The king was listening to the men and Queen Lalisa come to some kind of agreement around the borders the Sphinx and Lamia, to not make the crime so cruel, if either of them pass each other territories. Some of the time Sehun was eyeing the Queen, and for some reason the king didn't like it.

Every time King Jungkook caught Sehun staring at the queen, he ask him for a opinion on something. King Jungkook was appreciative of how the three men was handling the news of Queen Lalisa being a Lamia, but he wonder was there some kind of ulterior motive.

The meeting was over and he noticed Sehun walking to the queen. He took a step forward but Mino got in the way.

"Sir, we have a few people requesting to buy more land that isn't reserve to either Lamia or Sphinx." He tells the king.

King Jungkook had to pry his eyes away from Sehun. "Umm, yeah. Why don't you look into the land a little more and bring it up to two councilmen and we can have a meeting about it."

Mino was writing all the information. "So for right now, we are saying no. Correct?"

The king wanted to kick Mino for asking so much question. "Yes."

"Okay. I'll request the meeting." Mino said with out realizing the king irritation.

But Jimin noticed the king's strange behavior. He noticed it once Sehun kisses the Queen's hand. Jimin initially push it aside but as the meeting gone by, the king was asking Sehun a lot of questions and became very defensive.

After some time he wonder if the king was interested in the queen but for as long as Jimin knew Jungkook, he never been seriously interested in a women.

King Jungkook was on the verge of snapping Mino, and Jimin noticed. Jimin walks up to the king and Mino and claps his on Mino's shoulders.

"Mino, the meeting is over. Anything else can be discuss later." Jimin tells Mino.

King Jungkook looks at Jimin for a moment and there was a hint of amusement in a Jimin's eyes.

"Very well. Good day King Jungkook." Mino bows the king and leaves.

Bobby was next to Sehun as he spoke to the queen.

"Queen Lalisa, have you spent some time outside the palace here?" Sehun ask her.

King Jungkook raised a brow as he heard his question.

"It's only been my first day here." She replies.

"I would love to show you around." Sehun tells her.

King Jungkook watch her reaction but there wasn't any. She had a smile on but it didn't change from her normal smile. She didn't blush nor look uncomfortable.

"My schedule is very busy. If I have time I will let you know." She replies.

King Jungkook smirks at her response. He had a satisfied feeling that she said no to Sehun. Jimin watch and observed the situation. He came to conclusion, King Jungkook was bothered with the fact a man was taking interest in the Queen.

Well this is interesting, Jimin said to himself.

"Sehun." Jimin call his name. All eyes were on Jimin. "We have another meeting. Why don't I walk you out." Jimin walks to the two gentlemen. "Queen Lalisa, can you keep the king company. Make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble." Jimin looks over the king and gives him a wink.

Bobby, Sehun and Jimin walks out the room, leaving the queen and king alone in the room.

It was silent and the two look at each other with a smile. King Jungkook walks to his liquor cabinet and grabs two glass.

"Would care for a drink?" He ask she silent queen.

"Gin and tonic please."

The king makes two gin and tonic. Once he was done, he walks to the Queen and hands her a glass.

"Thank you." The Queen said as she grab the glass from the king.

The two took a sip of drink from the glass in unisons. The two were looking at each other on the brim of their glass as they took the sip.

When Queen Lalisa was done taking a drink, she sat the glass down on the table. She looks like she was on the verge of saying something but convince herself otherwise.

"There isn't any other meeting." King Jungkook said breaking the silence. Queen Lalisa furrow her brows in confusion. "Jimin said there was another meeting, but there isn't any." He explains.

"Oh, why did Jimin say that?" Queen Lalisa ask.

For the first time in the King's life, he was trying to make up an excuse. King Jungkook looks at the Queen with not knowing what to say.

"King Jungkook, are you okay?" Queen Lalisa look concern.

After a second, King Jungkook shakes his head, awkwardly chuckling. "He was just saying that to get the guys out."

"Oh, well the men were very nice." Queen Lalisa said as she grab her glass again and took a sip.

King Jungkook felt something. He felt a little anger, but didn't understand exactly why. He clears his throat before speaking.

"Was there a specific gentlemen that caught your attention?" He ask her.

Queen Lalisa eyes widen, "Oh not like that King Jungkook." She said abruptly.

King Jungkook body felt warm, "It's not my place Queen Lalisa. I was just curious."

Queen Lalisa tuck a piece of hair behind her ear. "Well, I am too busy to be interested in a man."

King Jungkook understood what she meant, because he was the same way. But that didn't stop him from enjoying his time with ladies in bed.

"I see..." King Jungkook said.

Queen Lalisa brown doe eyes held curiosity in them.

"You don't have the same problem?" She ask.

King Jungkook was caught off guard. He didn't know why but felt afraid to answer the question. He told himself to be honest.

"I do, but I find time to enjoy myself."

It took a minute but as if the queen realize what he meant, her eyed widen. She turn her body around to look at the king.

The king wanted to face palm himself. Why the fuck did I say that? He question himself.

"I am sorry Queen Lalisa, I didn't mean to say something so inappropriate."

