** Okay, I know I'm a little late for Avi's birthday and a little early for Adam's, so I thought I'd tried to get some of it written with this chapter and the rest in the next couple of chapters.

(Saturday morning)

"How do I look?" Kevin asks as he walks into the dining room where the others were eating breakfast.

"Sexy." Tim chuckles.

"I'm serious." Kevin laughs.

"Ok, maybe sexy wasn't the right word. How about, you look very nice." Tim laughs.

"Shut up, Tim." Kirstie laughs as she walks over to Kevin and straightens his collar. "You are sexy, Kevin.

Patch clears his throat loudly.

"Ok, maybe sexy wasn't the right word." Kirstie giggles. "How about, you look very handsome."

"You nervous?" Jenika asks with a smile.

"No, not really." Kevin says, shaking his head.

"We'll ask again when she rings the doorbell." Tim says as he takes a sip of his coffee.

"Am I going to freak her out?" Patch asks with a smile.

"I'll explain everything to her." Kevin laughs. "Don't worry about it buddy."

"Uh, Kevin? Can I talk to you for a minute?" Tim asks, standing up and reaching for his crutches.

"Yeah, sure." Kevin answers and follows Tim into the living room. "So what's up?"

"You know today is Patch's birthday, right?" Tim asks.

"Oh my, God. That's right. Guess I'll call Tori and can..." Kevin sighs but Tim interrupts him.

"You'll do no such thing." Tim says. "The plan is, Kirstie is gonna take Patch and Emily out shopping and some sight seeing. While she is keeping him busy, Jenika and I are gonna get things together for a bar-b-que tonight. He loves bbq and he loves birthday cake. But I'd like for you and Tori to come maybe bout 6:30, if possible? Kirstie is supposed to have Patch here by 7:00."

"I wouldn't miss his actual first birthday party for nothing." Kevin smiles. "What about Little Bits?"

"A party is a party to him. He doesn't even know what a birthday is. So, Adam's birthday is this weekend. I thought maybe we could have a double birthday party with balloons and the works." Tim smiles.

"That would be awesome." Kevin chuckles. "Patch doesn't realize what today is, right?"

"Nope, he doesn't have a clue." Tim smiles.

"He'll be so surprised." Kevin chuckles. "I'll get him something while I'm out today."

"Yeah, we have to get him something too." Tim says.

Their conversation was interrupted by the doorbell.

Tim laughs at Kevin's panicked face.

"Now, are you nervous?" Tim laughs.

"Petrified." Kevin says, laying a hand on his chest.

Kirstie had gone upstairs to get Emily ready leaving Patch and Adam downstairs alone.

Patch goes to answer the door. He opens the door to a smiling Tori.

"Hey, Sweetie." She smiles. "My. You are looking very sharp today." 

Patch had his hair fixed neatly into a man bun and was dressed very differently from what Patches would normally wear.

Patch smiles and hangs his head. He realizes that Tori thinks that she is talking to Patches.

"Mowning, Mith Towy." Adam says as he walks up behind Patch. (Morning, Miss Tori)

"Good morning, Sweetheart." Tori says with a smile. "I was just telling Patches how nice he looks."

"Oh, dat's not Patches. Dat's Patch." Adam says, shaking his head. (that)

"What?" Tori asks, completely confused. "So Patches has a twin?"

"No. Day da same person." Adam answers. (They're the)

"What?" Tori asks, even more confused.

"Good morning, Tori." Tim smiles as he comes from the living room. "Kevin has gone upstairs to get his wallet."

"I think I may have totally confused her." Patch chuckles.

Tori watches the bearded man sign something to Tim and Tim chuckles.

"That I wouldn't doubt." Tim answers and then turns to Tori. "I can see that you're a little confused."

"Uh, more than a little." Tori smiles.

"I'm sure Kevin will explain all of our oddities to you." Tim chuckles as Kevin comes galloping down the stairs.

"Wow, don't you look nice." Tori smiles.

"I think you mean, sexy." Tim smirks and gives Kevin a wink before heading back to the living room. "Oh and Kevin, don't forget."

"I won't." Kevin smiles.

"Bye Mith Towy. Bye Kebin. See yall waiter." Adam waves as he follows Tim.

"Bye Sweetie." Tori calls out to him.

"Have fun and behave yourself." Patch says with a chuckle. "I'm sure you have a lot of explaining to do too. She's a little confused. She thinks I'm Patches."

"Don't worry. I'll explain everything. You, Kirstie and Emily have fun today." Kevin smiles.

Patch nods to Tori and then heads upstairs to where Kirstie and Emily were.

"You ready?" Kevin asks with a smile.

"Yeah. But you have a lot of explaining to do, Buddy." Tori says as she pokes Kevin in the chest. "Cause I think I just made a fool out of myself."

Kevin and Tori left for their date. Patch, Kirstie and Emily came down the stairs, excited about spending the day together as a family.

Jenika was busy making a list of things that she and Tim needed to pick up for this bbq for Patch. Tim and Adam sat in the living room watching t.v., Tim knew he would have to explain to Adam what was going on because he catches on to things very quickly.

"Sweetheart, are you ready? I just had to tell Jenika a few things to get at the store." Kirstie smiles as she glances down at Tim. Kind of a secret code look.

Patch nods as he picks up his daughter. She was dressed in a little yellow sundress with matching hat and sandals. 

"Y'all have fun." Tim smiles.

"We will. See yall later." Kirstie waves as they leave.

Adam gives a loud huff as he droops his shoulders.

"What's wrong?" Tim laughs.

"Eber one is habing pun but us." He pouts. (everyone is having fun)

"That's because we have something very special to do today." Tim says. "Can you keep a secret?"

"Uh huh." Adam grins and moves closer to Tim.

"Today is Patch's birthday." Tim smiles as he brushes Adam's hair behind his ear.

"It's his birdday?" Adam whispers, his eyes full of excitement. (birthday)

"Yep, we have to go get him a present. And we're going to have him a cookout tonight. He doesn't know about it so you can't say a word to him, alright?" Tim smiles.

"Otay, my whips are sealed." Adam says as he pretends to zip his mouth closed. "But don't dat mean it's Patches's birdday too?" (Okay, lips, that, birthday)

"Yes, it does." Tim chuckles at how smart Adam really is. "But we'll have a party for him later."

Jenika smiles as she stands in the doorway, watching the 'father and son' talk.

"You boys ready?" She asks, really hating to disturb the sweet moment. "We have a lot to do."

"Jen Jen, today is Patch's birdday." Adam says with a huge smile.

"I know." Jenika giggles. "We have to go get him a cake."

"Den whad are we doing thitting hea? We need to go. It takes a vewy wong time to bake a birdday cake." Adam says jumping up from the couch.
