After some time in the garden, the king suggested for them to walk around the palace. King Jungkook told Queen Lalisa facts about the castle and few things from the past.

They were now in the hall of all the past kings and queens portrait of the Sphinx. RM and Jimin showed the three Lamia this hall on their first day to the Sphnix.

Queen Lalisa remember a certain picture that capture her attention. It was an image of a queen standing next to a king, it was the same pose as the others. The women had beautiful pale skin and green eyes, her smile was wide and you can see one dimple. The king didn't smile, he stood there with a stern look in his al black and white tux.

It wasn't the people that caught her attention but the ring on the Queen's hand did. The ring was place right hand's ring finger. It was a gold ring with with orange sapphire in the middle, with six mini orange sapphire on the too curve and six mini blue sapphire on the bottom curve.

It was beautiful, yes but it was almost identical to her mother's ring. Her mother had a ring just like that,  just without the mini orange and blue sapphire around it.

The Queen was silent at she observe the ring, the king didn't understand what she was doing. Honestly the queen forgot the king was there.

"Queen Lalisa, are you okay?" The king's voice brought her back to reality.

Lisa slowly turn her head back to king. "Yes, I am sorry." She points to the lady, "Who is this exactly?"

The king raise a brow in confusion but answers her, "That's my grandmother." He tells her.

The Queen brows knitted together trying to figure something out but it was useless because she didn't know what the question was.

"The ring on her finger, is that a family ring?" She ask the king.

King Jungkook looks at the ring a little closer than back to the queen. There was hint of hesitation but he answers, "Yes, it is. My mother had it when she was alive . But my grandmother broke it and it's into pieces." He explains.

Queen Lalisa looks over to the next picture where she thought she would see the ring again but it wasn't there. Lisa was confuse but she pushes the confusion aside.

Maybe it's coincidence, she tells herself.

Queen Lalisa looks a the king after she convince herself that it's pure coincidence.

"Princess Jennie seems more excited for the ball than you." Queen Lalisa states out to change the subject.

King Jungkook lips went to a thin line, "Why would I be excited for a ball?"

"Because it is your birthday..." Queen said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Yeah, but people who attend don't really act as if it a party. They treat it as another meeting, just bigger and fancier." King Jungkook's voice was lace with irritation.

Queen Lalisa understood, they had balls twice a year but it was considered a token appreciation of the people. The ball was selected random of her people, it wasn't just the rich who attended. Because of that, the people in there lower class, tend to up the people and it becomes more of stating who you are instead of a ball.

"Yeah, but the people enjoy these kind of things and we must do what we must do." Queen Lalisa said.

"Unfortunately that is true. I actually cancelled but it was reinstated." King Jungkook said as they start to walk again.

Queen Lalisa brow furrows, "What happen?" She ask as she follows.

There was a moment of silent from the king. He looks over at the Queen with hesitation, but back to look ahead. The way the king was acting made the queen curious.

"My councilmen believe this would be a good opportunity to find a wife." He tells her.

Queen Lalisa eyes widen. She did not expect that. The king seem like a guy, who does what he wants and doesn't really care what other thinks. She was shock that is the reason the ball was back on.

"Oh, I see. Do you not think you will?" She ask.

"If I never before, why would I now?" He states back to the queen.

"True, but people change in a year." The Queen was thinking then she looks at the king, "Do you already have someone in mind? Is that why you are against the ball?"

The king head snap to her direction, "No, I don't have time to meet anyone and really get to know them. I'am always working." He tells her.

Queen Lalisa nod her head in understanding, "Sorry, I was just curious."

King Jungkook smiles as he looks at the Queen with tenderness in his eyes. "Do you have any suitors Queen Lalisa?"

Queen Lalisa shook her head in frantic, "Oh no. Just like you I do not have time. Or nobody has actually capture my attention."

The king raises a brow, "Nobody has capture your attention?"

The Queen looks into the king's daring eyes. From the first moment she met the king, the king has been different from all the men she has ever met. He is handsome yes, there is no doubt about it but that was it.

"No, there hasn't been a man that capture my attention." She tells him.

The king didn't say anything back but he did look into the Queen eyes intensely. His daring eyes became curious with a hint of darkness. Queen Lalisa didn't know what to do or say. She waited till the king spoke.

After a second, he took a step forward. They weren't in each other personal space but they were close enough, if they whisper, the two were the only one who could each other words.

"I find it hard to believe a man can walk by and not try to get your attention." He said in a deep low voice.

The Queen was still frozen. She understood his words, she understood the king was implying she was beautiful. Lisa knew she was beautiful, that was the legend of a Lamia if you were a female. She were meant to be beautiful, sexy and elegant. It should be hard for men to not try to get to your attention if you were a Lamia.

She just never expected the king of the Sphinx to say such things to her. That is was what surprised her.

But she shook that feeling aside and gain back her composure.