Queen Lalisa finally turns around with the same smile on her face. "It's okay, I'm an adult."

The king looks at the Queen's body and he found himself imaging the Queen in his bed. And he couldn't help but felt some kind of desire for her.

A clear of someone's throat got his attention and the Queen was looking at the king with a raise brow. "I should be going."

As she walks away, Jungkook didn't understand but he didn't like her walking away. He thought of something quickly.

"Do you like flowers?" He ask.

Queen Lalisa froze as she reach the door. She slowly turns around. "I do."

"I have a beautiful garden. Would you like to take a walk with me in the garden?"

The Queen didn't say yes immediately. She was thinking and finally she looks at the king.

"I would love that."

The two smile brightly at one another. King Jungkook took steps toward the queen with an intense look. He gesture for her to go before him and they both start to walk.

Bam Bam and Jin we're outside of the room. When they see the king and queen walking out the two follow them. King Jungkook led the three outside and into the garden.

Bam Bam froze misstep when he realize where they were going. But he push away the hesitation when King Jungkook was walking in the garden.

King Jungkook noticed the queen eyes lit up when she looks at the garden. He had a warm feeling in himself when the queen was admiring at the beautiful flowers. He couldn't help but look around the garden himself.

It's been awhile since he actually been in here. He knows about five maids who still take good care of the garden for his mother.

He remembers the times that he would come in here as a child and help his mother plant the garden. His father didn't really like the idea of his son planting flowers but he loved his wife.

"Do you not come in here often?" Queen Lalisa caught his attention.

He shakes the memories away. "Why do you say that?"

A small smirk appears on her face. "You look more intrigued than I do."

He chuckles. "It's been awhile. This was my mother's. She did this from scratch."

A small frown was on her face. "Was?"

"Yeah, was. She pass away eight years ago." He tells her.

The Queen nod her head, "Yeah both my parents died a five months before I was crown queen."

Jungkook felt bad for talking about sad subject. "I think the maids have been keeping it nice for my mother."

A smile was on the queen face. "Your mother must have been amazing for people wanting to keep a piece of her here without asking."

"She was."

As the king and queen were talking and walking around the garden, Princess Jennie and Princess Rose we're talking about the decoration and food prep for the ball.

"Wait, you have fresh oysters here?" Princess Rose ask in amazement.

"Yes, and they are delicious." Princess Jennie replies. "Have you figure out what dress you are wearing?" Princess Jennie ask Princess Rose.

"No, I haven't been able to look around. I am not sure if we are able to." Princess Rose frown.

Princess Jennie understood, it's not going to be easy for the princess and the queen to be out in the open. Princess Jennie was trying to figure out a solution when  they were on top of one the staircase.

A figure outside of the window caught Princess Jennie's attention. She squints her eyes to make sure she was seeing things correctly. A gasp escape her lips when she saw her cousin in his mother's garden.

Princess Rose looks out the window, trying to see what Princess Jennie was shock about. She sees the king and queen walking in the garden talking to one another. They seem to be enjoying each other's company.

"What is wrong?" Princess Rose ask the Sphinx's Princess.

"I.. I.. can't believe he's in the garden."princess Jennie was surprise.

"Why?" Princess Rose question.

"Because he hasn't been there since his mother pass away. It's too much a reminder of her." Jimin voice surprise the two princess.

But Jimin wasn't looking at the ladies, his eyes were on the king. Jimin question if the king was interest in the queen but because he was in the garden, Jimin was convinced. Queen Lalisa is a beautiful, elegant and strong Queen. Jimin quickly imagine the King marrying the Queen, and it wasn't a bad image.

"Oh I remember you telling me that." Princess Rose said to Jennie. But there a confusion on Rose's face. "But why did he bring Lisa there?"

Both Princess Jennie and Jimin look at each other then back to the window at their king. They both didn't know the answer but they have their suspicions.

Princess Jennie remember Princess Rose telling her that the people of the Lamia wanted a king. She suddenly had the same idea as Jimin.

"Princess Rose, does Queen Lalisa have any suitors?" She ask the other princess.

The Lamia Princess shakes her head, "No, Lisa doesn't get flattered easily. It take a lot for a man to capture her attention." She then looks at the two Sphinx, "Why?"

Both Jimin and Jennie had a smirk on their face, "Do you think our King can capture her attention?"

Princess Rose looks at the two skeptically, as if she finally understood, her eyes widen. She looks at her cousin in thought then back at Jennie.

"Your king has potential but Lisa is a women with pride. She holds the definition of beautiful goddess. Do you think your king could handle my cousin?"

The two look out the window again at their king. King Jungkook was watching Queen Lalisa with a smile. Queen Lalisa hardly glance his way but she was very cheerful. They both knew Queen Lalisa is very different from all the other women he found interest in. But that may be the key for him.

Someone different.

"Well, Queen Lalisa can knock his ego down a bit and it wouldn't harm him." Princess Jennie said with a smirk.

Jimin agreed. Eventually the king would have to settle down and with Sphinx and Lamia trying to keep peace, this could be the key for the two.
