"Seungbi has a date in an hour! Make sure everything is perfect!" Seungkwan yelled.
"She's already perfect! Everything's fine." Vernon yelled back.
You blushed slightly. "Guys calm down. He's a good guy, and please don't scare him and bombard him with questions all at once."
Jeonghan smiled. "Understood."
"Seungbi, do you like Jihun?" Soonyoung asked
"Of course I like Jihun. He's one of my friends." You replied.
"Like as a boyfriend?" Vernon asked.
You shrugged. "I don't think so. I feel pretty normal around him."
"Good." Soonyoung, Jihoon, and Vernon all said at the same time.
You tilted your head. "Why do you ask?"
Soonyoung headed to the kitchen. "No reason."
You sighed. "Okay?"
"Where is Jihun taking you, Seungbi?" Seungcheol asked, taking a sip out of his water bottle.
"I think he said he was taking me to a restaurant, then he has a surprise for me." You told him, making him nearly choke on his water.
"What kind of surprise?" He asked, slightly startled.
You laughed and headed for the kitchen. "Definitely not what you're thinking."
When you walked into the kitchen, you found Soonyoung staring at the table, and he didn't even look up at you, so you sat down next to him. "What's wrong?"
He looked up at you, and his eyes looked sad. "Nothing, why?"
"Soonyoung, you're upset, I can tell."
"I'm just worried about you going on this date, just like everyone else." He replied.
You sighed and grabbed his hand, taking him to the living room with everyone else. "Sit down." You told him. "Let's play a game while we're waiting for Jihun."
You played a few games together, and it only took about twenty minutes for the door bell to ring. The boys started squealing, making you sigh.
"I'll get the door." You said.
You walked over to the door and opened it, revealing a smiling Jihun. "Seungbi, you look stunning, as always."
"Thank you, Jihun. My friends want to meet you, is that okay?" You asked.
"Absolutely."
You stepped aside so he could walk in, and Seungcheol signaled to the chair in the middle of the room, so Jihun sat down while you stood behind him. Everyone asked what they wanted to ask, and your brother was last.
"What are your intentions with Seungbi, Jihun?"
You smiled at your brothers question, waiting for Jihun's answer. "In the future, I would love to make her my girlfriend, and take care of her."
You went wide-eyed when he said he wanted you to be his girlfriend; you weren't sure if you liked him like that.
"That was a good answer, Jihun. Seungbi has curfew at midnight, so please have her back here before then."
Jihun nodded and got up, heading for the door. "It was nice meeting you all. I promise to take care of her." He smiled.
You got up and waved to everyone, following him out of the house. Jihun grabbed your hand and you suddenly got butterflies. When he was complimenting you, you thought he was just being nice, but the physical contact with him made you feel something towards him that you didn't think you would.
When you looked up at the vehicle parked by the curb, you gasped. "Jihun, a limo wasn't necessary."
"Of course it was. I'm gonna make this a night you'll remember."
You got into the limo and started talking about everything and anything, and soon, you pulled up to the restaurant. Jihun grabbed your hand and walked you into the restaurant. You watched his profile as he walked you inside, and you wondered if you could fall for Jihun.
"Seungbi and Jihun?" The man at the front asked.
Jihun smiled. "Yes, sir."
A woman took you to your seats, and you made conversation while you waited. "So, why do you live with all those men?" He asked.
"They're all my best friends. They took me in when a bunch of stuff went down with my parents." You told him, a slight twist in your chest.
You still haven't talked about losing your adoption parents.
"Are they weird with you?"
You almost laughed. "No, of course not."
"Just making sure." He smiled.
You looked around the restaurant and noticed that no one else was there. "Why are we the only ones here?" You asked.
"I rented the place out for us."
"Wait, what?"
"Like I said, I wanted to make this a night you would remember."
You smiled and the waitress came around. She looked super young, but she was wearing fairly provocative clothes. "Hello, there. What can I get for you guys?"
You noticed how she was giving you a dirty look, but you both ordered. She started to lean in towards Jihun, but you put your hand out.
