Title and Story Appearance

1. The Title of your story! Abandon 'love' or 'queen' or 'archer'. I challenge you to think up something better, something intriguing. 

2. Also, create a cover to attract readers. Not just a random image, please, put some time in and create something that complements your story. Canva makes this easy anyway.

3. And write a short summary to go with your cover.

4. Consider dedicating the first chapter of your story as an introduction. Welcome your readers. This is not a must. Do you like when authors do this?

Book vs. Movie

5. Is your story only movie-based? Okay, if you know the original book series and trivia. If not, read it or leave the whole project be. The movies are mere shadows of C. S. Lewis' work. This point, though, is debatable.

Setting

6. Decide for one book/era to place your story in. Not TLWW and PC/VODT! No one grows that old, cursed or not. A good explanation I once read was an eternal sleep-curse (like in Sleeping Beauty).

Exception: They are from our world and travel back like the Pevensie siblings.

7. Does YC replace Susan or Lucy wholly or in parts? Just...don't.

8. Destined to be the fifth king or queen? Why would you change the original like that? I know, what are fanfictions for then. Well, at least make a new prophecy.

But why not let YC be there for another destiny? I once read a story in which a fifth child from our world came to Narnia to become a warrior.

Or let them come into the story within the Golden Age? The dynasties of Archenland and Calormen nearly always existed throughout Narnian history.

9. Telmar during the Pevensies' reign? Look it up please. This needs a very profound foundation and history.

Religious Components

10. You may not be a Christian but still you need to consider this component in this fandom. You may take Narnia away from Christianity, but you can't take Christianity out of Narnia. Don't be disrespectful towards a religion/believe and the author's intentions!
