As Seungcheol hugged you, the strangers looked at each other, confused. Not only were they confused, so were you. In only a few days, your life completely changed, and it scared you. Seungcheol pulled away and scowled at the three men standing a few feet away.
"Don't touch her again."
"She's not that important why can't we just play with her a little?" One of the strangers asked.
Seungcheol sighed. "Because I said no."
They held their hands up in defense and got in their car, heading off to wherever they were headed. Seungcheol gently took your wrist and both of you got in his car.
He looked at your bloody thigh, then up at you. "Seungbi, what happened?"
"It's a really long story." You mumbled. "I was stabbed, it got stitched up, but I guess it reopened."
He pulled out of the driveway as he shook his head. "Our parents?"
You have him a quick glance. "How'd you know?"
"They did the same thing to me to keep me from running off, but it obviously didn't work." He looked at you and smiled. "I was so angry that I didn't get to meet you, but now I have and I can protect you with my life."
He reached over and ruffled your hair, something that you deemed very big brother like, and you gently smiled at him through your pain. Despite how brotherly he was, you didn't know him. You kept your guard up.
"Okay, we need to get your thigh stitched up." He took a cloth from the back seat. "Tie this around the wound until we get to the house."
"Thank you." You sighed, turning to him with a pause. "How did you find me exactly?"
"Our parents told me about how they would get you back the moment you turned eighteen, so that they could make you miserable. I've always been trying to keep up with you, and when you turned nineteen, I knew exactly where you'd be, so I headed over there. I wanted to find you and protect you from them, but you're a Choi, so you handled yourself pretty well." He chuckled and smiled at you.
"That's a smart strategy." You told him. "So, where will I be staying?"
He looked at you, a goofy look on his face. "With me and my friends, of course."
"How many friends do you stay with?"
"Twelve."
Your eyes widened slightly. "Wow."
"Is that okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, I just don't really like being around guys that much, after-"
"After?"
You looked out the window, hesitant to open up anymore. Even if he was your brother, he was still a complete stranger - as mentioned earlier. You decided that maybe it was okay to tell him - there needed to be a base for trust.
"My ex-boyfriend. His name is Noah, and he was a decent guy, despite his anger issues. Since I was always with him, he would always take his anger out on me, and eventually it got really out of hand."
"Like, abusive?"
You nodded. "He broke three of my ribs with a baseball bat."
"I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you."
"It's okay. I broke up with him a while ago." You paused. "I ended up in the city after I got out of our parents house, and Noah was the one that got me into the hospital, so I could get medical attention. He asked for a second chance, told me he'd kill me when I said no, so I stabbed him."
"You stabbed the guy?"
"He tried to kill me first, but either way, I was not about to let him kill me." You chuckled, wiping at your eyes.
He smiled, in a way a proud big brother would. "Good for you."
He pulled up into a very secluded driveway, and you found that the house was extremely nice. Seungcheol got out and went to your side of the car, picking you up bridal style and carefully walking up to the house. As he unlocked the door and walked in, you couldn't help but gaze at the beautiful interior of the house, then you smelled food.
"I'm so hungry." You asked, trying to jump out of your brothers arms, but his grip was too tight.
He laughed. "We have to get your thigh stitched first."
The two of you walked into the kitchen, and all twelve boys looked directly at you. "Is that who I think it is?"
"She's so pretty!"
"You finally found her!?"
You couldn't help but blush, although Seungcheol didn't seem amused. "Yes, this is my sister, so stop hitting on her."
You laid your head on Seungcheol's shoulder. "This is weird."
"Weird." He looked back at you. "Is it really?"
"I'm not used to being around this many people, especially people who are staring."
"Stop staring." Seungcheol held back a laugh at how quickly his friends looked away. "Can you wait for a second while I get the stuff for your leg?"
"Yeah."
Seungcheol took you to the living room and you laid down on the couch, then he went to get the stuff.
He came back and sat next to you. "Okay, I'm gonna have to cut your jeans a little."
"That's fine, they're already ruined."
He carefully cut around your wound, giving you something to bite onto for the pain. You felt the needle go inside your leg, and it took everything in you to not accidentally kick Seungcheol in the head, and after about twenty minutes, he was done.
"I'll show you where you room is. Wash up and I'll introduce you to everyone."
He led you upstairs and to a bedroom that seemed to be perfect for you.
"I love this." You said.
"I knew you would." He smiled. "Okay, get your shower and then head downstairs for dinner."
You walked into your bathroom and stripped down, stepping in the shower and sighing as the hot water dripped down you skin. After your shower, you got out and put your clothes on, leaving your hair down, then you headed downstairs.
As you walked into the kitchen, Seungcheol saw you and patted the seat next to him. "Seungbi, come sit down so I can introduce you to the guys."
You sat down next to your brother and he started introducing everyone to you. They seemed like nice people, but your guard stayed up, no matter how nice people seemed.
"It's nice to meet you all." You said.
Mingyu suddenly got up to check on the food, and he brought everyone their plates shortly after.
"Thank you." You said, then you looked at Seungcheol. "Seungcheol, what do you guys do for a living in order to get all of this?"
The boys looked at Seungcheol with wide eyes, making you tilt your head. "Do you really want to know?" He asked.
You gave them a quick smile. "Why would I ask if I didn't want to know?"
"Good point." He looked at the others and they all nodded. "This is going to sound really crazy, but, we're the biggest mafia in Seoul. We go by Seventeen, and I'm the leader. Those guys you ran into at your old home, that was another mafia; Threekill. Naju is their leader."
You leaned back in your chair. Once again, you couldn't believe how in a couple of days, your life was changing.
"You're being serious?"
Seungcheol smiled as he nodded. "And since you're a Choi, and you're obviously in my bloodline, you get to help me run this mafia."
"Seungcheol, I'm nineteen. I'm not strong enough, physically or mentally, to be co-leader of a mafia." You told him. "And, everything has been hitting me like a truck recently."
"We'll teach you what we know, and what you need to know. If you're still not ready after that, that's perfectly fine." He replied.
You thought for a second, running the pros and cons through your head. You barely knew anyone in the house, yet they swore to protect you. You were safe with Seungcheol, so the least you could do was try.
You looked up at him. "I'll try."
