On their first day at the Sphinx palace, Queen Lalisa was offered by the king to attend a meeting with him. He explained that this meeting was with a group of gentleman who help with security Of their land.

He said it was only going to be four men, including Jimin. He said that the this was an easy transit for people to get to know the Lamia.

Queen Lalisa agreed, not knowing what else she would be doing. Princess Rose would be with Princess Jennie, getting details for the Royal Ball back in order since the king just reinstated the ball.

Jisoo was going to be with RM, trying to get the bottom of the situation before we leave.

Jin will be with Queen Lalisa and She knows it bothers him that the Queen is easily trusting the Sphinx. Queen Lalisa doesn't trust them fully but she is keeping an open mind that things can change.

As the Queen was getting ready when there was a knock on her door. She was only in her robe, assuming it was her cousin, Princess Rose. She walks toward the door, and when she opens it, to her surprise it was the king.

King Jungkook gives her a smile, "Good morning Queen Lalisa, how was your night?"

Queen Lalisa looks around in awkwardness as she tries to close the top of her robe, then back to the King. She muster up the courage and smile, "It was fine. Thank you."

King Jungkook smiles widen. "Great, I am here to escort you to breakfast."

She furrow her brows, "That is quite all right, I have my guard to escort me."

The king smiles falters a little but was back into a smile, "I know, I was just offering."

The queen had a guilty feeling in her stomach. She didn't mean to be rude. In all honesty beside the guards, she never had a man near her room. She didn't understand this kind of feeling in her body.

She felt like was being rude to the king, so she apologizes. "I am sorry. If you give me a few minutes, I'll be out."

As if the king finally realize she was only in a robe,his eyes widen as he apologizes. King Jungkook nods his head and waited for Queen Lalisa to shut the door.

Queen Lalisa immediately went towards her bed, where her clothes laid. She quickly puts on her red and black plaid skirt with a black top. She then went to her closet to put grab her long red blazer to wear.

After five to ten minutes she is finally satisfied with her appearance and walks out the door. King Jungkook back was facing her and when he heard the door open, both the king and her royal guard turn around with a smile.

Her eyes met the King's and She saw his eyes look her up and down for a split second. He gave a small nib on his bottoms lip, which she saw but didn't care.Queen Lalisa was use of men looking at her, it never faze her. If a man was looking at her or was fond of her, then she was the the definition of a Lamia.

Lamia women were raise to be sophisticated and elegance with mysterious and sexiness. Because Of this Queen Lalisa never felt special when a man look her way because it was normal.

Queen Lalisa saw a glint it surprise in King Jungkook eyes when she ignore his gaze. And Queen Lalisa didn't care.

"I'm ready when you are." She tells him.

King Jungkook came back to reality, he held his hand out, for her to walk ahead of him. "Ladies first."

Queen Lalisa walks down the stairs with King Jungkook behind her. Jin was behind him. They finally reach the bottom and then King Jungkook walks next to her.

They both were silent as they walk to the dining table. Queen Lalisa was confuse on why nobody was the table.

"Our cousin went party planning already while our advisor's are making some calls. And Jimin wanted to go to the gym before the meeting." King Jungkook tells her as if he read her mind.

King Jungkook's royal guard,Bam Bam, was standing by the head of the table. Queen Lalisa noticed how BamBam's body went rigid for a second.

"King Jungkook." The king turns to the queen. "Do you mind if the guards eat with us?"

King Jungkook looks over at a surprise Bam Bam. His head then turn to Jin, who didn't look surprise. Jin was use of the Queen generosity, which is Jin always feel the need to protect her more.

The kings eyes went to the Queen, "Umm sure."

Queen Lalisa smiles, "Bam Bam, where would you like to sit?"

Bam Bam eyes darts to the king skeptically before going back to the queen. "Anywhere is fine." He bow his head.

The queen lips went into a thin straight line. She walks over to Bam Bam. Bam Bam eyes widen at how close the Queen was. She grabs his hand and walks him to the left side of where the king would be eating.

"Is this okay?" She ask him.

All Bam Bam did was nod his head. Queen Lalisa looks over The king with a huge smiles,but the king didn't smile back.  Queen Lalisa ignored the king and went to Jin.

"Jin, you should sit next to the King's right."

"No." Both Jin and the king said together.

The queen brows furrow at the two.

"With all do respect, I don't think my spot is next to the king." Jin said.

King Jungkook didn't let her argue with Jin, he went to the chair on the right side of where the king would be sitting, and pulls the chair out.

"I could have done that." Jin mumbles.

The king gave Jin a smile, "Well, as long as the queen's chair is pull out for her,  is all that matters."

Queen Lalisa notice the small hostility in both King Jungkook and Jin's eyes. She went to sit down before the two could argue any further.

"Thank you King Jungkook." She then turns to Jin, "Please sit Jin."

Jin hesitantly sat down next to the queen. He gives her a smile and started straight forward.

