Neha was not feeling well since last few days. She was feeling dizzy, nauseous and always tired throughout the day and felt like sleeping. Today morning was no different but she has to go to college so she got up with great difficulty and released her breath in relief seeing Namit was not present. He would start fussing over her as soon as she woke up. She looked at the wall clock to see the time. Well she needs to buck up or else she would get late for work. Namit would also be finishing up with his exercises.

Namit came in his room after exercising and saw Neha getting ready. She was not well since last few days which made him worried and on top of that she was not taking any medicines he gave her or agreed to come with him to hospital and got checked up properly.

Namit : Good morning love. How are you feeling today?

If today also she didn't feel good then he was dragging her to hospital. Enough of her excuses and stubborness now. Namit, Kavita and Yash tried to convince her to take medicines and get her required tests done but no she was hell bent on coming back to health on her own. Even she fought with Namit when he asked her no ordered her to take sick leave from her work.

Neha smiled weekly : I am feeling good today.

He went closer to her and kissed her forhead.

Neha : Namit I am sorry....

Namit asked confused : Why?

Neha sighed : Since last two three days I am behaving so irrationally. I didn't listened to you or maa papa for that matter. I refused to eat medicines you gave me nor I allowed you to do my check up. I troubled you a lot na???

Namit sat on the couch and made her sit on his lap : Yes you behaved irrationally but that thing didn't troubled me. Seeing you so weak and dull troubles me darling. You know I treat number of patients daily but seeing my own wife sick makes me feel helpless. I didn't forced you to come hospital with me because you needed rest but if today also you were not feeling well then I was ready to throw you over my shoulder and drag you to hospital.

Neha giggled : Seriously??

Namit : Yes. Neha you are not just alone baby. Have you thought how would I feel seeing you like this?

Neha looked at him with guilt : I know and I am sorry but thank you for taking care of me. Even though I refused to take medicine you would make me eat anyhow. You always made sure in these last few days that I rest properly, don't skip my meals and don't exhaust myself. Today can I drive to college myself?

Namit said sternly : No today also driver will drop you. You still have weakness. Why don't you take leave for some days sweetie?

Neha : Namit we discussed this earlier also and my answer is still no. What will I do sitting at home whole day?

Namit : You need to rest more....

Neha rolled her eyes : I am resting only. You maa and papa don't allow me to even lift my own plate since I am not feeling well. I cannot rest more than this ok. At college also, papa called the principal and said to allot only few lectures to me for the time being.

Namit : That's because we all love you and worry for you honey....

Neha whinned : But you know now other staff members are feeling that the principal is being partial and biased towards me.

Namit : Don't mind them. They don't know that your college principal is dad's good friend so they will think like that only.

Neha : Hey let's eat outside today!!!!

Namit looked at her as if she is gone mad : Have you lost your brain somewhere. No outside food for you. Tell mom to make whatever you want to eat. She will prepare it.

Neha gave puppy eyes to him : Pleasseee Pleaseeeeee I want to eat ragda Puri that too with extra spice.

Namit : No first get well properly and then I will think of it.

Neha glared at him : You won't listen to me??

Namit glared back : I won't when it concerns your health.

Neha stood up from his lap and stomped her foot.

Neha gritted angrily : Then don't talk to me.

Saying so she took her purse and left their room. Namit just wondered what happened. One minute she is sad and sorry for her behaviour and another moment she is angry on him just because he didn't allowed her outside food. God she is weird. He shook his head and went to take shower. When he came downstairs, Neha was nowhere to be seen.

Namit : Mom where is Neha?

Kavita : She was getting late so left for her work...

Namit frowned : Did she eat her breakfast and medicines?

Kavita : Yes I made her eat fruits and gave her a glass of milk to drink along with her medicines. Don't worry

Yash : Eat your breakfast Namit or else you will be late.

Namit : Yes Dad and Mom if today she is not feeling well after coming from college then bring her to hospital for check up. Don't listen to her excuses.

Kavita smiled : Okay I will.

Neha finished her morning classes and came back to her cabin feeling tired. When she reached her cabin, a wave of dizziness hit her and she quickly sat on her chair and put her head down. After a while when she felt better, she gulped water and closed her eyes for a while. What was happening to her she wondered. Today she will go and get her check up done. It's high time now. She took her phone to tell Namit but then dropped the idea thinking he will worry unnecessarily. She decided to get her check up done and then inform him. She was sure it was just some flu or something. Once her reports came normal, her family members specially her husband will be in relief.

She called the hospital and booked an appointment for her. After that she cancelled her afternoon lectures and took half day leave. When she was collecting her stuff for leaving, her phone blinked with Namit's message.

Namit : How are you feeling now?

Neha rolled her eyes : I am fine husband. Take a chill pill

Namit : Very funny....

Neha : I know😉

Namit : Alright call me when you reach home

Neha : Ok sir anything else....

Namit : Yes. I love you....

Neha : I love me too.....

Namit : Haha so hilarious. Now my appointments are waiting for me. See you at home. Bye take care baby..

Neha : I will. Bye my goofball...

Namit : Goofball??? Seriously??? Is that even a name?

Neha : Yup 😅😅

Namit : You have lost it!!

Neha laughed seeing his message. She took her purse and went for her check-up. She gave her samples for test and waited for her reports to come. After about an hour, the doctor called her in again and congratulated her as she was pregnant. Neha was momentarily shocked hearing that she was pregnant. She and Namit were trying since last few months and now when she finally convinced she felt surreal. Doctor prescribed her prenatal vitamins and a list of do's and don'ts. She thanked the doctor and left for her home. She was excited to share the news with her family specially Namit but not now. Tomorrow is their special day. It's their first wedding anniversary and she would give this news to him tomorrow. She caressed her still flat stomach lovingly with a serene smile on her face.
