the other covered his eye. I held him still as he violently tried to get out of my hold.

His hands pulled on my wrists and fingers, while his feet kicked, unfortunately his efforts made no changes. My hold on him was rooted in, and if he continues to thrash himself, I'll accidentally hurt him.

Pulling peoples limbs off is pretty easy for me. It's like pulling a chicken wing apart.

Next thing you know, there are half opened warping portals showing up every couple of seconds, putting a hole in the space that it took up.

They'd close and reopen repeatedly.

You fool, you should know your powers. You can't teleport without having to see where to go.

Beast was still behind me, no motion came from him. So I took the opportunity and pulled myself away from him.

I immediately switched my hands placements to the side of Vissi's head, and snapped his neck. In a hurry, I pushing him down, putting distance between Beast and I.

From the lack of focus, Vissi's body became visible to everyone's eyes. The Korean man with long black hair flowing down to his shoulders laid unconscious on the ground between Beast and I.

Vissi will be fine, there's no doubt that the Professor had injected the iselentine serum in him.

Beast then was on the move towards me, he got on all fours and charged at me. He's letting his wild side out, alright then, let's rumble.

I charged at him but went a diagonal direction, luring him away from Vissi. I wouldn't want him to get hurt.

My fist flew in the air and connected with Beast's face, with him on all fours his face is at the same level as me, making it easier for me to hit him.

Beast shook his head and backed off a little, before turning back to me and sounding off a belly deep roar. His roar echoed throughout the city, creating more chaos.

Sirens and more sirens increased, I have to finish this fast.

He then prowled to me, keeping his body low and growls low. He resembled a tiger, hunting for its next meal.

I stood my ground, stared him into his eyes, keeping a calm and stern demeanor. If I can't get through his head while he's civilized, then maybe I can reach him through his animalistic ways.

As long as I stand my ground, he'll back away and maybe even submit.

Beast halted at my feet, still growling lowly. My heart raced as I anxiously waited for what he'll do next. Can Beast's beast side be affected by the chip? If it is, I'll be wounded bad.

He's so close to me, I can feel his hot breathe on me.

A short humph came from Beast before he sat down and bowed his head down.

I shakily released a breathe of relief as Beast calmed down and showed submission to me. A short series of chuckles escaped my mouth as I scratched his head.

"That was close, do me a favor and stay as a beast. You're not your usual self when your human mindset is in control." I said smiling at the bothered Beast.

He hated when I spoke to him in a baby's voice. His animal side is quite meaner than his human side.

"Ok, guard Vissi's body and kill the rest of these men. I'll be back." I ordered him before running off to the direction my kids left in.

One thing I know about Zain is that he's good at hiding. Hiding is practically his power, he could hide in plain sight and you won't find him.

I'm the best tracker in the family but I don't think I can claim that title anymore. Zain's hiding skills had me looking for him for hours. Without my hearing, Zain was actually the first person to beat me in hide and seek.

I know Zain is hiding somewhere, it'll take those men forever to find my babies. In order for me to find them, I just have to listen for their heartbeats.

My babies's heartbeats were coming from the same alleyway that we met, but unfortunately they weren't alone.

I also heard the heartbeats of the other men. Damn, they've found them.
