The Resistance brings the captured Harumi into their base.

Harumi laughs "Oh, how the tables have turned."

"Quiet," Lloyd commands.

Dareth looks at Reika "So, we got Harumi. Now what do we do?"

"What if we use her for trade?" Nya suggests "Our friends in the Kryptarium Prison for her."

"How does that make you feel, Lloyd?" Harumi questions. "That your father cares for me more than his own son."

"Don't listen to her," Reika tells Lloyd.

"He had no problem with ending your life," Harumi comments "not a single ounce of regret."

"In case you haven't realized," Lloyd turns away from her "it didn't work."

"Aw maybe not," Harumi smirks "but where's your princess? Surely, she survived if you did?"

Lloyd's eyes glowed pink as he turned to her, Reika grabbed his arm to stop him.

"Lloyd," Reika says "keep a cool head."

Lloyd's eyes turned back to green before he pulled his arm away from Reika.

"My father cares for no one, only his thirst for more power." Lloyd tells her.

"I know, so he won't free our friends." Reika agrees "We'll hold on to her until she's valuable to us."

"My generals have been here before. It's only a matter of time until they find me" Harumi says.

Lloyd and Reika turn back to the others, ignoring Harumi.

"I hate to admit it, but she's right. I hope whatever courage you have up your sleeve is an ace, because right now, we're about to fold." Dareth tells them "But don't tell me right now because I think she can hear us."

The door immediately opens and in walks Skylor "Found some stuff in her belongings."

"I think you need to see this" Mistake says.

Harumi grunts, trying to free herself.

"Go. I'll keep watch over her" Nya tells them.

Lloyd and Reika follow Skylor and Mistake.

"What is it mom?" Lloyd asks.

"The Oni Mask of Hatred" Mistake replies, holding it up.

"If your Elemental Power doesn't return, this could certainly help" Skylor suggests to Reika.

"But Oni power is Dark Magic." Mistake warns "Wield it only at your own peril."

"What do you want to do?" Skylor asks Lloyd.

Reika looks at the Mask of Hatred before throwing it at Harumi's feat.

"My mask! You're going to steal it?" Harumi questions.

Reika glares at her "Save the performance, I'm not going to use it."

"It's a trap." Lloyd tells her before turning to Harumi "The only reason someone as smart as her was captured is because she wanted to be."

"Ooh, very perceptive, Lloyd. You're smarter than you let on. If I can't trick you, perhaps I can deliver a message: Emperor Garmadon will destroy you," Harumi turns to Reika "and you can do nothing to stop it because YOU can NEVER change. As much as you want to, you don't have it in you to hurt your dear Sensei!"

Dareth growls "You don't know Reika!"

Harumi smirks "Don't I? Let me ask: How do you see this ending? You CAN'T because there is no happy ending. Once Green, always Green."

"What does that even mean?" Reika questions turning to the group.

Lloyd and Skylor shrug in response. In the Realm of Oni and Dragons, the Oni were silent as they went about their day. In the main tent, the Omega was sitting in deep thought with Aria and Suromi sitting in front of her.

"I thought my own daughter a villain," the Omega says with regret "all this time... Mystic betrayed us."

"In the end you drove the wedge between you and my mother," Aria tells her "But banishment was the best thing you did for her."

"Things would've been different," the Omega mutters.

"Yes, things would've." Aria sighs "You cannot dwell on the past anymore."

"I was a fool!" the Omega throws her teacup in anger.

Suromi looks between the two before speaking "Omega, you know better than anyone that fate is a mystery indeed. You cannot change the relationship between you and Layla anymore," he looks at Aria "but you have a chance to make amends with her daughter."

The Omega turns to the two and looks at Aria, who sat there with a blank look.

"What did you truly come here for child?" the Omega asks "Surely, righting your mother's wrong was not your intention?"

"Not entirely," Aria replies "but to me, my mother was everything. Or so I thought, when i was younger."

