Garmadon, Lloyd, and Aria sat together in the rattlecopter with the serpentine generals, flying over the endless sea.

"Have you contacted your father?" Garmadon asks Aria

"Yeah," Aria leans back against the wall "The dark island should be in a position where we can find it. I've already mapped out where it could be, we just have to search the area."

"And don't worry, we're more than ready Dad," Lloyd says "The only one who can help us now is Lord Svern."

"I hope your right," Garmadon says "If the prophecy comes true then we'll be at a loss."

"Father says he can sense his army," Aria informs him "Everything is set in motion."

Garmadon sighs "I hope you two won't be too disappointed."

"Why would we be disappointed?" Aria shakes her head "You've done everything you could Sensei."

"What.. will happen to you?" Lloyd asks "If he's able to cross over into our world using you, will you still be here?"

"Do not worry about that," Garmadon says "Once Svern can recover his body I shall be back."

"What if Dad's body is gone by now?" Aria asks "Will he use yours forever?"

"Let us not think of what ifs," Garmadon says "With the mega weapon destroyed, this is our last resort."

"I hope daddy's ready," Aria mutters

"Your father has been waiting for us all this time," Garmadon tells her "he will be."

They flew over the endless sea for hours searching for the island. The generals were growing irritated and Aria was getting frustrated.

"You said it was in position!" Aria shouts

Lloyd turns to her "What?"

"She's talking to her father," Garmadon says "Be quiet Lloyd."

"How?" Lloyd raised an eyebrow "She just looks crazy."

Aria growls in frustration as Garmadon puts his hand on her shoulder.

"Arguing with him will do us no good," Garmadon says "It has to be somewhere around here."

"This is growing tiresome," Scales complains "There is no island."

"Yes, there is!" Aria shouts

"Calm down," Lloyd put both his hands on her shoulders

Aria sighs and leans back against Lloyd.

"Do another lap," Garmadon commands " We need to find the island today!"

"Oh look," Scales points out "is that the island?"

Aria runs to the edge and stares out, Garmadon and Lloyd join her. Skales suddenly pushes Garmadon into the kids, making them stumble and fall out of the copter. Aria and Lloyd screamed as Garmadon quickly grabbed onto their waists before they plunged into the endless sea.

"All hail, leader of the Serpentine!"

"Aria wake up!"

"Don't keep your father waiting child."

Aria opened her eyes and shot up, hitting Lloyd in the face, who was hovering over her.

"Ow!" Lloyd held his nose "Aria!"

"Wha-" Aria looked around to see them on an island, before looking back at Lloyd "Why did you have your face so close moron?!"

"You're the one who was unconscious and I'm the moron?!" Lloyd argues

Garmadon sighed as he turned to the purple orb beside him.

"See what I've had to deal with?" Garmadon points out

"Yes.. I appreciate your hard work." the orb replies

"Daddy!" Aria smiled as she stood up quickly and ran to them "Have you missed me?"

"Of course," the Overlord chuckles "my princess, you look so much like your mother."

"The Overlord.. is a ball?" Lloyd questions as he walks over to the group as well.

"He's not a ball!" Aria shouts at him

"Can we please get back on task!" Garmadon pushes the two apart.

"I see they haven't changed," the Overlord chuckles "Now, let's get to work."

The Overlord leads Garmadon and the kids into the island where they have to climb a mountain. Once they reached the top there was a contraption with four handles.

"Four hands?" Aria questions "Is that a coincidence?"

"Not a coincidence my dear, destiny." the Overlord replies

Garmadon rotates the switches and the rest of the island begins to emerge from the ocean.

"Woah!" Aria shouts excitedly

"The ultimate battle between good and evil has been foretold." the Overlord says "And now with your help, we will reclaim this world!"

"Yes," Garmadon laughs "It's only a matter of time."

"Not another mountain!" Aria complains

"Then grow wings!" the Overlord shouts

"You know damn well I can't!" Aria argues

"Yes you can, have you learned nothing!" the Overlord turns to Garmadon "What has she been doing all these years?!"

"My wife sent her to boarding school, it wasn't my fault." Garmadon says

"You disappeared dad," Lloyd points out

"Ok.. that was my fault." Garmadon admits "but what is so important at the top of this cliff?"

"The key to the greatest army ever seen and the means to the greatest weapon ever known." the Overlord replies "I haven't just been twiddling my fingers all these years unlike you all."

"Seems like you've had nothing but time daddy," Aria says

"My master plan has been in the works since the beginning of time. Every piece moves in perfect harmony like the gears of clock, slowly shifting the balance of power back to darkness." the Overlord explains "You my child, are no different."

"Oh so your thing with plans comes from your father," Lloyd comments to Aria "good to know."

"I will push you off this mountain," Aria threatens

"Ha," Lloyd laughs "do it, I dare you."

"I know your a masochist Lloyd, you'd enjoy it." Aria says

Lloyd growls "That's not-"

"Children," Garmadon sighs "stop please."

Garmadon, Lloyd, and Aria reaches the top of the mountain to find the Celestial Clock.

"What is this?" Garmadon asks

"This clock was created by my wife to countdown to the Final Battle. Once one takes the Helmet of Shadows, the clock will start." the Overlord tells them, Garmadon approaches the helmet. "But be warned, though he who wears the Helmet of Shadows can travel between the Islands at will, once it is removed, the countdown cannot be stopped."

Aria and Lloyd look at each other as Garmadon takes the Helmet and puts it on his head. The clock made a loud ring and began to tick.

"The countdown to the final battle has begun," the Overlord says "Now we wait for the army."

"What army?" Aria asks

"My army," the Overlord replies before turning to Garmadon "Do they not remember?"

"They don't," Garmadon tells him "I believed it would've been better that way."

"I see," the Overlord says, not pressing for more.

"Is there something we're not supposed to know?" Lloyd questions "You're both talking like we're not standing 2 feet from you."

"Perspective aren't they?" the Overlord mutters

"They're 16 now Svern," Garmadon tells him "nothing's getting past them."

"Well we got lots to do," the Overlord began floating away

Garmadon followed after him as the kids stood with their arms crossed. Once they were out of earshot, Aria and Lloyd turned to each other.

"Seriously, is there something we're not supposed to know?" Lloyd questions

"Apparently," Aria responds "we gotta get to the bottom of it."

"Isn't there enough going on though?" Lloyd asks "With us trying to take over Ninjago, is this really the time to be meddling kids?"

"I see what you did there, but yes." Aria replies looking after their fathers "We don't know the outcome of the final battle, we don't know what side will win. It's better to find out answers while they're still here."

"Why are you so unconfident that we'll win?" Lloyd asks

"You know those feelings I get," Aria sighs "this is one of them."

"Well stop," Lloyd says "we don't want you to be right this time."

"For the sake of our fathers," Aria shakes her head "I hope you're right."

"Hey," Lloyd puts his hand on her shoulder, Aria looks up at him and he smiles. "Our dad's are the best of the worst, they're gonna win."

"You're right." Aria smiles "I should stop being so worried."

Lloyd nods before following after their father's. Aria puts her hands on her arms and looks down.

"I believe in them.." Aria mutters "so why can't I shake this feeling, that everything won't be alright.."
