Queen Lalisa sat in the middle of the couch with Princess Rose on her right and Jisoo on her left. All three were facing the two Sphinx.

The Queen herself was preserve. She is hardly like this but because of the stranger in her home, actually in her territory, she wasn't letting her guard down.

The memory of the 1 am banging on her bedroom door was fresh. Jisoo got an abrupt message from the Sphinx that one of them from the palace wanted a visit. Obviously the Queen was not quite keen to the idea but after two and half hours debating in the morning, Queen Lalisa decided she curious.

Princess Rose was completely against it but since she laid eyes on the second of command, she forgot why she was so against it.

"Your palace is beautiful." Jimin was the first break the silence.

Queen Lalisa nod her in appreciation of his compliments. "Thank you, my mother always cared for the interior." She smiles at Rose. "Unfortunately, I was horrible with that but luckily Rose has a knack for good taste."

Rose gave her a appreciative smile. "Thanks." She then turn her smile to Jimin. "I heard there are mainly men in your palace. Does your have a dark and dungy look? Or is a like bachelor pad?"

Queen Lalisa smiles falter a little and nudge the princess. Princess Rose turns to the queen with confusion.

There was a fit of laughter on the other side of the couch and both Jimin and V were bent over laughing.

Jisoo cleat her throat to get the men's attention. When V heard her he immediately came serious and straighten his posture.

"Umm, no. Our is lively like yours. King Jungkook has a cousin. She is our princess, Princess Jennie. She does a lot of the interior as well." Jimin explains to the three.

"Ahh yes Princess Jennie." Jisoo mind clicked.

"How long do you suppose you would stay?" Princess Rose was the one who ask.

"I believe our advisor told us you would not mind us staying tonight and leave tomorrow afternoon. Is that correct?" Jimin questions.

The Queen Lalisa and Jisoo both nods their head. "That is correct. We have two rooms ready for you." Jisoo tells them.

"Thank you for kind hospitality." Jimin thanks the Queen.

Jimin noticed the Queen was observing everything. Her eyes never left him and V and honestly Jimin thought it was smart to.

"Do you mind me asking for the abrupt need to visit us?" Queen Lalisa ask as she looks Jimin straight into his eyes.

Jimin never been intimated, only by the King. Jimin doesn't even know if it intimidation that's Jimin's feeling because he could feel the Queen would not harm unless it's necessary. The moment he heard her spoke, he can tell by her kind words she isn't a violence type.

But it was another type of feeling that he felt like he could be honest to her. and it's new to Jimin

"Something unusual has happen lately and it turns out you, the Lamia." Jimin gesture to the three curious ladies on the couch. "Are effected by it. King Jungkook, wanted to make sure that you understand that we had nothing to do with it." Jimin explain.

Jimin watched the Queen. Her facial expression stayed the same throughout Jimin reasoning for the visit. Her eyes filled with curiosity, her smile stayed glued, her posture was straight. He couldn't read her and he didn't know why.

Queen Lalisa knew she couldn't let her guard down in front of strangers. She obviously knew they were talking about the shipments but she wanted to see hit it effected them.

"What's the unusual things that has happen that your king is so worry about?" Queen Lalisa ask.

Jimin and V looks at each other confuse. "The prices of the shipments." Jimin turns back to the Queen. "Are you not having a pricing issue?"

Queen Lalisa turn to Jisoo and gave her subtle nod. All eyes were not on Jisoo.

"We are but are you not having the same problem?" Jisoo ask as her brows knitted together.

"Fortunately no." Jimin said.

"Ahh, yes fortunately for you." The two men now were looking at Princess Rose. She was throwing daggers with her eyes at Jimin and his insensitive words.

Jimin clutch his eyes for a second in fear and shame of his poor choice of words. "That's was wrong of me to say it in that way in front of you. My apologies Princess."

Princess Rose cross her arms in irritation. Both Jimin and V internally fear that they may ruin their stay.

"So what does your King want?" Queen Lalisa ask.

"Umm, King Jungkook, would like to invite you to our palace. He wants to make sure our two territories are still in peace." Jimin continues to explains.

"If that was the case, why didn't he come with you today?" Queen Lalisa ask.

Jimin wanted to speak but he knew he actually didn't have an answer that wouldn't offend the Queen.

"Exactly." The Queen stood up from her seat, startling both Jimin and V. "You are more than welcome to stay and you have my word that you are safe. But I suggest you prepare to tell your King that your mission to get the Queen to visit him, has failed." With that the Queen walks away up the stairs.

The remaining four were in complete surprise the change of atmosphere. Princess Rose stood up and bows to the two gentlemen.

"I apologize but I need to see my cousin." The princess said as she bows and left the room.

Jisoo smiles at the two. "Will you two continue to stay?" She ask.

