January 8th 2002

My parents told me that I will be marrying Shin Hye. I never thought that would be the plan but it makes sense. We are both from the richest family and with combining the family, we would be the number one family. We would considered royalty.

February 2nd 2002

Shin Hye and I went on our first real date. Our parents made us go to every event, and have dinner every night, but this was our first date that I asked her myself. We are starting to see each other more than friends. Can I really fall in love with my best friend? Maybe this was all meant to be.

Our parents spoke about grandkids today. I'll admit that I like the thought better than I expected. Shin Hye became shy but I think she ready too. I can't wait to marry her.

Shin-Hye and I went to the city today. I told her I love her for the first time. She didn't say it back but I know she loves me too but it going to take time. I told her I would wait for he till she is ready.

I gave her a ring and told her it means I love her and I am willing to do anything for her. All she has to say is yes. And I'm here. She took the ring but didn't say yes.

Shin- Hye cried for the first time today. I didn't know why. I told her that I was there for her. Whatever she needs. I'll be there for her. She didn't say anything.

I haven't seen Shin Hye in a week. She said she needed to do something. She has been off lately and distant. I don't know what is going but she said she need some space. I gave it to her, I want her to be with me fully and never have doubts. I know she and I are meant to be. Our family are meant to be united.

Shin Hye told me she love me back but she cried as she told me. I didn't know how to take it. I was happy but I was worried. She told she is fine and she really does love me but she did tell me she has feeling for someone else. And that they had something before our parents told us about us getting married. I told her I understand but she needs to end it. She told me she would.

Shin Hye and I are officially engaged. She accepted the ring I gave her. The ring wasn't a typical engagement ring but when I saw it, all I can think of was her. Her eyes were warm like the ocean and her heart was a heart of gold. The blue and gold is everything that reminds me of her.

She is distant again. But on the bright side we finally set a date. We are getting married in three months. Our family also said that people told the councilmen that we need a king and queen, since we are getting married they elected us to be royal family. We accepted.

Shin Hye and I had our first fight. She told me that we were rushing things but I told her since we are the first royal family we have an obligation for our people. She asked me what about us. How can I not think about what was best for us. I don't understand what she means. I love her, getting married is the best thing for us. And the people. It's the best of both world.

Shin Hye went somewhere for the day. And she came back more distant than ever. She said she is sorry for making feel uneasy lately and she just been stress. But she said that she wants this. So we made love for the first time and if I ever had doubt. It was gone the moment we became one.

We broke off our engagement. We thought we could work it. Actually I thought we could work it but she didn't want to. She didn't want this. She wanted him.  I took off the ring I gave her but she fought me with it. But when I did, it hit the staircase hard that it broke. The middle out of the ring. She walk to grab one part of the ring. She said she still wanted it, because she still love me but she also leave him.

I can't believe what the world is coming to. Shin-Hye announce her engagement with the guard. And is fighting for the throne with me. The women is crazy. I will not let her win.

July 7th 2002

My parents told me that her family is going to support her fight for the throne. They are equally as powerful and rich as us. So now it's time for the people to vote who they want to rule. My father told me to get allies and make sure people are on our side.

I haven't stop working and getting people to stand by me. For all the people I spoke to they said they would. But my parents told me to not to trust everyone's word. To keep getting people on our side.

I met a women. She is beautiful, and kind hearted. She told me she believe what I can do and will be by my side. People said I was crazy for moving too fast but never once said anything about Shin Hye and her sudden engagement.

The fight between our family is too deep. Our parents have said too much to hurt one another and Shin Hye and I can't stand to even look each other anymore. Her fiancé is by her side at all time. And my new fiancé is by side and I feel good with he next to me. It makes the pain bearable.

She is turning our country against one another. She said it was the both of us but it started with her cheating on me. So she did this. She broke our land, she broke us. And she brought our city down with her.

The councilmen are having a meeting with us and Shin Hye family. They said that the people are weary of our leadership. They believe that either of us will be good leader but the way that we are handling this is starting to break our country.

My father said she is suggesting a plan to the councilmen and it will take time for it fall through. I ask him what he was going to suggest but all he did was smirk at me and left without a word. I trust my father but I like being blind sided a

My father plans came out. He suggested to split the two country. It was a huge shock but Shin Hye parents didn't object. The councilmen didn't like it. They said what we are suggesting is immoral. Maybe it is but people respect both of our family but only one of us can be the royal family. With this we both can. They said they would announce what we thought and will have the people to choose, and let them pick the side.

The people are voting. The people will choose if they want the country to be split. Maybe this is how things are suppose to be. Maybe this was our destiny. I don't have the energy to continue fighting with Shin Hye. I don't have the energy to continue see her, especially with another man.

The votes finally came in and the decided they want to split the country. Shin Hye and I had a meeting. She ask me again if this is what I wanted. I told her what I wanted was to be united with her but not if she was in love with someone else. She cried but she still chose him.

"Maybe our families weren't meant to be one."

I spoke to my Park Hyung-Sik, my good friend. He said that he was surprised with the outcome of everything. He thought that our families would reunite, may be not now but eventually but obviously it won't. Our country is dividing.

Today the country split. We chose the title of our side. I Jung Min-Ho is the king the of the Sphnix and Shin-Hye is now Kim Shin-Hye but here name will be change to Manoban, since that's is Guard last name. I am getting married in two weeks and we will form a good family. So my family can continue to rule as long as we can.

King. Jungkook shut the journal with mix feelings. The whole country split because of fail engagement. Yes Lili's great grandmother cheated but they made it seem like it was more serious. I don't understand how history got twisted, to the fact we loved another and through time it became hate.

Just because of a love quarrel.

This wasn't right. This country was suppose to be one. Not two.

This didn't sit will with King Jungkook but he didn't know how to fix it.

I hate what she had to go through. The fact we didn't see anything was going wrong with her broke my heart. She stayed strong to make us happy. Money wasn't the issue, it was the trust she gave a person and they took advantage of it. That was disgusting.

I hope you all can love your self and trust people around you with out any worries. Unfortunately sometime life throws you these curveball.but I hope everyone know you are not alone.
