Going back for the second time
You know you're healthy when you stand up and your vision goes black, your eyes start ringing and your head goes all dizzy. I blame exams!

Jungkook's P.O.V
It's been two weeks since I last saw him but he has grown 2 years older in that time. His chubby body has formed into a tall and lanky one. The few muscles he gained from the hard work are hidden underneath the dirty white shirt he's currently wearing while plowing the field. The sun is one its highest and I can see his face shine from the droplets of sweat that fall from his tan face. His scent gets multiplied by this, making my wolf howl from need but I control myself. He's a sixteen year old boy now. Only two more years until he'll see the truth.
I finally step onto their property after admiring him from a distance. I know his mother isn't home. Taehyung told me last time that she visits the city every two weeks. His grandmother died last time I spoke to him. He cried into my shoulder while talking about her. I remember it vividly but for him it's only a fading memory.
"Taehyung!", I yell when I step into view. The horse that was pulling the plow stops abruptly hearing my voice, resulting into Taehyung falling face first into the earth.
"Aish this kid", I roll my eyes, running over to him. I grab his arms and pull him back up to his feet. Taehyung sneezes a few times and spits out dirt, sticking out his tongue in disgust. He rubs his eyes and groans lightly, stomping my chest.
"You need to stop appearing like that or I'll get a heart attack next time for sure", he whines while I dust off his shirt, feeling tingles every time our bodies make contact.
"Sorry", I chuckle nervously, "I was just excited to see you that's all".
"Well yeah because it's been two years!", he yells while throwing his arms around me, placing his head in the crook of my neck, "That's a long time to miss your best friend, you know?"
I smile at his behavior and hug him back, easily sliding my arms around his small waist. He doesn't get too eat a lot I notice, he's too skinny.
"So what brings you here?", he asks when letting me go.
"You of course, what else?", I wink, grabbing his hand in mine and pulling him down onto the grass, "What have you been doing these two years?"
He ponders for a moment, cupping his face in his hands while thinking hard.
"Not much. Some people in the nearby town got murdered and they're still looking for the killer. It's kinda spooky someone just goes around killing people, shredding them to pieces", he mumbles, biting on his lip in thought, "My mom told me to lock all the doors when she's gone. But I like going out at night to stargaze".
I furrow my eyebrows, looking at the way he stares off into nothing. He still doesn't know he's a werewolf? His mother should know by now. Someone of his parents should have been a werewolf and he's changing every full moon. I don't want to tell him he's the one shredding people to pieces. He's blocking it all out and I don't want to bring it back up.
"You're tan now", I notice, pointing at the slightly brown skin. He pouts while examining his arms.
"Yeah I hate it but there's nothing I can do about it. I need to work outside in the sun otherwise we'll get no money. People in the city dislike tan people. They are very white which is apparently a symbol of beauty", he mumbles. I frown at his words.
I gently grab his chin and lift it up to meet my eyes, "You're beautiful Taehyung, no skin color can change that".
I release the hold and smile when his face begins heating up. A faint blush spreading on his cheeks accompanied by the ducking of his head to hide it.
"Thank you", he mumbles embarrassed and I chuckle at it.
"You're welcome".
He dares to look up again, curiosity shining in his eyes, "How's your life Kookie? Did you marry someone? Do you have a kid?"
I let out a breathy laugh, "I'm too young to marry".
"But aren't you like twenty?", he points out, "Most men are married already by then".
"I'm twenty one yes", I shrug, "But I have no intention to marry someone so early on in life".
"Early on? You're almost half already", he questions.
I slap myself mentally. I forgot the dying age is much lower here. People barely make it to fifty.
"Yeah but I still feel young", I make up, "And besides no one wants to marry me".
He flails his arms around with wide eyes, "I bet hundreds of girls are waiting in line for you!"
I ruffle his hair while laughing, "Who said I want to marry a girl?"
He drops his arms and tilts his head, "Who else would you marry? My cat is still single but she doesn't like humans".
I roll my eyes. Gay marriage isn't legal here, it's even forbidden in this century but I want to know what Taehyung thinks about it. He's destined to mate with a man but does he want to?
"What about a man?", I say, seeing his eyes widen and mouth fall agape.
"You can't marry a man. The priests would exorcise you!"
"Okay maybe I can't marry one, but I can love one", I smile, "Don't you think that's possible?"
He bites his bottom lip again, a habit he has while thinking. I wonder how it feels to have those soft lips against mine. Just two more years.
"Maybe... Are you gay Kookie?", he stares at me with his big brown eyes.
"I don't know. I guess I like pretty things, doesn't matter if they're male or female".
He nods while being in thought again. I notice the sun has moved since I've gotten here and it's already late in the afternoon.
"I should go", I jump up, looking for a place where I could disappear without him noticing. The corn fields are gone in this time of the year and the fields are all empty.
I hear him get up too as he clings onto my arm, hugging it tightly.
"Don't leave"
I hear the way his voice cracks and how the words sound softer than I've ever heard his voice before. I turn to look at him and see droplets of water running down his cheek.
"Hey", I say softly, wiping away the tears, "I'll come back and when I do, I promise you I'll have a surprise".
"A surprise?", he croaks out, snuggling his head against my shoulder.
"You'll see", I ruffle his faded brown hair and lift his chin up, pecking his forehead.
"Do I have to wait for years again?", he mumbles, sniffing lightly.
"It's for the best", I smile sympathically, "I need to go now but here-"
I take out the necklace which I bought yesterday at the store. It reminded me of him and it'll give him something to remember me. It's a white necklace with a pink stone formed as the sign of Omega. He doesn't know what it stands for but he'll come to know of it soon.
"This is for you", I hang it around his head, the stone falling on the space next to his heart.
"I'll always be there", I put my hand on his chest, "And I want you to know that".
He grabs the stone in his hand and nods his head. I know he isn't saying anything because he fears he'll start crying. I smile at him, "I'll be back. I promise".