"If we are still welcome." Jimin answers.

Jisoo stood up with a smile. "Follow me."

The two me stood up to follow the advisor. V was more than happy to be near the women. Before they could step out of the room a man appear in front of us.

His face was stern and held no emotion. His eyes briefly went to Jisoo then the two men.

"This is my royal guard, Jackson." Jisoo tells them who the hostile man was.

The men understood that she was left alone with two men that could potentially harm her, and he was just doing his job.

All guards should be the way he was, but V apparently was an exception.

They follow Jisoo up the stairs, as they went up the stairs, there pictures and scripts hung in frames.
Jimin eyes scan the pictures.

The Sphinx has the royal family over the last centuries hung but these pictures were not only just the royal family.

Jimin was looking over the pictures and he could see that these pictures were not staged like the royal photos.

They were beautiful.

"Lisa, considers the people in the towns and city of our's as family." Princess Rose voice startled Jimin.

Jimin looks at Rose with gentle eyes. "Your Queen is different from our King." Jimin states.

"Lisa is a kind soul. She rules with understanding and kindness." Princess Rose smiles falters a little at the end.

But it was so brief, Jimin question if he really saw it.

"The picture looks like they were taken in the moments." V said.

Both Jisoo and Rose chuckles at V words. "They were, Lisa is a amazing photographer."

Jimin eyes widen. "The Queen took these?" Jimin ask Rose.

Rose smiles and nods her head.

"Very different indeed." V mumbles behind Jimin.

"You make it sound like your King is heartless." A mysterious guy shows himself as he walks down a few steps.

Another man appears as well but he went beside Rose.

Both strangers had the same uniform on as Jackson but instead with a few more badges on them.

The one who spoke bow to Jimin.

"This is Jin, he is the Queen's royal guard." Jisoo introducrs

He bows to Jimin and V. "Nice to meet you." Jimin greets the broad shoulder man.

"Why didn't your king come to see us and send you?" Jin ask Jimin.

Jimin single brow raises at the man. He clearly has courage. "I am sure he has his reason."

"I'm sure there is one." Jin threw back.

"You know your very spoken for a guard." Jimin tells the main.

Jin's balled up his hand into a fist.

"Okay, I believe that's enough talk." Jisoo said as she got in between the two. Jisoo gestures down the hall. " Your room are in the those two room's there. We hope you see you for dinner in three hours."

Jisoo gave them a smile and push Jin away from Jimin. You can tell Jin was holding his spot but J hope and Jackson helped.

Meanwhile the two men are getting settled, Queen Lalisa, was in her garden. She was watching the beautiful flowers as she sat down.

Her skin was crawling with anger when she heard the Sphinx were not effected. She couldn't understand why her people were getting the short stick.

She felt a presence next to her and she knew it was her cousin, but she didn't care to see.

"Jin, you can go. I'm safe." Queen Lalisa tells her guard.

"Ma'am I don't think it's a good idea." Jin said.

Queen Lalisa sigh out of exhaustion. "Very well, just stand in the entry. I need a word with my cousin." She orders Jin.

A few minutes pass and Rose sat next to her. "What's wrong?" Rose ask.

"Am I doing this ruling thing right?"

"You are." Rose hates that her cousin is doubting herself. She held her cousin hand, "This whole thing isn't your fault. Something else is going on and we will find out what that is. And they will be punish."

"What if somebody is doing this prove I'm not fit to be a queen." Queen Lalisa ask her concern.

"You are fit, it is your birthright. I don't care what they do, you will find a find a solution and do your best." Rose comforts her.

Jisoo came in the garden as the two cousin were having a small conversation. She heard the doubt and care in her Queen voice.

Jisoo knee the Queen has a big heart but doesn't know how to express that part as a ruler. When Jimin said the King invited her to the palace, Jisoo she secretly hoped the queen would accept it.

She heard the King is a great leader because he was able to balance responsibility, fear and understanding. She thought the king would be a good influence on her.

And the other reason, well it's sin to think it but she secretly wonder what would happen if the Lamia and Sphinx became one. Would Lisa finally stop doubting herself and become stronger?

"Jisoo, we can hear you breathing and the hamster in your head. What's is going on in your head?" Rose yells out grabbing Jisoo attention.

Jisoo slowly walk up to the two and sat down on the other side of the Queen.

"I didn't mean to intrude." Jisoo apologizes.

"You didn't. This is why you should be here. Help me and advise me." Lisa tells her. "So what is it you think I should do?" Both Lisa and Rose eyes are on Jisoo.

Jisoo gave them a sheepish smile. "Well I think we should hear out why the King want us to go there personally first. And then from there, Queen Lalisa, you would know what to do."

Jisoo eyes went to Rose, and they both smile at each other. They knew the Queen will be great if she just believes in herself a little more.