The maid brought in the meal and they start to eat. The table was quiet, Queen Lalisa and King Jungkook mostly spoke but it wasn't much.

"Do the gentleman that we are meeting today know I'm the Queen of the Lamia?" She ask the king.

"They do, this is a small group of men who I know aren't prejudice." He answers the Queen.

Queen Lalisa was glad to hear that. She had a little hope of them working together with no issues. Obviously that won't always be the case but this is good start.

A maid with a slender figures walks in and grabs our attention.

"Bobby, Mino and Sehun are here." She said.

The Queen notices the twinkle in her eyes as she looks over the king. Lisa looks at the king and saw a flirtatious look on the king. In the inside, the Queen was completely surprise but she did her best not to show.

"Thank you, please send them to the office." The king tells the maid.

"Yes sir, anything else?" She ask. The maid eyes stayed glued to the king's. Lisa notice the slight move of the king gently biting the bottoms of his lips.

Queen Lalisa stomach clench at the sight. She couldn't understand the weird feeling in her. Her mind was clouded with anger and tension in stomach. It was a weird feeling, and she couldn't put her finger on exactly what she was feeling.

"I think that will be all." Queen Lalisa said all of a sudden.

All eyes were on her shock except the eyes that belong to the maid. She was glaring at the Queen and didn't hide it.The queen hand clench into a fist.

"Queen Lalisa, would you like a drink?" Jin's question grab her attention.

Lisa eyes went to Jin and he gave her a gentle look. He grab her glass and hands it to her. She grabs it and took a sip. After drinking she felt better and embarrassed with the slight mood change.

"You two are close." King Jungkook said, which Jin and Queen Lalisa head turns to the king.

"I don't know what you mean? He is my guard." She said.

The king eyes went to Jin, as if he was trying to tell him something. "You two just seem more close than what it seems."

"Jin has been in my life since we were kids. We are friends as well. I trust my life in his hands." Queen Lalisa explains.

"I see." He said he looks at his drink on the table.

"Your maid seems to be quite fond of you." Queen Lalisa didn't know why she said that. It came out without her realizing it.

The king slightly smirks and he looks at the Queen. "My maid tends to me when I need them. They service me." He said.

The Queen brow slightly raise, "In which way."

The king and queen stared at one another with some kind of hostility. They didn't understand where the feeling of needing to question other people in their lives came from.

"I think we should go to the meeting." King Jungkook said.

"Yes, I think we should." Queen Lalisa notice King Jungkook standing up so she got up.

They walk next together up the stairs silently. And when they were in front of the door of his office, Jimin was there.

He bows to the Queen with a smile. "Good morning Queen Lalisa..." his smiles fade when his eyes saw the King Jungkook and Queen Lalisa facial expression.

"Good Morning Jimin." Lisa replies back with a force smile. "Shall we go in." She ask king.

King Jungkook smiles and looks at Jimin. "Yes let's go in."

When they enter, the guards stayed outside to guard the door. When they enter, three men in suits stood up looking over at the Queen.

Lisa observe the three strangers and they all look very welcoming. There were no judgement in their eyes and her sour mood disappears.

The shortest men that stood around 5'10 walks up the Queen. "Hello, my name is Bobby." He greets her, "It is a pleasure to meet you."

"Hello, it's nice to meet you too Bobby."

The other men with brown hair a little taller than Bobby walks up next Bobby, "My name is Mino, and it's an honored to meet you."

"Hello Mino. Thank you."

The tallest man with gentle eyes walks to the Queen without looking away. "Good morning g Queen Lalisa, my name is Sehun." He grabs her right and brought it to his lips and gave a gentle kiss. "I was told a Lamia's beauty is a goddess herself. You did not disappoint."

Queen Lalisa smiles at the man's compliment. She admits he was attractive and his bold words did make her smile.

"Thank you for your kind words." She remove her hand from his grasp.

"How is your stay so far? I hope the king is making you comfortable." He ask.

"It is good. Th-"

"Do you question my hospitality?" King Jungkook voice carries through the room.

Queen Lalisa was shock at his tone. She understood authoritative and commands but when it has its reasoning. She didn't understand why the king was acting so mean for no reason.

"No sir, I was just making conversation." Sehun said to the king.

"Well we should get to the meeting started." King Jungkook said. He didn't want anymore chit chats, he wanted the meeting to start.

Queen Lalisa waited for the men to sit, not knowing where her place is. A small touch on the back of her waist got her attention.

King Jungkook looks at the Queen. "Sit on my left side. From now on, I think to show that we are in unison, you should always be on my left." He tells her.

The Queen was hesitant with this. When a women is on man's left side, especially the king, it means something in the Lamia. It shows people some kind of significant relation. Most married couples, women sit next to the left of the man because it's the closest to his heart.

Maybe it's not that big of a deal for the Sphinx. She tells herself.

The queen sat down on his left side and she told herself it's not a big deal.