"Men always try to get my attention King Jungkook, but no man has actually accomplish to really be different." She tells him.

The king had a smirk on his face. It was a dangerous look on him. Queen Lalisa took a step away from the king.

"May I go to my room. I'm quite tired." Queen Lalisa lies. She needed space and away from the king's gaze.

King Jungkook smirks widen, as if he accomplished something. He nods his head. "I'll see you at dinner."

The queen walks towards the stairs well aware of the king's eyes on her. She refuse to look back and give him the satisfaction that he has any kind of a effect on her. Which she felt he really doesn't.

When the queen made it to her room, she turns to Jin.

"Go rest. It had to been an exhausting day for you to follow me." She tells him.

Jin shook his head, "No ma'am. I can handle it. You go rest I'll continue to keep watch."

"Jin, it is okay. I think we are okay." Queen Lalisa tells him.

Jin was hesitant but he was slowly drifting away. And he knew he needed rest to fully keep the queen safe.

"I just need an hour of sleep and I'll be back." He tells her.

The Queen pats his shoulder, "Take as long as you need." With that the queen walks into her room.

A figure on her bed startled her. It was her cousin, Princess Rose.

"Rose, what are you doing here?" Queen Lalisa asked in shock.

"I'm just waiting for you. The king held on to you for awhile." Rose said with a smirk.

The Queen looks over at her cousin skeptically, "We walked around and talk." She said.

Princess Rose sat up on the Queen's bed and gave the Lisa a serious look, "Of course! You two must have a lot of business to discuss."

Queen Lalisa froze. She realized they should have been discussing business and peace but they been discussing other things. As if the Princess Rose knew what the queen was thinking, a smirk appears on her face.

The queen raises a brow at the princess. "What is going on?"

The princess shook her head, "Nothing, I'm just glad we are enjoying our time here."

The Queen wasn't convince that was it. She crosses her arms challenging Rose. "Uh huh. And you and Jimin are not attracted to each other."

Princess Rose gasp in surprise. She couldn't believe her cousin, the queen of Lamia, was so blunt. Her eyes squinted at the Queen. This is cousin talk now, not princess and queen talk.

"Yeah, and what about you and the king?" Rose threw back.

Queen Lalisa eyes widen, "What kind of nonsense are you talking about?"

Princess Rose stood up from the Queen's bed. "Lisa, you don't find him attractive?"

Lisa looks at her cousin skeptically, trying to understand what this whole thing was about. But to answer her question, "Yes, he is attractive but I don't understand what that has to do with anything."

Princess Rose smirks, "What else do you think about him?"

Lisa rolls her eyes. She turns around and went to sit down on the chair that was in the corner of the room. Rose follow and sat the chair next to her chair.

"He has this serious business demeanor and it's quite a powerful feeling. He is very organized and loves his cities. It's clear that he takes his cities business and land very serious." She tells Rose.

Rose smiles at the her cousin. Even though this wasn't what she was expecting, you can see that Queen Lalisa respect him.

"And what about his personal side?" Rose ask.

Queen Lalisa shrugs her shoulders, "He's nice. Knowledgeable. Umm... I did notice a maid interaction with the king. He seem very friendly with his staff. And then he questions Jin's relationship to me. It was weird."

This confuse Rose. She never thought of his relationship with his staff. Princess Rose didn't like what the queen was describing. She felt like she may have to investigate that a little more.

"What is this all about Rose?" Queen's question brought Rose our her thoughts.

"It's nothing. Umm, do you have any meeting tomorrow?" Rose ask Lisa.

"Umm, I believe three with the king. Why?"

"Well I need a dress for the ball and I want you to go with me." Rose explains.

The queen was trying to think what would be the best day. The next two-three days, the king and queen has some meetings. A lot of them with be the secrecy of her identity, so she must be careful.

"How about in three days. I should be free."

Princess Rose smiles. "Perfect. What should we do now?"

The Queen smiles at her cousin energy. "Well, can I help you and Princess Jennie with the ball?"

Princess Rose stood up and grabs Queen Lalisa hands. "Let's go. We have so much to do."

The two laughs and walk out of the Queen's room laughing. When they made it to the hallway, they walk to main ballroom, where princess Jennie stood in the middle looking around with a clipboard on her hand.

Suga, her guard was watching her and while there about six maid cleaning, making sure everything was decent.

And then there was the king. He stood there in other main entry watching his cousin planning everything. Queen Lalisa smiles when she saw the king out of kindness but it fades when the same maid that told the arrival of Sehun, Bobby and Mino, walks to the king with a seductive smile. The kings eyes became dark at the sight of the maid.

At that moment, Princess Jennie calls the Queen and Princess Rose, and the King's eyes met the Queen's. The two watched each other silently everyone was talking and moving around. The Queen didn't know what made her smile fade so quickly. She decides to ignore the king and walk towards Princess Jennie.
