Dan and Phil headed out to a brightly lit burger place. You can already smell the chips and burgers drifting though the air. It's Decently busy but not packed. Phil gets them a table and they sit down. The environment is relaxed and dan is feeling relaxed too.
"So. Tell Be about yourself" phil says, holding his head in his palm and looking into dans eyes.
"U-uh, well, My name is Dan, that you already knew.." dan says, realising that he was being stupid, phil laughs
"Do you have a last name or will I need to make one up for you" phil laughs,
"Howell. Do you need my credit card details too?" Dan jokes and they both start laughing. The environment they are creating in between them is much more different than everyone else in the place, it's more, interesting, you could say. Them getting to know each other is much different to people who have know each other for years.
"And what about you, what's your last name?" Dan asks, looking at phil as he sips his drink,
"Lester" dan smiles, he likes that name.
The food comes out and they start eating, but Dan is still thinking about what to talk about.
"So, uh. Do you go to Starbucks much?" Dan asks, putting his almost finished burger down.
"Sometimes" phil smiles, putting his down too, and cleaning his hands with a napkin.
"Well you have been visiting me a lot and I've been working at that shop for 2 years and haven't seen you till 2 days ago" dan brings up, phil blushes and smiles, but it changes back and he coughs.
"I uh, was In the area and wanted a drink, I met you, and you were cool so I kept coming back to see you!" He says, seeming to be hiding something from him. Dan doesn't think to much of it.
After an hour or so of talking they both pay the bill after a small argument over it and say goodbye and leave. Dan had the receipt and had a read through of what they had. A chicken burger with fries and a beef burger with fries.
And at the bottom of the sheet of paper, was some small writing.
'See you tomorrow >•<'
Dan walked home in the dark to his small apartment in the city, a few blocks away from where he works and gets into the elevator, pressing floor 28.
On the way up he looks at the paper again and folds it up and puts it in his wallet pocket. He unlocks the front door and closes it behind him. The apartment is dimly lit and lonely. He walks into the kitchen, throwing his keys on the breakfast bar and sits down on his bean bag where his XBox controller was, but he didn't feel like playing.
After a few minutes dan passes out into a dream that he wouldn't wake up from till his alarm goes off at 6.