"You can leave now." You snapped, so she scoffed and walked off. "Do girls usually hit on you like this?"
"Unfortunately, but don't worry about it. I come here with my family all the time, she's only sixteen and she acts like that towards me, even when my parents are around." He scoffed. "But you, I didn't know someone's expression could get so dark so quick, or that someone's reflexes could be so fast."
You laughed nervously. "So, I've been told."
"Hey," he said. "I like you, and it makes me happy that you did that."
Your heart was racing and he barely did anything; were you suddenly falling for him?
"Jihun?"
"Yeah?"
"I think I like you too."
You avoided eye contact with him, but you got the courage to look up at him, and when you did, he had a big smile on his face.
"I'll give this to you now, then." He said pulling a red velvet box out of his pocket. "I was going to give this to you, even if you didn't like me back, but I think now is a good time to give it to you."
He handed you the box, and you smiled at him before opening it. It had a silver bracelet in it, with both of your initials and the date you met engraved into it. Even if something happened, it would be a friendship bracelet.
"It's beautiful, and you even put the date we met." You pulled him into a hug and he responded immediately by hugging you back. "But why me?"
"Because, you're not like the other girls. You don't scream 'Oppa!' at me every time you see me. You're gorgeous, sweet, and funny not to mention, and you like me for me, not my popularity. You were my friend even before Lisa told you about me."
"Thank you, Jihun."
He helped you put it on and while he was, the waitress came back. "Jihun, why her? She's not me."
He looked at her for a moment. "Bye?"
She pouted and ran off into the kitchen. You started eating and surprisingly, she didn't do anything to your food, and when you were done, Jihun paid.
"I'm gonna pay you back, okay?"
He grabbed your hand. "No, you're not. This is my treat to you."
He walked you out to the limo and got in. He whispered to the driver where to go, which made you curious. You arrived at a cliff, and it had a beautiful view of the city. Jihun grabbed your hand once again and led you to a spot that you didn't see before. There was a blanket and a rose, and you sat down with Jihun.
"I get why the blanket is here, but why the rose?" You asked, curious.
"Well, red roses convey love, admiration and devotion. I know we can't say we love each other, but I feel confident in us that we will someday. So, I was wondering, if you, Choi Seungbi, would like to be my girlfriend?"
Those butterflies came back and you smiled. You remembered what you told the boys- 'I don't feel anything around him'. Maybe you spoke too soon?
"I would love to, Jihun."
You laid down on the blanket, and you rested next to him as you watched the stars together.
"We need to get you home soon." Jihun said.
"Oh, yeah." You replied. "It is getting pretty late."
Both of you got up, and Jihun grabbed the blanket and you grabbed the rose. You got into the limo and headed back to your place.
"By the way, that rose is diamond encrusted."
"I was wondering why it was so sparkly-" you cut yourself off, blinking a few times and turning the rose. "Diamond encrusted?"
He nodded. "Yeah."
"I feel like you spent way too much money on me."
"I just wanted to make you happy."
"You didn't have to buy me all of this to make me happy." You told him. "I'm very grateful."
The limo driver pulled into your driveway, and Jihun walked you to the front door. "I had a lot of fun tonight, Jihun. Thank you for everything."
"I'd do anything for you." He said.
He started leaning in, but before he could kiss you, your brother opened the door. "Yawawoo!" Seungcheol yelled, pulling you into the house.
"Bye, Jihun. I'll see you on Monday." You said, before Seungcheol could close the door.
He smiled. "Okay."
The door shut, and Seungcheol looked at you. "Was he about to kiss you?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about." You started running up the stairs. "Good night, I love you guys. I'll tell you all about it in the morning."
You blew kisses to them as you went up to your room and put the rose on your nightstand. You told Seungcheol before your date that you'd be fine sleeping on your own. You told him that you would lock your windows, and that the only reason you got taken in your sleep was because the front door wasn't locked.
You changed and crawled into your bed, drifting off, thinking about the wonderful day you had.
