After helping Tim up, they all gather round congratulating the newly engaged couple. Jenika could not stop smiling and admiring the beautiful ring.

Adam was overjoyed. He felt as if he was getting a mom and dad.

"K..Kit?" Patches says getting on his knees the way he saw Tim do. The others froze at his actions. "M..Mar me." He smiles and nods. (marry me)

Kirstie put the hands over her mouth as her eyes fill with tears. She knew this wasn't her lover and that he had no idea what he was saying.

"Naaa ing." He says shaking his head as he pats his pocket. (No ring)

"Awww, my precious little angel." Kirstie says, taking his face in her hands. She leans over and kisses him on the forehead before hugging him tightly. "I love you so much."

"K. Mmm pay bee." He giggles as he jumps up and starts to play with Satchmo.

"I don't undertan." Adam says. (understand)

"What don't you understand, Sweetie?" Tim asks.

"Can Patches weally mawee Ms Kit?" Adam asks with a puzzled look on his face. (really, marry)

"No, Patches couldn't. He was more or less just mocking what I did." Tim answers. "I don't think he really understood what he was doing."

"But whad about Mista Patch?" Adam asks. (what, Mister)

"Well, I'm not sure. It's possible I guess but there would have to be a lot of legal stuff taken care of first." Tim says.

"Are you alright?" Kevin asks as he rubs Kirstie on the back.

"Yeah. I guess." She says sadly. "It'll never happen will it Kevin?"

Kevin shrugs and pulls her into a hug.

She blinks away her tears as she sees Tim and Jenika standing with sad expressions on their faces.

"Hey." She smiles pulling away from Kevin's hug. "What's with the sad faces. YOU'RE ENGAGED!!"

Jenika's face lightens in a smile as Kirstie grabs her in a hug. Tim smiles but the smile doesn't reach his eyes. 

Kirstie had gone out of her way to help them in so many ways. From babysitting to helping Tim pick out the perfect ring. There had to be something he could do to pay her back.

"Tim?" Kirstie says to bring him out of his thoughts. "You alright?"

"Yeah." He answers giving her another fake smile.

"Don't let it bother you." She says softly. "I'm Okay with it. I'm happy."

It was like she had read his mind.

"I'm even more happier because my two best friends are getting married." She adds with a huge smile.

"Yeah, I can't believe I actually made it through it without passing out." Tim chuckles.

"You did great and it was perfect." Kirstie smiles as she gives him a hug. "And I don't know who picked out that ring but they have awesome taste."

"Don't they though." Tim laughs. "Thanks again. I couldn't have done it without you."

"Hey y'all? Whad dis?" Adam shouts as he points to something on the beach. (whats this)

Jenika grabs Tim by the hand and pulls him toward where Adam and Patches were squatted down on the beach. 

"Don't you boys touch it until we see what it is." Kirstie calls out to them as she and Kevin also head that way.

"Ohhh, look it's a jellyfish." Jenika says squatting down next to the boys but still holding Tim's hand.

"Mmm pis?" Patches asks looking down at the small clear blob. (fish)

"Is dat where delly come fwom?" Adam asks. (Is that where jelly come from)

"No, Honey." Kirstie laughs. "They're called jellyfish because they look like jelly."

Jenika touches the small jellyfish.

"I think it's dead." She comments.

"Can we touch it?" Adam asks.

"Be careful. Touch it where I did, O.K.?" Jenika says.

"Ewe." Adan says after touching it.

Patches reaches down and touches it, jerking his hand back quickly and giggles.

Tim chuckles and then looks down the beach. His eyes taking notice of a  male couple walking slowly up the beach holding hands.

He squints his eyes thinking one of the two men looked familiar. He gets his glasses that were hanging on the front of his tee shirt and slips them on.

He looks around at the couple and his eyes widen.

"Oh Sh*t." Tim says, louder than he meant too.

"Tim." Jenika scolds.

"Uh." Tim says quickly looking back at the nearing couple.

Jenika's eyes follow his.

"Oh my God." She mumbles as she stands up.

"Tim? Is that you?" One of the males asks with a huge smile.

"Hey, How's it going?" Tim asks as the man grabs him into a hug.

"Oh, it's going great. Man, you're looking good." The man says stepping back taking a look at Tim. "How's your leg?"

"It's alright. What ...What are you doing here?" Tim asks.

"Believe it or not, I'm on my honeymoon." The man laughs as he reaches for the smaller man's hand. "Tim, this is my husband, Austin."

"Pleased to me you." Austin smiles as he shakes Tim's hand. Tim smiles and nods a hello.

"Jenika, you're still as beautiful as ever." The man says.

"Why thank-you, Chance." Jenika smiles as she wraps her arms around Tim's arm.

Kevin's eyes grow at the mention of the man's name.

"Hey, I know you." Adam says.

"Oh my God." Chance smiles and looks at Tim. "Is this Adam?"

"Yep." Tim smiles and nods. "That's my little buddy."

"You just missed it, Chance." Jenika gives somewhat of an evil smile and holds up her left hand. "Tim just proposed."

"Really?" Chance smiles as he looks at Tim. "That's awesome."

"Took me long enough, right? Tim chuckles.

Kirstie clears her throat.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Tim laughs. "Uh, Chance this is our best friends and neighbors. Kirstie and Kevin. And the one in the snapback is their little buddy, Patches."

Tim smiles and winks at Patches when he introduced him causing Patches to giggle and hang his head.

Chance notices the child-like actions of the bearded guy.

"So, is he like Adam?" Chance asks.

"Yeah, only younger." Tim answers looking down at Patches playing in the sand.

"So, are you guys married?" Chance asks, turning his attention to Kirstie and Kevin.

"Who? Us?" Kirstie asks.

"Mhmm." Chance nods.

"No." Kirstie giggles.

"Lord, No." Kevin answers with a chuckle. "We're not romantically involved. Kirstie is my best friend." 

"Oh, Sorry." Chance smiles.

"So, how long have the two of you known each other?" Kirstie asks with a smile.

"A long time." Tim answers with a small smile.

"Yea, Tim and I go way back. Even before he met Jenika." Chance says.

"I thaw you at da hospidal. You came to thee Tim." Adam says as if he just remembered. (I saw you at the hospital. You came to see Tim)

"Yea, I did. As a matter of fact, that was the last time we've seen each other." Chance smiles.

"And you k.." Adam was interrupted quickly by Chance.

"Well, Austin. We need to hurry if we're going to get to our reservation on time." Chance says quickly. "Tim, it was good seeing you and Jenika again. And it was a pleasure meeting you guys."

"Same." Kirstie smiles.

"Bye." Austin calls out as he was quickly pulled away.

"Dat was vewy wude." Adam huffs, crossing his arms over his chest with Patches mocking him. "He intawupted me." "(that was very rude. He interrupted me)

"Wu." Patches nods. (rude)
