Garmadon sat on the deck of the ship watching Aria, she was looking happily out at the scenery as they fly over another part of Ninjago. Lloyd was still fast asleep in bed.

Garmadon sighs "If only you can see how your daughter's grown, Layla"

"Did you say something Sensei?" Aria asks turning around

"Nothing," Garmadon replies as he stood up, taking the mega weapon. "What do you think we should do first?"

"Don't know," Aria shrugs

"What does it do?" Acidicus asks

"The weapon possesses unspeakable powers" Garmadon replies

"Like what?" Aria questions, holding back a laugh.

"I told you, they're unspeakable!" Garmadon replies

"It kind of looks like you don't know how to use it Sensei," Aria comments

"Of course I know how to use it, I just don't have anything to use it on." Garmadon says annoyed

"Lord Garmadon! We spotted something!" Someone shouts

Aria looks up to see the Ultra Dragon.

"Ah, the Ninjas' pet. What better way to test out the Mega Weapon's power. Keep up with him, you slithering idiots! Don't let him get away!" Garmaon shouts at the crew

Aria stares at the dragon as Garmadon prepared to use the mega weapon.

"Eliminate Dragon!" Garmadon shouts, pointing the mega weapon at the dragon.

Aria looks back at Garmadon as nothing happens.

"Keep it straight! Destroy! Fire! Annihilate! Bad Dragon! Shoot it down pretty, pretty please? I can't concentrate with us jostling around!" Garmadon kept shouting

The ship stops and the Dragon flies away.

"Obviously if I had a proper crew that could fly this ship, I would've had a clear shot. This is all your fault!" Garmadon shouts, turning to the snakes, before walking away.

Aria sighs as she looks back at the retreating dragon "I wonder when I'll be able to fly like that."

"I am Captain Soto!"

Aria turns around to see the serpentine staring down a bunch of pirates who looked confused and angry. Garmadon burst out from below deck, staring at the pirates.

"Uh, sensei?" Aria looks confused, before running to him.

"When I wished it to destroy the Dragon, it wouldn't. But when I wished for a better crew.." Garmadon laughs "The Mega Weapon doesn't have the power to destroy, it only has the power to create!"

"I still don't see how you got on our ship!" Lasha shouts at the pirates.

"Your ship? We built 'er! So why don't you slither yourself off the plank?" a pirate says annoyed

"I finally have a crew I can be proud of. Batten down the hatches, fellas!" Garmadon commands

Aria shook her head "I don't think-"

"Who you calling fellas, four arms?" Soto questions, walking up to Garmadon.

"Me, Lord Garmadon. I created you, you fool. I am your captain now!" Garmadon shouts.

"Created me? I be Captain Soto, stealer of the seas. Raise your weapon!" Soto raises his sword

"The Mega Weapon must've created them, but now Sensei's too weak to use it" Aria mutters

"Take it from him" Soto ordered a pirate

The pirate walks up and grabs onto the mega weapon. Aria looked away.

Garmadon held it tighter "Ugh, no! Don't! It's too powerful! Only I can—" The pirate disappears in a golden light. Garmadon collapses and pants as Aria puts her hand on his back "..Only I have the power to wield the Mega Weapon. It may have drained my powers for now, but when my strength returns, I'll deal with you."

"Then that's too bad for you, because we're taking back our ship! Lock him and all his reptilian friends into the brig!" Soto commands

Garmadon picks up Aria and held her in his arms as he and the rest of the snakes were forced in the brig, the door shut and locked behind them.

"Sensei," Aria looks at him "What do we do?"

"We have to wait for my powers to return," Garmadon sighs "but until then.. we train."

"Train?" Aria questions as her eyes widen.

Hours pass, as Garmadon trains Aria in feeling the chaos and pain in the world.

"Close your eyes again," Garmadon instructs

Aria closes her eyes, feeling frustrated.

"Look for anything, small or big, and use that to fuel your power." Garmadon instructs

"Easy for you to say," Aria mutters

"Quiet," Garmadon commands "focus."

Aria stays quiet and focused on her closed eyes. Soon the world around her became quiet, eventually she started hearing screams, the screams became louder and louder until Aria opened her eyes panting.

"You alright?" Garmadon asks

Aria looked around at the snakes who were staring at her, she was no longer able to hear screaming.

"I.." Aria focuses her attention on Garmadon "heard something."

"Good," Garmadon smiles "that's a start.. do it again. But this time, feel it. I mean, really feel it, make their pain your pleasure."

"Make their pain.. my pleasure.." Aria repeats confused.

Aria closes her eyes and focused on all the screams of terror she heard, it was the people of Ninjago. It was their fear of the attacking pirates. Aria began seeing visions of them running from the pirates and Aria couldn't help but laugh.

Garmadon and the snakes became surprised by the sudden laughter of her. Garmadon's surprised look soon became a smirk. Aria opened her eyes and the snakes took a step back, seeing her eyes glowing purple.

"Good," Garmadon says "very good. Since you're still young you need something to channel your power."

Garmadon hands her one of the swords in a barrel.

"Now break the door," Garmadon instructs

Aria glances at him as she takes the sword from his hand. Aria takes a breath before the blade began to glow purple. Aria slashed the sword across the door, a blade of energy came out and broke open the door.

Garmadon and Aria ran out to see the ninja stuck under a mast while Lloyd was stuck in a barrel before using spinjitzu, which was a dark pink, to get out of it.

"You finally woke up moron," Aria says as she approached Lloyd and hit him over the head "Why didn't you come looking for us?!"

"I was looking!" Lloyd shouts "Why didn't you get yourselves out?!"

"Here we go again," Garmadon mutters

"I was working on it!" Aria argues

"Enough!" Garmadon pushes them apart before pointing at Soto "Aria, get him!"

"Yes sir," Aria raises her sword as her eyes glow purple again, before running at Soto.

"Since when could she do that?" Lloyd questions "I wanna do that too."

"I told you to master spinjitzu first," Garmadon replies "don't worry I'll teach you something else now."

Aria cut Soto's sword in half and uses her energy blades to cut a hole under the pirates, trapping them. Meanwhile Nya, in her Samurai Mech, comes to put the mast back in place freeing the Ninja.

"Oh nice, we were saved by a ten-year -old," Jay comments annoyed.

The pirates are being placed in police cars.

"Uh, that your ship?" The police questions

"It sure is," Jay replies happily before Cole points behind him.

The ninja turn to see Garmadon had control of the ship again as it took off.

"Snooze you loose!" Lloyd stuck his tongue out at them

"Bye bye!" Aria says tauntingly

"Oh you snot nosed little-"

"Aria get back here!" Cole shouts

"You'll never be strong enough to defeat us Ninja, give up, before it's too late" Garmadon says

"In your dreams!" Reika shouts at him

"Have it your way." Garmadon laughs "Another day, Ninja. Another day."

The Black Bounty fly away out of view as the children get together with Garmadon.

"Using mediums to control your powers will be tedious," Garmadon sighs "but we will do what we must."

"But what are my powers dad?" Lloyd asks

"A power only my son can have," Garmadon responds as he put his hand on his shoulder, he looks between Lloyd and Aria "Let me tell you two a story, it's called the Oni and the Dragon."