The Omega slowly walks over and sat down in front of Aria "If it is within my power, I will do what I can for you, my grandchild."

"As you know, I am an Oni." Aria says, "I, however, do not know the extent of my own power."

"Then perhaps," the Omega smiles slightly "we can help."

Meanwhile, in Ninjago, Lloyd is looking at the Colossus. Nya, Reika, Skylor, and Mistaké soon join him.

"You're wearing green again," Lloyd comments as he turns to Reika.

"Harumi gave me a lot to think about, about how this will end." Reika sighs "Harumi said I was unable to change" she turns to Mistake "but you said to defeat what my sensei's become, I would have to change. Well, I'm ready."

"For what exactly?" Nya asks, "To change?"

"I have to be ready to accept that I may never get my power back" Reika answers.

Nya looks worried "Reika—"

"It's okay, I'm not afraid. Power is never lost; it's only given away when you don't think you don't have any" Reika turns to Mistake again "You also said that."

Mistake chuckles and sighs "Wise words. I should talk more often."

"Yeah, don't get ahead of yourself." Lloyd mutters.

Mistake smacks him on the head, catching the others by surprise.

"Ow!" Lloyd turns to her "What was that for?!"

"I'm still your mother you brat," Mistake scolds.

"Are you or are you not my mother?!" Lloyd questions with a whine "Make up your mind."

Mistake chuckles "You know I won't."

"Old bat," Lloyd grumbles.

"Reika, if you go after Garmadon... we've seen what that thing can do." Nya says gesturing to the Colossus. "We barely survived the last time."

"We don't need to cower from it when we can control it" Reika replies.

"But it's controlled by my father's power," Lloyd comments.

"Power... that I can absorb." Skylor says looking at Lloyd "But I can only borrow Garmadon's power if I touch him." She turns to Reika "Just how am I supposed to get close enough without him knowing our plan?"

"You'll be a prisoner and Harumi will take you to him." Reika says "If Mistaké can turn into a rat, can she turn into a mole."

"Who needs an army when all you need is an army of one" Nya says hopeful.

They go back in their hideout where Harumi is.

Reika smirks "Harumi, I would like to introduce you to... Harumi."

Dareth opens the door and Mistake walks in, having transformed into Harumi.

Harumi laughs "Huh-ahh. You think you can pass as me!? Nothing's beneath you."

Mistake uses her normal voice "You think you can pass as me!? Nothing's beneath you."

"Mother, your voice." Lloyd comments.

Mistaké coughs "Maybe it will sound more convincing..." She transitions into Harumi's voice "if I talk like this."

"You'll never get away with it!" Harumi shouts and Nya immediately gags her "Heh-ahhuh-mmph-mmph"

"How about you be quiet, Quiet One? It's time for you to face the corner" Nya turns her around.

"Remember, you just need to get Skylor close enough to touch my father. Once you can absorb his power to control the Colossus, get out of there." Lloyd instructs as Mistake ties Skylor up loosely.

"Uh, it's my plan, when did you get in charge?" Reika asks with her hands on her hips.

"Since they killed the only person worth fighting for," Lloyd replies turning away from her.

The group went silent as Lloyd walked out of the base.

"You're sure you're okay staying back?" Skylor asks Reika.

"I'm only gonna be okay when all of this is over" Reika replies.

Mistake and Skylor walk out.

"For the first time, I feel like this could work" Dareth says.

Reika sighs "Me too. But...don't jinx it."

Back in the Realm of Oni and Dragon, Aria was following the Omega into the woods with Suromi behind them. They were a bit away from the campgrounds when they came to a clearing where there was a ring of giant stones around. Each stone had a different symbol on them.

The Omega walked into the center while Suromi stood on the outer ring. The Omega gestured for Aria to join her. Aria turns to look at Suromi who just smiled to her, Aria turns back and walks to the center of the stones.

"This is where our young Oni come for their trial." the Omega tells her.

"What trial?" Aria asks.

