Peter's POV

I was standing at the edge bridge in the shadows, minding my own business when I saw a car drive passed. Two teenagers stopped right in front of the car, one girl and one boy. I watched as a man got out of his car and grab ahold of the boy who was standing in front of his car.

"No." The slender boy shouted as he kicked him to the river.

"Stop." The boy yells.

The girl tries to follow her friend but she ends up tripping over in the process of walking towards them. The old man begins to push the boy in the water, before holding him under. I don't know exactly what is going on, but so far, it seems to be entertaining. "Get off him!" The girl shouted, getting up from the floor.

"Get off him!" She shouted again as she aggressively grabbed the mans arm.

"K-Kelsey! Help!" Kelsey? Kelsey as in Scott's twin sister? Well she's certainly changed since I saw her last. She's more prettier, and looks more stronger, maybe even more confident too. She'd make a good werewolf.

Surprisingly, Kelsey actually managed to pull the man away, before she helped her friend out the water and onto the side. After catching his breath, the boy grabbed Kelsey's hand.

"Let's get out of here." She said to him, pulling the boy up on his feet.

"I don't think so." The old man said from behind. Kelsey and her friend start to run away when he grabbed her arm and threw her out of the way, causing her to hit her head on a log. Well that wasn't very nice.

I watched the elderly man pull the boy back to the river as he struggled to fight back. "Kelsey!" The boy cries as Kelsey lays helplessly on the floor. I should probably do something...but I really don't care, it's not my problem.

The young boy was no longer splashing or gasping for air. Instead, he laid in the water, still and in peace. Proud of his work, the old man removed his hands from the boy before slowly walking back to the side. He looked to his left before speaking. "No longer afraid of the water?" Who's he talking to?

"Well, you don't have to he afraid of anything my friend." He said taking off his glove. That's when I noticed some sort of giant reptilian creature crawling along the floor towards the man. What is that? "Especially me." He says, lifting up his hand as if he were to high five someone. The creature holds up it's hand before putting it against the mans hand.

3 minutes later the old man was gone, and so was the lizard. About to leave the sight, I glance over at Kelsey's body. I can't leave her there, especially of she's not dead. I guess I could take her home, I still remember where her house is.

Walking towards Kelsey, I pick her up from the damp floor and carry her over my shoulders. Maybe I'll say hello when she's awake, but not tonight. It's too soon.

So that was chapter 19, what did y'all think? It was a little short, I know but I wanted to do something a little different.

Anyways what do you think of Peter? Is he up to something? Or is he just his usual creepy self?

I've already started writing chapter 20, but it may take a little longer to upload, because I have people coming over at the weekend and yeah. It's gonna be a busy week too, but I'll find some time to write...I always do.

Oooo and a little announcement....I will be having a new book coming, it won't be fully published anytime soon. But I just wanted y'all to know. It's going to be about a certain boy named Newt from The Maze Runner.
