Neha was bouncing in joy when she joined Kavita and Yash for dinner. Kavita knew from her smiling face that everything is sorted out between her and Namit.

Kavita teasingly : What took so long dear?

Neha blushed hearing her : I was resting maa

Yash : Ohh really we thought we heard you were talking to someone when I came to call you for dinner.

Neha : I was resting only but Namit called.

Yash pouting : Tell your husband to call us also!!

Neha shaking her head at her father in law's antics : Papa he said Hi to you and maa and told me to inform you two that he will call you tomorrow. He had to rush to the hospital now.

Yash was further going to play along when Kavita interrupted : Yash stop teasing my daughter. Let's start with dinner. I am hungry.

All three enjoyed and laughed happily having their dinner. Kavita and Yash were happy seeing the joy on Neha's face because of Namit. They wanted their both the kids to be happy.

Days passed and now it's been two months since Namit went to U.S. In this past month both became very close with each other. There was not a moment when they both didn't talked for hours on phone when they got time from their work. Namit would often send gifts to surprise Neha whereas Neha left no stone unturned to help Namit in opening up with her and bringing him out of his reserved zone.

Their closeness was also seen by their family members and both the families were really happy for the kids. Neha was losing her patience and desperately wanted Namit to come back whereas Namit was working day and night resting less so he could finally go back home to his parents and specially his wife.

He was in the middle of his rounds when his phone vibrated. Seeing Neha's name he picked up : Baby I will call you back later ok.

Neha sniffing : No need now to call back. Bye

Namit got worried hearing her sniffing on call. They talked last night and everything was alright at that time. He wondered what happened suddenly that she was crying. Did his parents said something to her. No that can't be possible because his mom and dad never said anything to Neha and even if they tell her it's for her own benefit and even Neha don't feel bad for it. Maybe something happened at college. He just reviewed few critical patients and left the remaining to get checked up by his juniors.

He rushed to his cabin to call her. When Neha picked up his call, he asked at once

Namit : Neha baby what happened? Why are you crying?

Neha sniffed more : I want to meet you.

Namit sighed. He cut the call and video called her. Seeing her crying face and red nose, he wished he was there to hug her and comfort her.

Namit : What happened darling? Why my angry bird is crying today for a change rather than scolding me

Neha : You find it funny Namit? I don't want to talk to you. I am going to cut the call.

Namit : Hey no I am sorry ok. Now tell me what happened. Did anyone say anything to you?

She nodded her head in no : No one said me anything. It's just......

Namit : It's just???????

Neha : My stomach is paining and I feel like eating ice cream and I want to hug you and kiss you and I am missing you terribly. You are very bad husband who doesn't care for his wife at all......I ......

She kept blabbering and his world just stopped at the word Kiss. Wow did she just say that she wanted to kiss him. Namit wished if he was there with her right at this moment he would have definitely shut her mouth by kissing her senseless.

Neha shouted when he was not responding to her : Namit are you even listening? See I told you that.....

Namit interrupted : Neha darling relax. How much will you talk. Is it that time of your month?

Neha blushed and nodded her head looking everywhere but him. He grinned looking at her who was feeling shy. She looked so adorable right now that he wanted to eat her up. Ohh God why am I still here he complained mentally.

Namit : No need to feel shy from me Neha. I am not just your husband but also a doctor. I can understand your pain alright! You want me to suggest you some pain meds?

Neha : No I will do hot water shake but I am missing you so much Namit. I feel lonely.

Namit : Sweetie my work is almost finished here now. I promise I will be back soon.

Neha : Everytime you say the same old beaten lines whenever I ask you to come back. I have started to feel now that you don't want to come back only... Saying this she again started crying.

Namit really felt helpless seeing his wife crying for him and he couldn't do anything. He need to change his priorities now. His family should come first than his work. Enough of professional commitments.

Namit : Neha you are a rational person. Stop behaving like those typical clingy wives. I know your mood swings are high right now.

Neha became furious listening to him : Hey this has nothing to do with my mood swings and FYI I am not behaving like a typical clingy wife. Which wife in the world can't demand her husband to come to her. But if you think that I act so irrational then fine come home whenever you want. I won't ever bother you again.

Namit : Neha baby listen I didn't mean to.....

Neha cut him in between : And we won't talk now until and unless it's necessary. Bye

She disconnected the call and switched it off. How dare he do so with her? Doesn't he miss her? Let him go to hell with his precious work!!

Namit tried to call her several times but she had switched off her phone. He looked at the time and dropped the idea of calling his mother and ask her about checking on Neha. Kavita would have been slept by now. He felt guilty for calling Neha irrational. He should understand she must been in pain. Moreover Neha was right. It was not right on his part to leave her for so long soon after their marriage. But how can he explain her that he was also missing her like hell. He was just stuck up with his prior commitments. Now he needs to buck up and return back to his family as soon as he can.

He knew she was angry and cranky and won't talk to him so thought to send her an apology gift and started searching online for a perfect gift for his dearest wife.
