Far From the Eyes of Onlookers
Time after time
I'll make you mine
Time after
Time after time
Feliciano dropped down on the couch, confused and amazed.
Ludwig.
Julius.
They looked the same. Identical. Of course Julius had been way younger when he...
Feli clutched the couch cushions, trying to get a grip on reality. This had to be some kind of dream. When he saw Ludwig at school he hadn't gotten the best look at him. He had dismissed his suspicions as just a coincidence. But now, seeing him up close, listening to the way he spoke...
He was Julius all grown up.
Except the muscles.
The muscled were new.
And kinda....hot....
Feli's face went red and he pressed his hands to them, trying to get the thought out of his head. Ludwig wasn't hot. No way.
"Yo, Feli! Enjoying the par-tay?" Alfred plopped down at the Italian's feet, eyes clouded with booze.
"Uhhuh yeah. The music is..." He couldn't find a compliment.
"Awesome right?"
"Yeah..."
"Do you want something to drink?"
"Yeah."
"I'll go get something."
"Yeah."

"Feliciano!" The young blond boy rushed across the park, stumbling on pebbles in his excitement at seeing his new friend.
"Hello!" Feliciano looked up from the pasta dish he was building.
Julius sat down beside him, smiling the softest of smiles. "That looks very nice."
"Thank you!"
"How long have you been working on it?"
"A few minutes. Wanna help me build another?"
Julius's eyes brightened. "Of course!"
The two immediately went to work, shaping the damp sand into a masterpiece. Halfway through, their hands brushed and they pulled back as if from a shock.
"Sorry."
"Sorry."
Feli's face heated up. He didn't know why. This feeling was new to him. Strange. Was this just friendship or was it that special kind of friendship that his grandpa told him about?
"We're almost done." Julius pointed out, somehow more flustered than Feliciano was.
"Yeah."
They were about to add the finishing touches when somebody called out to them.
"Feliciano! It's time to go!" Grandpa was back from his checkup.
"Aww but grandpa-"
"You can come back tomorrow. I promise."
"Okay."
Feliciano skipped across the playground, taking his grandfather's hand and walking at his side.
The older Italian smiled sadly.
"Grandpa...is everything okay?"
"Sí. I am fine..." He didn't look fine. The checkups he had been getting were more and more frequent and he had bags under his eyes. But Feliciano didn't notice these things. He accepted his grandfather's reply without a second thought.
"Hurry up, Feli. We've got places to be!"
"Yes grandpa!"
"How about pasta for dinner tonight."
"Sí!"
"Then let's go."
Aaaaaah yeah anime conventions! So many people wanted pics of my frisk cosplay I'm excited for tomorrow!
