Mumbo has spent the majority of his day working on Grumbot, making sure Grumbot wouldn't say anything strange or weird to Grian if Grian were to visit. He knew what he was doing might not be the best, but he needed someone to talk with that wouldn't tell Xisuma and well right now every single person in the server would tell Xisuma or try to straight up murder Grian.

Mumbo is a mess his hair isn't staying in place, and he's messed up the wiring to Grumbot once already, and he's pretty sure if he loses focus, he will mess things up again. His fingers drum nervously against a block. He took a deep breath as he tried to calm his nerves. "I'm fine, I'm fine. It's alright, Mumbo, you are fine.." he mumbled to himself.

He slowly walked away from Grumbots wiring to calm himself. His Redstone covered fingers running through his hair. He made his way to the front of Grumbot, noticing he's not online, which was probably for the best. He didn't need to see his dad like this. He walked around a bit, looking at the fake scenery that him and Grian put around to keep Grumbot happy. "Gosh, I shouldn't be doing this..." He mumbled to himself again. He felt crazy. This whole thing felt crazy to him.

It's Mumbo a while before he finally calmed himself down he didn't know how many times he ran his fingers through his hair, his hair most likely  would glow if it got a Redstone signal to it. "Gosh, I'm just chuffed to bits at the moment, and I don't know what to do!" He yelled at himself. He ended up kicking a rock in frustration, which skipped a good foot away. "I swear I can't think of anything right, I'm doing everything so wrong, and I have no one to talk to!" Mumbo screamed to no one as he looked up at the sky with tears in his eyes.

I'm sorry this took so long to come out, I genuinely had no clue what to post, and I really love this fic, but it's like 4 years old now and I'm not done. I will keep working on it for my own sanity, but chapters are going to be shorter, I really do love having the 1000 words for a chapter but that's taking a lot out of me and this story is at 33 chapters, the plan was 30 at most, the new plam is get to like 45 or 55ish with shorter chapters.
