I hate shopping. Those idiots made me walk to 5 different stores. We're Amara's apartment and I'm just tired.

"That was fun", Renee says.

My eyes are about to pop outta their sockets. You have got to be kidding me.

"How is walking around and trying on dozens of clothes fun? How is getting tired and sweaty supposed to be fun?"

"You won't understand," she says with dreamy eyes, "you're practically one of the guys."

"I like being one of the guys thank you very much."

I really wanna go to my room and sleep and luckily that dweebs from high school arent here. They act different around me except for Kamsi.  She's the only human among them, I tell ya.
Anyways, I'm too tired to stand up from the couch so I crawl.

Yes people. Why walk when you can simply crawl? My idiotic friends watch me with amusement.

"You know," Sam says, "you could've just asked me for a piggy back."

I never thought of that. But I'm already close to my room.

"No, but thanks anyway."

I get to my room and manage to hoist myself unto the bed.

Finally, sleep!

"Hey" Kamsi said.

"Sup."

"We need to talk."

"Uhmm, OK?"

"Be careful around the others. I mean our school mates. They're out to get you. They've changed. Even Alex."

I knew they've changed. It's obvious.

"OK. But Alex?" I asked

"Do you remember the crush he had on you that time?"

"Yeah."

"He's not over it. And for what ever reason, he wants you to pay for leaving him."

Leaving him? It wasn't a relationship. I don't do those. I simply have no time for them. It was just a crush. Period.

"OK. Thanks Kamsi."

"You can count on me. You're my friend and I won't let you get hurt again."

I didn't know what she meant because I've been hurt by so many people, I've lost count. But I never told her anything.

"OK. Thanks again."

"You're welcome. I have to go now. Bye."

"Bye."

I've spent the whole morning thinking about that dream. It could be a warning. I'm confused.
1. Alex doesn't look like he's out to get me. Heck, he even has a girlfriend.
2. I don't care about Mary, Jenny and Bryan. We were never close.
3. Kamsi and I.... Well we were close until I shut her out.
Until I shut everyone out.

I guess all I can do now is wait. Unfortunately, I hate waiting.
