Motivation doesn't exist in this town

Really, it's been almost a month since the last art dump and I...don't really have much of an excuse besides starting on so many sketches I never finished? Seriously, I have about five unfinished drawings that I will probably never show- so that was a big waste of time :D

Anyhoo, all buildings are closed here for two weeks, I'm taking that as a good sign- Also, March 15th is coming up, and I drew nothing to commemorate it this time because honestly? Noooot very into history, especially Hungarian history

But let's talk about something that isn't history, art! Drawings! Stuff!

I have to start with the one I made my profile picture, c'mon-

My favorite simple OC, ever

Ah, lookit him. Looking hot as alwa- I mean...he looks nice, okay?

This wasn't supposed to be a redraw of the "Skip town" drawing all of you probably know about, but there was so much empty space beside him I couldn't stop myself! I like the hands the most- actually, all the paint, in general, is my favorite part! I added that little touch on his scarf because you know me, always obsessed with tiny details quq

Don't give me too much credit for the idea, I'd love to credit the original base maker but I genuinely can't find the drawing on Pinterest to check the link or if there was a watermark qq

But I really really like how this turned out! Definitely a big improvement from how I used to draw paint on him...yikes

I won't even beat around the bush with the next one, I redesigned my persona...again .w. It feels like it's the tenth already or something, gosh! But I just didn't feel a connection with it anymore, so I decided to go with a different concept! I won't even show the one before this to compare because I know we're all bored of this

But here it is! Well...the first version =v=

You see, as much as I'd love to stick with one design and color palette, I just can't- My personality and how I envision myself can't be put into just one design, so I did a couple! This is the first one I did and I really like it! The premise is basically that his features change color depending on his outfit

It shows my soft side, I guess quq I love purple a lot, and these colors kinda remind me of a cake? Either way, I'm more than happy with the change-up!

I also decided to make this a full ref sheet, every single other time I've redesigned my persona I never specified anything?? And that feels wrong so I included everything this time, from the opacity percentages to the bio!

I really like the wings, don't mind me qwq

Here's the second version!

Much more similar to the older styles, mostly because of the eye and hair color, but still different! I experimented with patterns a little since I didn't wanna only change the colors quq

My mom really liked this one, I'm not surprised!

And the last one!

I just went with a sunset theme for the third one, mostly because I genuinely adore the color scheme and so, here we are!

Did you know the patterns on the birb forms also change? Details uvu

These are just the main three my persona would switch between, but it can be really any color scheme depending on my mood! Greens, yellows, pastel, dark, space, anything!

And, if you're wondering for some reason, they're all my favorite. I can't choose quq

It's onesie cuddles!

This is probably my most lazily executed detailed drawing and that sounds almost redundant? Anyway, this is just a softly shaded cuddle drawing where we're both in onesies! The one I'm wearing, the snow leopard one I actually have in real life, Add doesn't have the (what's supposed to be a golden retriever) dog one sadly quq

Isn't this perfect since we both just redesigned our personas? I think so- I even included some of my real-life blankets and plushies! One of them is very well hidden, I wonder if you'll find him =v=

Now, jumping into the drawing I'm possibly the most excited to show you!

I talked about wanting to do art challenges in my server and Jackie was kind enough to make a "Draw this character in your friends' art styles!" thingy for me quq She has already done it, Lex has already done it, now it's my turn!

I chose Nala because let's be honest, for something this far out of my comfort zone, I couldn't pick a complicated character .w.

Starting with my bean Addxiety! I think I did a decent job, minus the eyes which I screwed up, but you already knew that quq I won't give myself too much of a pat on the back though since you did sketch his hair out for me, but I still like it! And I think I nailed the background >:3

And then Gmrsugarart! I paid attention to details like the backgrounds, I know you usually do flat colors, so! I ended up going with your sketchy style because I love it so damn much, and I think it looks pretty accurate? Minus maybe the hair, I love the little hand tho ovo

Next up, PumpkingxAngel Your style is the farthest from anything I've ever tried, but that's not a bad thing, it was fun! You've drawn Nala before too, so I admittedly cheated a little .w. But I still like it!

And then lastly, Emmathecandystealer! Didn't expect to be here, huh? Truth be told I friggin ADORE your art style and it's basically everything I've ever wanted to have, so I had to try it out! I think it's my favorite attempt quq The symbol...sucks, I could've done better-

I don't even like how I drew Nala for mine- I wish I had redone it-

But my gosh, this was SO much fun! I'm definitely gonna do more art challenges in the future if I find any!

Speaking of that, here's a redraw! How that is a segue I have no idea-

I wanted to see what it'd be like if I redrew a phone drawing on my computer, not particularly cuz I dislike the phone drawings, I just wanted to see how much my art suffers if I use my phone, so! I picked the Serenity one, which I fully liked...before I did this redraw and now I don't-

Here it is, just as a refresher;

I'm definitely seeing more improvement than just wider options- maybe my art would be the same with both devices? Who knows, maybe I should've drawn something completely new on phone-

But I really like this! It's kind of a redesign too, actually, since there were a couple things I didn't like, mainly the amount of leaf and flower clusters on her thighs and the colors, so I changed them up!

My favorite part is probably the background tho, and the lens flare I tried to copy, didn't turn out that great tho .w. And yes, those are supposed to be birds...supposed to be...

Moving on! Um, on the topic of nature...?

I have no idea why I did this, I think I just found a person with a deer base drawing on Pinterest (which I sadly can't credit) and decided to do something similar, and who has a deer creature? Rohw!

