Three Out Of Six
My hands anxiously shook as I brought the kitchen knife near Vissi's neck. This is the first time I've ever been so nervous to cut someone.
I have to be very delicate when making the incision on the back of Vissi's neck. The moment that the chip detects any improper removal will lead to it self destructing, killing Vissi in the process.
I heard Beast's low growl from beside me as he watched me from the floor, he too was anxious.
After all that went down at the school, I took them back to the house that Carbon took me.
Vissi was laying stomach flat on the dining table with his face hanging off the side of it. He had to be laying down straight for me to try and get the chip out.
He's still out surprisingly but I know he'll be getting up soon, so I have to get this done quickly.
I lightly poked the sharp tip of the knife into Vissi's neck, then I left out a soft breathe before vertically cutting downward.
A small stream of blood trickled out of his warm body as I pulled his skin apart, creating a direct opening to the chip.
I stuck my index and middle finger in his neck and searched for the chip. It wasn't long before I felt the thin bumpy chip at the tip of my index.
Just when I was about to pull it out, Vissi woke up. He made a small movement of his legs, jerking them awake.
"Hold him down." I quickly told Beast.
He was quick to get to my side and held Vissi's arms down.
A groan came from Vissi before he started to violently shake himself. "Let me go! Let me go!" He yelled out.

I closed my eyes and quickly pulled the chip out, shutting him up. The once active Vissi fell limp once again, making me question myself if he's still alive.
Beast had let him go and started to whimper at the motionless Beast.
"I-Is he dead?" I asked Beast.
Beast looked at me, his brows were knitted together, worried about Vissi.
He can't answer me since he lacks the ability to speak whenever his animal is in control. But it's clear that he doesn't know if he's dead or not.
I still hear a heartbeat from Vissi, but when it comes to people like me I could never tell if they're alive or dead.
Many of us have irregular heartbeats and some of our hearts still beats when we die. So it's hard to tell anything when it comes to the people that the Professor has experimented on.
Just when I was about to start panicking, a loud groan came from Vissi. Beast and I watched as he reached to touch the back of his neck, where the wound I made is now healed.
Vissi turned around and sat up on the table, he blink a couple of times before taking in his surroundings.
"W-what happened? Where am I?" He asked Beast after noticing his presence.
He has yet to notice me, "That's rude of you to ignore me." I commented to Vissi with a smile on my face.
There was no denying that even after a couple of days apart from my Unit, I've missed them a ton.
Vissi swung his head towards my direction before jumping off the table, and running towards me with open arms.
"Medu! You're alive!" He exclaimed as he embraced me with a warm hug. I chuckled and hugged him back, "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?"
He pulled away, his arms were still on my shoulders as he looked at me seriously. "We thought you wouldn't make it since you were badly beaten, and I didn't think I teleported you correctly." He said.
I frowned, "Wait what- You sent me somewhere that you've never been to??"
Vissi nervously looked away, giving me a clear sign that he did.
Oh, you idiot! Vissi knows his limits, why would he teleport me somewhere he's never saw nor been to? I could've died in the transition.
"Shade looked into your memories and showed me them, from there I used my powers to teleport you home." He said.
Shade?! When did she get the time to even look into my head? And I've told her not to read my mind on many occasions!
I sighed, letting my short anger pass away. All that matters now is that I'm alive and so are the two before me.
"Whatever, we have to get the chip out of Beast now." I said moving towards Beast.
Beast whimpered and crawled back with each step I took. " It won't hurt, it'll feel like a small needle poking you." I softly said to the big baby.
The wall behind Beast had halted him, and he was now cornered by me. "Let's take this slow and easy." I said to Beast as I put my hand out for him.
Forcing Beast to do something is just gonna stress him out, especially since his mindset is like an animal at the moment.
The only way to have him collaborate is if he chooses to willingly comply. He trusts us, both his human and animal, so he shouldn't feel afraid.
Beast reluctantly placed his hand in mine and slowly stood at his full height, making my head follow as his legs extended.
I guided him towards the table and tapped on it, he gladly laid on it just as how Vissi did.
"Where's my chip?" Vissi asked as he handed me the knife.
I pointed to the end of the table before making a quick incision of Beast's neck. He growled lowly in the small pain he felt.
"Don't worry, I'll be quick." I whispered to him as I pulled his skin apart.
Alright Nunu, get this over with.
I dug my fingers into his neck, earning an even louder growl from Beast. He surprising stayed still and endured the pain.
I found the chip and immediately pulled it out. The small thin chip was between my fingers as I positioned it under one of the bulbs from the chandelier.
A chuckle came from me as I felt a ton of bricks being picked up off my shoulders. "You guys are free." I said, looking at Vissi.
He had crushed pieces of his chip in his hand as he too was smiling widely. He chuckled, "We're free!"

"How do you work this? This device is oddly complicated." I heard Beast question from in the living room.
After taking both of their chips out, I decided to make dinner for them. I know they must be hungry, back in the Division we eat once a day.
"Give it to me, all you're doing is pressing buttons." I then heard Vissi say.

As usual they began fighting, the only downside about having Vissi and Beast together is that they'll fight a lot.
They remind me of my brothers, constantly fighting over little things.
I finished preparing the fools's plates and walked into the living room with them. I placed the plates on the coffee table and patiently waited until they were done.
It was a draw, the smell of their food being directly near their noses halted their actions.
The fighting paused as Beast had Vissi in a headlock, while Vissi had his foot sticking out of a portal behind Beast's back.
"Wow Medu, this looks delicious." Vissi said as he and Beast untangled themselves.
They properly sat on the couch and brought their plates closer to them.
"Careful, it's still hot." I warned them as I watched Beast shamelessly take a bite. The hot steaming food must've done nothing to him, because in an instant he was finishing his plate.
Vissi and I laughed at Beast's eating methods, its obvious he's gonna need another plate.
