*Nipuna Pov*

"Good night!" I said, smiling and she nodded, climbing the stairs along with Sudhir.

"We shouldn't have done that." Aahil mumbled after a few minutes.

"I expected Mridula to say such words, but not you, Aahil. And we didn't do anything intentionally." I pointed out.

"I think Nipuna is right." Mridula said making me frown at her.

"Really?" I asked and she nodded.

"Look, we were just coincidentally near the window and saw the emotional moment with our eyes as we couldn't move feeling emotional ourselves."Mridula mumbled and Aahil stared at her in shock along with me.

"I accept that actually. It was too emotional mainly when he was hugging both of them kneeling on the ground." Mom said nodding.

"I seriously thought she loves Jay and Manohar was a distraction, but here something else is going on." I said frowning.

"Don't keep your hopes on Jay." Mridula mumbled and I stared at her with confusion.

"Anyway, maybe the office work was good for her little better mood." Aahil said smiling.

"I can't believe he dumped all the work over her and was here praising along with saying how much work he gave to her. If not for my plan for him to get shocked seeing her here, I would have scolded him." I said thinking about Dileep.

"Leave him, Nipuna. Concentrate on your cousin and give the poor guy some better days." Aahil said, smirking while I rolled my eyes at him.

"So, what shall we do?" I asked staring at them.

"We will not do anything. She had enough interruption from everyone. She will find her own way." Mridula said and I opened my mouth to object.

"Mridula is right." Mom said and I frowned at her.

"But she is my cousin." I mumbled and Mridula frowned at me.

"I am sorry if I am..." I cut her off shaking my head.

"It is just my sulking and if you both think like that then it is fine." I said smiling at her and she smiled back.

"Okay! Then I guess I shouldn't stop someone from coming here." Aahil mumbled and we all turned to stare at him.

"Who?" Uncle asked, frowning.

"It is Jay! The people who told me about Kalpana were his and he seems to know about my own investigation. So, he called me today morning asking about Kalpana but I acted like I don't even know such name." Aahil explained.

"Yeah! Let him come." Mridula said nodding.

"She will get upset." I said, staring at her.

"I think she needs to face it and we will be there, right. And my guess is she will feel more upset if she knows some other person tried to rule her life." Mridula said and looked up only to freeze.

"Rule her life you say." We heard Tajwar's voice and turned to see him walking towards us.

"Now, what is this round table conference?" he asked sitting beside me.

"About my cousin." I replied shrugging.

"Right!" he mumbled when I didn't elaborate and then stared at Mridula who was busy with taking away the dishes after placing the food on one plate.

"Have your dinner." Mom said, pushing the plate towards him frowning.

"I will have it in my room." He said getting up and climbed the stairs while Mridula returned to the dining area.

"Aahil! Call him and give him the address, but not the company where she is working for now. If he wants to talk to her then let it be our home than the place where we may not do anything if needed." Mridula said holding the plate and walked away.

"I will never understand these both. Some way or the other they have a problem." Mom said shaking her head.

"Join the club, Mom." I said smirking.

"Don't behave like you are any better than them. Who knows how you both will fight again." She said, shaking her head again.

"You all have kids now. At least act maturely." She added.

"You solved your problems after your kids have kids." I pointed out and she narrowed her eyes at me before smiling and walked away along with Uncle.

"You both are too much." Aahil said, smiling and I winked at him.

*Kalpana Pov*

"You have done a good job, Ms.Kalpana." Sir, said and I nodded smiling.

"Okay! Here is the work for today, which is not much." He added forwarding a paper with instructions.

"Okay, Sir." I said, nodding staring at the paper.

"Please call me Dileep, Ms.Kalpana. I feel so old when you say Sir." He said, frowning and I just nodded before walking out of the cabin.

After finishing the work, I knocked on his cabin to only for him to say leave for my home as it is already late. I greeted him and left the office to reach the school.

"Let's go!" Sudhir hurried the moment I reached.

"Why?" I asked him frowning.

"Uncle said he will come to meet us today." He replied and I stilled for a second before walking away with him along with Nipuna and the kids.

"He is coming today?" Nipuna asked and I nodded looking out.

"You can talk to me, Kalpana. I am not that good listener, but still you can talk to me." She added.

"I will!" I said, smiling and just stared to see whether he is really here or not the moment we got near to the house.

"Hi!" he said the moment I got out of the car to see him standing like yesterday.

