Tim and Jenika tell Kirstie and Kevin about Chris getting a job in California and giving them full guardianship of Adam.

"Wow, that had to be a very hard decision to make." Kevin says as he sips his tea.

"Yea, I'm sure it was. But it gives him the satisfaction of knowing that if anything were to happen to him that Adam will be taken care of and won't end up in a mental hospital." Tim says.

"Chris still has a lot of say-so, being Adam's older brother, but it gives us more solid ground too." Jenika adds.

"I'm so glad it's all working out for all of you, including Chris." Kirstie smiles.

"We're supposed to go in front of the judge tomorrow to sign the papers. Then Chris is going to take him to an arcade to spend some time with him before he heads off to California." Tim says.

"Adam still can't get it through his head that he will still be a Rupp and not a Foust." Jenika giggles.

"I know this is probably really rude of me and very impolite." Tim smiles. "But you think I might could have a sandwich or something."

"Oh my gosh. Of course. I'm so sorry, I'm such a poor host." Kirstie chuckles as she gets up to go to the refrigerator.

"I just can't remember the last I ate anything." Tim smiles. "Or slept."

"The last thing you ate was breakfast, yesterday morning. Then after Adam left you got sick. And you haven't slept in over 24 hours." Jenika says.

"No wonder I'm so tired." Tim chuckles.

Jenika gets up to help Kirstie make sandwiches for everyone.

"Y'all know what we need?" Tim asks closing his tired blood-shot eyes.

"What's that?" Kevin smiles at the exhausted man.

"We need another vacation." Tim says rubbing his stiff neck.

"Oh heck yeah." Kirstie giggles from her place near the counter.

"Where do y'all want to go?" Jenika asks.

"Anywhere but here." Tim smiles.

"Tim, we hungy." Adam says as he and Patches come in from outside. (hungry)

"You boys are just in time, we're making some sandwiches." Kirstie smiles. "But y'all need to go wash your hands.

The boys run to the bathroom giggling.

"Why don't we let them decide where we go on vacation?" Kevin smiles.

"That'll work." Tim says.

The girls are setting the sandwiches on the table as the boys come back into the kitchen and sit down.

"Hey, guys?" Kirstie starts. "Would y'all like to go on another vacation?"

"YEAH!" Adam says loudly.

Patches nods his head.

"O.K.? Would you like to go to the mountains or to the beach?" Tim asks.

"Mmm bee. Ti." Patches nods and pats Tim on the arm even though he already had his attention. "Ti, mmm bee." (beach, Tim)

Tim smiles at the cuteness of the excited bearded man. "We have one vote for the beach. Adam?"

Adam was sitting quietly trying to decide.

"I tank da mountains aw purdy but I tank I wanna go back to da beach." Adam smiles and nods. (I think the mountains are pretty but I think I want to go back to the beach)

"Any objections?" Tim says looking at the others. They laugh and shake their heads. "Well, if there are no objections, looks like we're going to the beach."

The boys clap with excitement and jumps up from the table.

"But not right now." Jenika laughs. "We have to make plans and get things ready."

The boys sit back down with sad faces.

"Besides, we have court tomorrow, remember?" Tim asks looking at Adam.

"Oh yeah." Adam smiles. "I porgot." (forgot)

"Mmm bee, Ti." Patches pouts, looking at Tim with tears in his eyes.

"Aww, Patches. Don't do this to me, Sweetie." Tim says as he rubs Patches' cheek, his heart melting. "We are going to the beach, maybe in a couple of days. There are just things that we have to do first. Do you understand?"

Patches shakes his head no and sticks out his bottom lip, laying his head over on Tim's shoulder.

"Okay, he's bringing out the big guns." Tim says looking at Kirstie. "You can jump in at any time and help me out here?"

Kirstie laughs as she gets up from the table and comes around and stoops down beside Patches' chair.

"Angel, look at me." She says softly. Patches raises his head from Tim's shoulder and looks around at her. "There's things we have to do first. You remember that big car that we went in the last time that had all the beds? (Patches nods) Well, we have to get one of those. And we have to find a place to stay. Jenika and I will have to get the plans made. Just like we did last time. Understand? But I promise that we'll get it all done as soon as possible so we can go."

Patches smiles and nods.

"Patches? You wanna go codor?" Adam asks as they finish their sandwiches. (color)

Patches nods and stands up. 

"Mmm bee mar." He smiles and nods before giggling and running to catch up with Adam. (beach, tomorrow)

They all laugh and shake their heads.

"I'm going to the bathroom." Jenika says, leaning and kissing Tim on the cheek.

Kirstie watches as she walks out of the room.

"I love the beach. It's such a romantic place." Kirstie says with a smirk. "Don't you think so, Tim?"

"I'm way ahead of you there, Kirst." Tim smiles with a wink.

Kevin glances between the two with a confused look.
