"Nothing is happening!" I heard Zain yell out

It's been almost 30 minutes and I haven't experienced any pain. I closed my eye and cleared my mind once again.

The sound of feet moving in front of me pulled me away from my concentration. I saw Zain running towards me, "No! Zain stay over there!" I yelled out.

He shook his head, "No! Whatever you're trying to do isn't happening and I'm bored!" He rebutted.

I remained still and waited for him to approach me, he came forth not to longer after I gave up.

How was I able to turn it on or activate it earlier? It just happened, I don't think there was any triggers.

"Mommy, the sun is setting. We should try again tomorrow." He said as he touched my forearm.

I gasped before crouching down out of breath. I felt it...I felt it! It was faint but I felt it, that shit literally knocked the air out of me.

Zain touched my other arm, pulling me up. "Hey get up, you didn't even do anything for you to be tired." He said.

The moment his other hand touched me, I felt the burning spark again.

It was quick to come and quick to go.

I looked up at Zain and slowly rose up to my height. "Zain, I think I know how to trigger it." I whispered as he dropped his hands off of me.

Zain's eyebrows knitted together in confusion, "How?" He asked.

I grabbed his hand, ready to feel the immense pain that comes with this power, but there was nothing.

What??

"Mommy, what are you doing?" Zain asked.

Before I could answer a portal opened up behind Zain, pulling my attention from Zain.

I saw Ennim walk out, holding Copy up by his arm. He looks twice as worse as he was earlier. Vissi walked out as well before the portal closed.

Letting go of Zain's hands, I rushed to Copy's side, helping Ennim hold him up.

Copy moved his head towards my side, putting his lips near my ears, "P-please d-don't let me die." He whimpered.

My heart broke at his cry, no one wants to die. i remember all that ran through my head when I thought I was dying. There were so many things I had to say to people and I couldn't since my time was up.

I understand how Copy is feeling right now.

I turned to look at Copy, "You-"

"Medu! You're eyes!" Vissi yelled.

Quickly, I closed them and turned away, hoping that I didn't turn anyone into stone.

I internally cried as the silence around me gave away the fact that everyone around is probably dead.

Panicking, I clenched onto Copy, feeling that he was still fleshy. Frowning in confusion, I turned to Copy with my eyes still closed.

A cold hand touched the side of my face, "I didn't see them clearly, but I felt the power they held, Commander." I heard Copy say.

"Open them." He whispered to me.

Is he crazy?! He'll die! "N-no."

How did they even dilate from beneath my pupil? I didn't feel anything. Normally when
they come out, I feel a slight sting in my eye.

Someone touched my shoulder, "Medu, they weren't gray. They were white, a blinding white." I heard Vissi say from beside me.

Huh? How??

"We don't know what it means though. It could still be deadly." I warned them.

New evolutions doesn't always mean good things, it just means you're twice as deadly.

Copy moved his hand from my face, and then I felt him moving away from me. The sound of rustling meant that he was still near me.

I felt him grab my hand, he was lower now, most likely kneeling. I hate that shit, I really do.

"Commander, for that split second of you looking at me, I felt my cells regenerating again. Please....please open your eyes." He pleaded.

I shook my head no, "I can't...you guys know what happens. You could die Copy. I'd loose someone from Division 7 before I could even make an effort to save anyone."

Ennim grunted, pulling Vissi and Copy's attention to her. There was silence as she was communicating to them.

"What is she saying?" I asked, blinded from seeing Ennim's signs.

"She said that you're radiating with energy. She can feel it." Vissi answered.

I can feel it too, whatever is inside me feels immensely strong. Earlier today, when I fell in that trance, that was the only time that I felt the power at it's maximum.

In that dark space, the power felt like a 6th sense to me. Even though I was in pain, there was this feeling as if I already knew what it was.

"You're the next Star."

Star, I'm a Star or am I the Star? A literally Star is in space, and that shit is dangerously destructive. If that voice meant it in that sense then...I'm a walking bomb.

"Open them."

My eyes instinctively opened to the sound of that voice, the voice I heard in that dark space.

I looked down at Copy, our hands were still entangled as I felt a seething stream of my energy flowing into him.

Everything....I could feel everything.

"Let's go!" I heard Vissi yell as the winds picked up around us.

Ignoring him, I concentrated on Copy.

Leaves and debris began to slowly trickle around us, making a tornado like circle around us. Am I doing this??

A slow growing bright light started to blind me once again. This time instead of looking away from it, I stared right into it and I continued to until I saw pass it.

A clear view of Copy absorbing some of my energy was seen on the other side. I saw vein like lines coming from my arms and disappearing into his hand, then I watched as he grew a small light within him!

Smiling down at Copy, I let go of him and closed my eyes. Then a gasp came from him having me open my eyes.

Un-fucking-believable.

Before me was a healthy Copy, his skin was glowing in his natural tanned color, and his eyes held no pain or sadness, just relief.

He chuckled before getting up. He looked down at his hands in amazement. "Commander! You did it!" He exclaimed as he ran around happily.

My eyes followed his every move as I chuckled along with him. I can't believe I did that, wait did I do that???

"The Professor's vision has come to life!" He blurted out, pulling me out of my short glory moment.

I seriously looked at Copy, "What?" I asked as a portal opened from behind me.

The presence of my entire Unit, including my child came from behind me. I paid them no attention as I glared at the bafoon before me.

"Medu, you're-"

I held a hand up, halting Beast's words. "Speak!" I sternly said to the frightened Copy.

His heartbeat sped up as his hands shook by his sides. He cleared his throat before letting out a short shakily breath.

"W-well...the Professor's plan was to bypass his brothers's Divisions by having a subject that can absorb and generate energy. You're his first successful subject." He said.

I scoffed, "So you knew about this and didn't tell us? What else have you not told us?" I asked.

Copy quickly shook his head, "No, I was going to tell you all but I was in a dying state. That information wasn't on my mind earlier." He reasoned.

I heard a small slap from behind me, " I forgot that you're a loyal subject, meaning you'll know information that we don't. That's why you wanted Medu to open her eyes. You knew what she could do." Vissi explained after he facepalmed himself.

Copy nodded and began to nervously play with his fingers.

"There's more...and I'll tell you all everything."