"Hi!" I said back and walked near to him holding Sudhir's hand.

"How was the day, Sudhir?" he asked, smiling at him and listened for the next few minutes whatever Sudhir said describing his day at school.

"How was yours?" he asked, turning towards me.

"Fine!" I replied and just stood there.

"Okay! I will go now and see you tomorrow." He said, giving Sudhir a hug bending and got up before staring at me but eventually walked away.

After a few minutes, I turned and started walking inside the house only to hear loud voices making me frown.

"Why didn't you call?" I heard Nipuna's voice.

"I forgot! I will just do it now, Woman. No need to eat my ear off." Aahil replied and walked away when I stepped in.

"Is something wrong?" I asked Nipuna and Mridula but they shook their heads sighing.

"What are you doing here, Ms.Kalpana?" I heard a voice and turned to see a frowning Dileep and smiling Amrin.

"Dileep, meet my cousin Kalpana. And Kalpana, you already know who he is." Nipuna said, walking near to me, but we all can hear the excitement in her voice.

"What? But..." he trailed off, frowning and I calmly explained why I didn't tell him who I am.

"So, how amazing is my cousin?" Nipuna asked smirking.

"So amazing that she didn't leave any of it for you." Dileep replied without blinking and I stopped myself from laughing.

"You guys don't start. I am so tired." Amrin said, stopping Nipuna from saying anything.

"And we know why you are tired." Nipuna said raising her eyebrow making Amrin blush but immediately glared at Dileep.

"Don't get upset again. I am also tired." He said, frowning and they both walked away chuckling to themselves.

"So, see my crazy family and you still didn't meet the odd one out of the family. Maybe you will soon." She said smiling and I smiled back realizing I still didn't meet Mridula's husband.

"What are you doing here?" I asked the moment I stepped out of the house the next morning.

"Kalpana! I was searching for you everywhere." Jay said, sighing in relief and walked near to me while Sudhir stood beside me.

"We both are getting late." I said, but he was staring at Sudhir with a smile.

"How are you, Sudhir?" he asked him, but Sudhir stayed silent.

"How is your Mom?" I asked when he kept on staring at him.

"She died!" he replied simply and I stepped back hearing the words.

"I am so sorry, Jay." I said staring at him.

"I knew that was going to happen for a long time." He said shrugging and then looked at me.

"Please forgive me for everything, Kalpana. Come with me and we will live happy which I assure you." He added but I shook my head.

"I am happy with my life and I don't need anyone." I said, but he shook his head this time.

"We were so happy and we will be more this time. Together a complete family. And I will never let anything happen to this family." He said walking near to me but stopped frowning.

"Come on, Kalpana. We will drop the kids and get going." I heard Dileep's voice.

"Where is Aahil?" I asked him and he smiling.

"Seems like he is ignoring his work for the past few days. So he left off when you were getting ready." Dileep explained and I nodded at him.

"Jay! I am really sorry for your loss, but... but I can never come back to you." I said gently, knowing well how he must be feeling with how close he is to his mother.

"I will not lose you, Kalpana." He said, but I walked away along with Dileep and kids.

"Are you okay?" Dileep asked and I nodded smiling.

"We can go together if you want." He suggested when I said I finished my work.

I nodded as there is still time for the school to be over. After picking up the kids we reached the house only for me to go still looking at the two people.

"You are very popular." Dileep said when we both got down along with kids.

I stared at the two people who are looking at me but not at each other. Suddenly Sudhir rushed near to Manohar smiling and hugged him while Jay stared at them with a pained expression.

"Well, call for help if you need." Dileep mumbled and walked away with kids while Jay walked near to me.

"He is my Son, Kalpana. But he doesn't smile at me while he is... he is so close to him." Jay said with hurt voice.

"I didn't tell him to do that, Jay. It is his choice." I said gently not wishing to be harsh after hearing the news about his Mom.

"I have every right on him." He suddenly said and my wish to be calm broke.

"Which you passed completely to me with you not having any right regarding him. If you want, you can go and check the legal papers you signed so happily." I said and he sighed.

"Sorry! It is just hurting." He mumbled and stared at me.

"So, how is the office work?" he asked, turning the direction and I replied calmly.

Within no time we were having a normal conversation I looked away from him, only to meet Manohar's eyes.

"Look, like I already said. I am happy with my life here and I do not need anyone." I said still looking at Manohar.

"But I am here to change that." Jay said and left when I didn't say anything else.

