the next day dan showed up to work on time, for once. he couldn't get the boy he had met the day prior out of his mind. although this didn't stop him from doing his job, it acualy fulled him along to continue the day until it became 5 pm, where everyone is leaving and clean up starts. dan clenches the note from the other day in his hand and slides it into the frount pocket of his apron.
This boy he had met bought something new to his life, and he liked it.

Half an hour passes and everyone leaves. Dan's hopes of seeing this boy again dies slowly. He waited behind the counter, starring at the sliding doors. No one was there.
"Dan? What are you still doing here?" Chris asks as he walks out of the staff room, dans attention isn't taken away from the door.
"Waiting to see if someone will show up" dan says, laying his head on the countertop, still looking at the door.
"Surely your not talking about that boy who you were playing with yesterday, hmm?" Chris smirks at dan. Dan can see Chris doing so in the corner of his eye.
"How do you know about him?" Dan asks, finally talking his eyes off the door and looking at Chris.
"The security cameras don't lie" Chris says laughing, dans attention is drawn back to the door again.
"You like this boy, don't you?" Chris says, joining in with dan, though dan Dosent realised but he is starting to Blush.

"W-what?! No I like him as a.. friend.."

"Friends with benefits no doubt"

"HEY IM NOT GAY!"

"Then what are you? I don't think you have ever mentioned a girl in your time knowing me"

"I did like JLaw..."

"Did like JLaw. What about now?"

Dan lets out a sigh, thinking about it, and realising he does like phil. More than he should. But if he was to tell this boy, if he shows up, what if he didn't feel the same? He would have ruined a friendship he doesn't want to loose.

"Chris, I'm Bisexual" dan blurts out without thinking, soon enough Realising what he had said then being ashamed of what he said. Dan hides his face in his hands
"Wait, really?" Chris says, then clapping continuously, dan is confused and looks up at him.
"I should have told you that I'm gay ages ago! Wow your really open, dan! This is why we get along well!" Dan is shocked by the way Chris has responded to this. He is also shocked at the fact that Chris is gay!
"I need to head to my next job. I'll talk to you a bit later bud" Chris says taking off out the door and is left alone, In the shop.
Dan feels upset about the boy not turning up but thinks of the best. Maybe he had to do something?

He grabs his bag from the staff room and the shop keys and heads out, only to see a boy with short raven hair, sat in one of the couches.
"Phil?" Dan asks, the boy turns around and they make eye contact.
"Sorry I was late. I had to pick something up" he says, standing up, holding a tin of chocolate powder, and giving it to dan.
"You didn't have to do that" dan laughs,
"I wanted to I didn't need to" Phil laughs back at him. Dan places the chocolate powder behind the counter for the morning shift.
"Well, I legally need to close the shop so we can't say here, sorry" dan says holding up the Keys, phil giggles as they head out of the shop and dan locks the doors.
"I wasn't intending on staying here. I wanted to get to know you properly so I was thinking the burger joint down the road!" He says. Dan smiles at that idea.
"Sure. But I'm paying"
