Third Person P.O.V

Most citizens of the city of Quishan would be asleep this early in the morning. The sun was just beginning to rise on the mostly deserted streets, and aside from the occasional merchant setting up shop, you wouldn't find many people on the streets.

So, maybe that's why the (H/c) haired girl received stares from the few who were normally out at this time. Maybe they just didn't expect to see a young girl out on the streets this early.

But the girl knew better. People stared for a much different reason. The thing that always seemed to drag attention towards her were the chains clamped around her ankles. 

Wherever she walked, the clanking sound of metal followed. Her chains always dragging a few feet behind her, a permanent reminder of what she would remain the rest of her life.

(A/n)- Sorry this chapter's so short. I just wanted to give a little more a preview. The next chapters will be much longer, I swear. Anyways, I hope this wasn't too boring, and I'm really excited to write the rest of the story! Anyways, see ya in the next chapter!
