Judy slammed her hand down onto the alarm, halting the noise. Nick let her have an alarm in the guest room for her. Judy shot straight out of bed, quickly dressed herself into casually clothing and checked the time, 5:30. She walked into the living room and stared at the couch where it had happened. Judy wondered if it was a dream or if Nick had actually done it. Did he ask me? Judy thought. She and Nick have been friends for 5 months, Judy loved every second of their friendship. She taught Nick a lot about caring for others, Nick taught her how to stay strong. They both knew so much, so they had a lot to teach each other. Judy appreciated Nick's friendship dearly, which is why she needed to talk about it.

"Nick?" Judy called out. She wanted to discuss this now.

She walked into the kitchen and found a carrot muffin with a note beside it. Judy grabbed the note and noticed Nick's handwriting.

"Juds, I forgot to give you this last night. This is from Sahara Sweets, when Fred and I went. It's all yours, don't worry I've got your coffee for the morning. -Nick"

Judy smiled at the thought of Nick's gesture. Nick always did subtle, sweet, things for Judy. She appreciated all of that. Judy grabbed a bag, stuffed the muffin in there along with a granola bar from Nick's snack jar. He had that for Judy as well, he knew how healthy she liked her stuff. Judy left the bag on the kitchen counter and went into Nick's bathroom for a quick shower. Nick didn't mind sharing with Judy, it's the least he could do considering her condition at her apartment. Nick always did what he could for Judy, Judy appreciated all of it.

After her shower Judy got dressed in her uniform and checked the time, it was 6:58 am. She went into the kitchen and grabbed the muffin from the bag. "Might as well." She said out loud. She took a bite at sat down at couch. She turned on the TV to entertain herself for awhile. As she turned the TV on she noticed a stack of movies. Judy grabbed the stack and began taking the romantic-comedies in one pile, and everything else in the other. She sat back down on the couch and watched her favourite show, "Breaking Bear."

Half way through the show, at 7:50 am, Judy received a text. "Got a case, need your help. - Fred." Judy sighed. She really wanted to finish the show, but she had work. She grabbed her phone and keys, and left the apartment. There was one thing still, she needed to confront Nick. The precinct was the worse place to do it, but she had to.
