Kevin opens the bus door. Adam, Mack and Satchmo are the first to escape and run toward the white sand.

"ADAM! STAY OUT OF THE WATER." Jenika yells as she, Kirstie and Emily exit the bus. Kirstie trying her best to put a sun hat on her excited child.

Kevin exits, stretching his back and looking out at the sparkling body of water.

"I think we've been abandoned." Tim chuckles as he and Patch make their way through the empty bus, grabbing his cane on the way.

Patch exists the bus then reaches for Tim's arm to help him down the steps.

"Thanks." Tim smiles as he puts his feet on the ground. "Steps can be a little tricky."

"I'll take it from here Patch." Jenika smiles as she slips her arm around Tim's waist. "Your lady awaits."

Patch looks out on the beach and smiles at the sight of his girlfriend and their daughter.

Kevin and Adam had already started a game of frisbee with Satchmo and Mack.

"Are you okay?" Jenika asks as she notices the sad look in Tim's eyes as he watches Patch run out to be with his family.

"What? Uh, No. I'm fine." Tim says with a smile.

"You sure?" Jenika asks, still not convinced.

"Yea, come on. Let's join the others." Tim says as he drapes his arm over her shoulder.

Patch taps Kirstie on the shoulder to get her attention then points to a Lighthouse just down the beach, a little ways.

"What is that?" He asks.

"That's a Lighthouse. At night it shines a light to help keep ships from running aground or during storms." Kirstie tries to explain.

"Can we go in it?" Patch asks with a smile.

"We can go check." Kirstie smiles taking his hand. She then turns to the others. "Hey guys, Patch is wanting to go to that lighthouse."

"COOL!" Adam shouts as he starts to run in that direction.

"HEY, KIDDO! YOU NEED TO WAIT ON US!" Tim shouts out to him.

Adam stops immediately at the sound of Tim's voice.

"Gosh, he minds you so well." Kirstie laughs. "If that had been Patches, he would have giggled and run faster."

"Have you ever had to discipline him?" Kevin asks.

"No." Tim shakes his head. "He's always minded me really well. I've never had to tell him to do something twice."

They finally reach the lighthouse, the keeper tells them that they were more than welcome to go inside.

"I think I'll wait down here." Kevin smiles. "I'm not that keen on heights."

"Think I'll join you, Kevin." Tim laughs. "I'm not that keen on steps."

"Can I go?" Adam asks.

"Sure, Sweetie. You can go with Jenika, Patch and Kirstie." Tim smiles. "Kirst? You want me to hold Emily?"

"If you don't mind, Tim. She's awfully squirmy to take up there." Kirstie giggles as she hands Emily over to Tim. 

"Adam, you hold on to Jenika's hand, alright?" Tim tells him.

"Okay." Adam smiles as he takes hold of Jenika's hand.

"Y'all ready?" Patch asks as he takes Kirstie's hand.

Kevin and Tim keep the dogs outside with them. Both lay panting in the shade of the lighthouse.

"Wow! Look at all da tares." Adam giggles. His voice echoing up into the lighthouse. (the stairs)

"This is pretty cool." Patch says as they make their way up the spiral staircase.

"This is definitely a workout." Jenika says with a heavy breath.

"I hear ya, I'm glad I left Emily with Tim and Kevin." Kirstie laughs. "I don't think I could have climbed these steps with her.

"Tim woulda neva made it." Adam huffs. "It hot in hea too." (would have never, here)

"Finally!" Jenika says as they reach the top.

They walk out on the platform that circled the lighthouse.

Patch nervously reaches for the railing as he cautiously walks up to the edge.

"You alright?" Kirstie asks when she notices his nervousness.

"Yea. It's a lot higher up than it looks from the ground." He says as he looks over the railing.

"Hey, good looking!" Jenika shouts down to Tim.

"You talking to me." Kevin laughs as he and Tim look up, both having to shield their eyes from the sun.

"You are quite handsome, Kevin! But I'm talking to my good looking boyfriend beside you!" Jenika shouts again.

"HI, TIM! HI, MR. KEBIN!" Adam shouts and waves.

"Yall be careful up there!" Tim shouts up to them.

After a few snapshots, they decided it was time to come down and head to the beach house.

Emily had already fallen asleep in Tim's arms with her head laying on his shoulder and her arm around his neck.

Patch carefully takes Emily from Tim, being successful in not waking her up.

Kirstie giggles at the drool stain on Tim's shirt. "Sorry about that."

"I'm not gonna have any clean shirts left if we don't hurry up and get to the house." Tim laughs, looking at the wet stain.

Jenika drives the rest of the way to give Kevin a break. 

They had called ahead and had a rental van reserved. After picking up the van, they headed to the beach house.

The house was beautiful. Painted a light blue for a beachy feel. Four bedrooms (one downstairs, three upstairs), two and a half baths. A walkway leading from the back deck straight to their own private beach.

Tim and Kevin begin to unload the RV while Patch, Kirstie and Jenika carry everything in. Adam along with Satchmo and Mack check out the place.

After getting everything unpacked and settled in, they gather on the back deck to relax and enjoy the view.

Tim takes a drink of his beer as he keeps a close eye on Adam playing on the beach.

"He misses Patches." Patch says.

"Probably. But he has Satch and Mack." Tim says.

"Well, I'm sure Patches will be back very soon." Patch says as he sips his tea.

"Tonight?" Kirstie asks. She loved Patches with all her heart but she loved spending time with her lover, too.

"I'm thinking, maybe in the morning. I'm not feeling any change right now." Patch says smiling at her.

"Well, in that case." Kirstie says as she stands up and hands Emily to Kevin. "Kevin, do you mind keeping an eye on her for a bit. I'm going to enjoy what little time I have left with my boyfriend." 

Kevin laughs as he takes the little girl.

Kirstie giggles as she grabs Patch by the hand and starts to lead him into the house.

"Use protection!" Tim laughs.