"It is their own personal trial, once a young Oni has reached the age of adult hood they are sent here." The Omega explains "The trial is conducted by your ancestors, who determine if you are ready or not to assume your form."

"Is that why Oni wear masks?" Aria questions.

"It is the masks of their ancestors," the Omega replies "in ancient times, there were 4 masks that were the strongest. Only their kin could inherit them, unfortunately the main 4 were lost with Mystic."

"...yeah.. I think their masks back in my realm too." Aria comments. "I've seen them."

The Omega sighs "Anyway, this is what you need to do now child."

"I need to go through the ritual?" Aria questions.

"Yes, you do." The Omega began walking away "Just wait for a sign, we'll be at the village awaiting your return."

With that, Suromi and the Omega left Aria alone in the ritual sight. Aria sighed as she looked around at the rocks with different symbols. Each having the mark of the Oni masks in Ninjago, on them.

"What sign am I.." Aria trailed off as the forest began filling with mist "Oh that's a sign."

The surrounding area was shrouded in mist so thick; she couldn't even see the ground at her feet. Aria looked around until she saw a golden figure in the distance, coming closer.

"...mom?" Aria mutters.

In Ninjago, Dareth is currently listening to The Weekend Whip music and playing an imaginary guitar, while "watching" Harumi on guard. Outside, Lloyd and Reika stood together staring up at Garmadon's base.

"Do you think they'll succeed?" Lloyd asks, breaking the silence.

"I hope so," Reika replies as she glances at his concerned face "are you worried about your mom?"

"No way," Lloyd says "that old bat hasn't kicked the bucket in all these years, she won't now."

"She's still your mother," Reika turns to him "I don't believe you're that heartless. You came to save Misako after all. No matter in what life they gave birth to you, you still care."

"I don't!" Lloyd looks at her annoyed "They both betrayed me."

"And it hurt," Reika tells him in a calm voice "I know it did. You can fool yourself Lloyd, but you can't fool me."

"Stop talking like you know me," Lloyd says.

"I've said it before and I'll say it again," Reika huffs "I don't, but I know what it feels like to be betrayed. My siblings left me a long time ago to play ninja, I was left alone for a long time. I forgave them though, and you can forgive those who've wronged you too."

"I won't," Lloyd looks away.

"It's... a choice Lloyd." Reika says, "You can choose, to forgive them, and move on."

"You don't understand," Lloyd shakes his head "you don't know what they did."

"Then tell me," Reika grabs his arm "I can't help you if you don't."

Lloyd sighs "It was-"

"Yowwwooo!!! Lloyd! Reika! Help!"

Lloyd and Reika immediately run over, opens the door, and sees Dareth in Harumi's place on the chair.

Dareth looks at them "I know this looks pretty bad; I take full responsibility."

"Dareth? Where is she?" Reika asks worriedly.

"Shit," Lloyd curses as he turns to the door "mom."

In Ninjago City, Skylor and Mistake are on the move.

"Oh, there you are." Killow spots them "I was starting to get worried; it appears our little stunt did the trick."

"I couldn't get Lloyd, but I got the next best thing" Mistake as Harumi replies.

Mistake and Skylor made up to the top of the tower, Ultra Violet accompanies along.

"My Emperor, I present you with Skylor, an Elemental Master" Mistake says as Harumi.

"No matter what you do to me, the Resistance will fight on" Skylor acts.

Garmadon steps down to take a closer look at Skylor.

"Careful, my Dark Excellence, Harumi forgot to add she has the power to absorb. Don't get too close" Ultra Violet warns.

Garmadon immediately backs away "Hmm. Absorb?"

"He is well aware of her powers, but your insubordination does not go unnoticed, Ultra Violet" Mistake says.

"Curious you didn't tell me that?" Garmadon walks around, examining Mistake "For my adviser to leave that out is ill-advised."

Mistake nods "My Lord, I have proved my allegiance time and time again. For you to doubt my abilities—"

"Is what?!" Mistake and Garmadon turn around to see Harumi behind them "Two-faced?"