I don't know what they're looking at, all I know is that Rohw's face is...weird, I don't really like how it turned out .w. I like the background tho!

But MAN does Foglia look different! You can go to her OC chapter to see the difference uvu

You know what's similar to deer? Horses- You know what's similar to horses? Centaurs

I...maaaaay have a centaur obsession- Which is weird because I only have, what, one centaur OC? Well, had, because that's about to change!

He's my everything- my bean, I would draw him all the time if I didn't suck at drawing the same OC over and over again-

It's just... he's the best qq I love this drawing, first of all, I really like the sketchy look and how the horse bodies turned out! And the hair- I think the hair and the bits of clothing are my favorite part quq

And yes, he's shirtless, what did you expect?

He's Dynasty's little cousin, and lemme tell ya, he has a giant ego- He's nicknamed "Pride" because of how much he has- He's a brat who thinks super highly of himself

I love him, okay?

I need to draw centaurs more-

Aaaand I don't have a segue, great- Um, redesigns!

First is this fool, he was in the batch of characters I REALLY wanted to remake, along with Nova/Sirius and Z-ro, and he finally got the chance!

Honestly anything can top this hot garbage, what is that clothing?? He looks like a 50 year old man in a teenager's body! And the colors- I hate it, I hate being here-

So, naturally, I tried something different! Flurrs are supposed to have lighter fur, so why not make him special? So he's a dark blue instead with some sunset-like colors that were totally a blending mode accident I decided to keep!

I like him a lot better, actually! There's still some stuff that is iffy but he actually looks like a king and he looks serious, unlike the original picture, where he just looked like an angsty teen :>

And another redesign! This time it's shipkids because I hate myself :D

No, I just honestly really despise this drawing of Lilith and April

From the awful colors to the awful designs- Lilith doesn't even look like Autumn's kid??? It just looks like Remy had a child... on his o w n

So, naturally, I remade em!

I wanted to showcase their height difference in a different way, so piggyback ride it is! Well- actually she's on his neck, so I dunno what's that called

April? Goddamn dude you had a glow-up- He used to look really bad with awful color balancing, and I realized- why the heck was I trying to make him a fusion of Autumn and Serein? It feels like when I designed and colored him, all I had in mind was to shove more and more colors from both parents into his design, and it turned out awful!

So, instead, I embraced his actual character and gave him some small hints while making him unique! And he might be one of my favorite shipkids so far-

Lilith...meh, I could've done better, but I still like it better than the original! Maybe it's the Firefly species being so limited color-wise? Who knows!

Speaking of shipkids, time to show what I tortured myself with for a whole week! And I still didn't do it all on my own, Add was a friggin bean and did the lineart for me to save time and my sanity!

You're gonna judge me for these...or think I'm weird, either works, I just wanna show what I worked on for so long!

It's four drawings in total, so buckle up!

Starting with these two, they look?? So adorable?? They're so small and floofy, Cotton's slippers are everything, g i m m e

I really like Cotton's design, actually, it almost makes him look all carnival-y quq

I'm not even gonna say whose shipkids these guys are, you'll just have to guess uvu Cotton isn't obvious, at all-

Next batch, these three!

Rasp is my friggin favorite, he's the absolute best out of all of these, look at him! With his guitar case, oh my gosh-

Royal and Bleak are both adorable, I especially like their poses

Bleak should be obvious, the other two...I'm still not telling uvu

These three are next! Probably my least favorite drawing of the four but whatever!

Gilden I was iffy on, but his design is kinda growing on me! Maybe it's the bow color that's throwing me off?

Daymare was perfect already when Add designed him, and I fixed Beartrap up! Now, paired with his edgy dark colors, he has some cotton-candy vibe limbs and I don't regret my decision! uvu

And finally, some babs

Probably the most detailed, but I love them so much??? Freppy is so wholesome, with the plaid and everything, and Taffy looks so done with life, I really like his miscoloration!

You might be asking, why are there no foxes? Well, dear reader, it's because I barely ship foxes, and this is already ten characters, what do you want from me???

You might also be wondering why this took so long. Well, I drew them all in one picture, on the same "ground" line, just to make sure they would be on the same exact scale, showing their height difference- I sketched out their poses with no reference, and I designed five of these from scratch while the other five were by Add-

I swear, I still have the file of them all in the same picture, I could make a full height difference chart if I wanted to! It would start with Cotton and Mellow, and end with Beartrap-

I'm probably gonna be scarred from the word "shipkid" for a couple weeks after this .w.

And finally, after dumping all that complaining onto you, have some wholesome, soft, relaxing art I did!

Some context, Add recently found one of my favorite artists on Pinterest, so we finally have the name! Her name's Zuzane Ziakova and she makes these ADORABLE astronomy-themed animal drawings, I couldn't help but save most of her drawings on my phone!

And I decided hey, why don't I draw some of them as a quick drawing for this art dump?

I picked mine and Add's favorite character uvu

I have to say, this was probably the most relaxing and therapeutic drawing experience I've ever had- It was so fun, I encourage other people to do something different like this from time to time!

She's drawn countless characters like this as well, some horoscope-themed, so I'm definitely gonna draw a couple from time to time whenever I feel unmotivated, am suffering from art block, or am stressed!

Oh, and check Zuzana out while you're here! She deserves the credit quq

Anyhoo, time to end off with the usual! It's just about Add and I messing around making FNaF characters on Gacha because we couldn't already be cringy enough, and...Add discovered the eye adjust section

The actual laughing drawing part of this is horrendous, so just focus on the Lefty picture :D