After that, Manohar walked near to me holding Sudhir and placed him down. Then he said he will be here tomorrow before walking away.

And it started with both of them being near the house everyday evening, but with Jay talking while Manohar stayed silent just looking at me in between.

"I need to go home today as it seems some work need me there." Jay said after two days and I nodded.

"I hope we will be together, Kalpana. I missed all these conversations which we used to have when we were married." He added and left while Mnaohar walked near to me who must have heard all this.

"I will come tomorrow." He said and Sudhir nodded, smiling before walking inside the house while he stared at me.

When he was about to move away, I stopped holding his hand and asked, "You are away from your company for a long time. It will affect the work."

"I am in the company every day and there is no delay in any work." He said, assuring me.

"You have a branch here?" I asked, frowning still holding his hand.

"No! For now there is nothing here." He replied and I frowned more.

"Then how can you..." I trailed off.

"I am shuttling." He simply replied.

"What?" I asked, feeling more than shock.

"I know I can't ignore the work when there is so much to do, but I can't stay away from seeing you both at least once. So, I am just going to and fro." He replied shrugging.

"And I am not doing much travelling to. It is just in my plane." He added when I still gaped at him.

"Are you crazy? I travelled here, okay. I know how much time it will take and when are you sleeping?" I asked raising my voice.

"While travelling! And about being crazy, I am already weird, so why not crazy too?" he asked smiling a little.

"If you are doing all that for our sake, then why are you not trying to have a word with me?" I asked, ignoring the effect of finally seeing him smile for me after so many days.

"I do not want to push you for anything, Kalpana. You are happy here and whatever you want will be the only thing that will stay in your life. I will not do anything anymore. I am just being selfish to see you at least for some time and spend it with Sudhir. I know you got hurt because of my meddling at every way and I will not do it again for you to accept me." He replied while I just stared at me and then he slowly walked away removing his hand from mine but my next question stopped him.

"What will you do if I start going out with someone else or even Jay?" I asked, not knowing where the question even came from but maybe from the anger I felt these few days with him so silent.

"Like I said I will not force myself over you and about dating again it is your wish. I already promised to myself that I will never be in the way stopping Jay because I know you both have a past. So, I didn't do the same thing I did with Kiran. Anyway, I always keep my promises." He replied and walked away while his answer made me feel more anger out of nowhere because of which I shook scolding myself.

"What happened?" Nipuna asked when I sent Sudhrir alone to sleep while I sat at the table.

"I don't know what is happening." I replied and laid my head on the table.

"Is it about your fans?" Dileep asked and immediately got a slap on the shoulder from Amrin.

"I don't know what to think." I calmly said.

"Maybe we should stop allowing them here if they are disturbing you." Aahil advised.

"I don't know what to say." I added to myself.

"Kalpana! Do you love Manohar?" Mridula asked suddenly and I sat up only to stare at her.

"I... I..." I couldn't answer making me frown as I was so sure I don't love him just a few days back but now with the sudden question I don't have the answer.

"Was your love marriage with Jay?" Amrin asked and I nodded.

"Then she must not be loving Manohar. She already loves Jay right." Aahil said, smiling at me.

"I don't think I... I love Jay." I mumbled.

"That is your anger speaking. I mean once you fall in love, we can't fall out of it." Dileep said and turned to stare at Amrin smiling.

"Yeah! I can't think of falling out of love from Nipuna." Aahil added.

"And you both are stupid." We heard a new voice and I turned to see a man walking inside holding his briefcase and I know he is Tajwar.

"Why is that?" both his brothers asked.

"For thinking no one can't fall again in love when there is a perfect example of it happening in this house only." He replied shrugging and then glanced at Mridula who is staring at him.

"Hello, Kalpana! A small advice is to never listen to my brothers. They nearly made me lose my love with the same talk." He added turning towards me and I nodded not having any words to say.

"So, whom are you going to choose? Manohar or Jay?" Aahil asked, leaning forward while my brain froze at the way they are asking.

"Why should she even choose from both of them? They don't have any right on her. She can totally be with some person who is neither of them too." Mridula said and I coughed while I felt the person beside me go still but I continued to cough ignoring everything with her words playing in my head along with the formation of some sort of plan.

the story will finish soon and hopefully in this week itself, i have exams coming up from next week. So, i don't want to put it on hold... anyway, next chapter is something which i still have to think even though i have an idea...

uff! i hope i can update tomorrow...
