Chapter 99 let's go-

Infected by this half-dead franchise, that is. Called Danganronpa. So almost half the content in this chapter's gonna be related to the game, but I still hope you enjoy without knowing the context. I post these not just as fanart, but because I love hearing feedback on how I did. That's the main reason I still continue this book in fact, but it happens less and less now and I feel like I should join a different platform-

Anyway, sorry for starting off on a serious note-- I'm posting a little bit early because I've decided to reduce the number of pictures for each chapter. They take forever as is, so now if I have ten new drawings, I'm probably gonna just make a chapter and dump them all in there. Sound good? I hope so!

In fact, I'll start with the Dr stuff, I'll show my most recent drawing first!

It's pretty self-explanatory. I drew hope-man because I find him pretty. Then I did some doodles on the side, of a chibi version (of course, accompanied by bagels), him being flustered, as well as a Hajigay-panic moment

I also shaded it. Wow! I don't do that often anymore, huh? Anyway, his hair took forever, but I'm hoping it was worth it (no pun intended-)

I'll be honest, this was a little hard to draw because I kept looking at his actual sprites for reference, and my mind started comparing the game's art style with my own, and it emphasized the flaws in my art style, especially my faces and expressions- sooo it wasn't easy .w.;;

Next up, if you know Sanders Sides, you might recognize this!

So, I might make this into an actual AU and post it somewhere else. Sanders Sides and I have a lot of history now on Wattpad, what with me drawing my friends cosplaying as them so many times- Anyway!

Kokichi has a lot in common with Janus, especially the snake boi's line "Take's a liar to know a liar." I noticed that and decided to draw Kokichi dressed as him!

I guess in this AU the characters are replaced with the Dr characters closest to their personality, but most of the dialogue from Sanders Sides would be the same, and I wanted to kinda mash together the personalities of each Dr character with the SS character they represent. Does that make sense? Cuz I dunno how else to explain it quq

Side note, Kokichi's color palette is pretty much perfect for Deceit's. Even the one yellow eye can be a callback to his beta design, where he had heterochromia. Like can you get any more perfect than that?

Anyway, speaking of Kokichi, we're not done with the little shithead. Add and I now headcanon that he and his "best friend" (*cough* boyfriend *cough*) own a cat together, and the cat becomes a little shit too! :D

Meet Kerfuffle! She's an absolute gremlin, and if she doesn't like you, she's the absolute worst. So, kinda like a normal cat, but even more f e r a l

On a side note, I don't really like this drawing, so I guess just appreciate its content because I have nothing else to add, it was a quick drawing idea .w.

And the last Danganronpa-themed picture of the day, and arguably my favorite-

A shipkid. Of possibly my favorite ship, tied with another-- don't judge me too hard

Now, I have plenty to talk about with this picture! I just absolutely love how it came out. It was a little difficult to use aspects of both his parents' designs, especially because I wanted him to be a robot like Kiibo-kun (I had to djslfd)

It took me forever to figure out his hair and mechanical parts, but I'm glad I took my time. I made his hair basically look like Kokichi's, but sharper and less wavy to try and replicate the synthetic hair Kiiboy has. He also has an antenna-ahoge sticking through his beanie because c'mon, that thing is like a metallic stick-

The blue and yellow accents were only supposed to be in his eyes to give an artificial feel, but I fell in love with them and decided to add them to other parts of his design, and I'm really happy with that!

And may I say, this robot has a good sense of fashion! Though it's kinda funny how his robotic body looks more complicated than his dad's. Oh well!

He's a young wee child, probably around 8 or so, but I decided to draw him as a teen and accidentally made him hot- Though knowing me, it probably wasn't even an accident- He's pretty much like Kokichi, but doesn't lie as often because he's a walking lie detector. And he's the ultimate singer because I found it ironic with how...um, 'charming' Kiibo's singing voice is-

My friend said he looks like a Vocaloid, and now I can't unsee it. I need to make him a voice bank!

Anyway! Jumping from one AU to another, I just... felt a growing urge to draw Mitch doing his dream job

Listen, I just love him. He deserves all the love and a higher pay rate. Then again, all teachers do- Anyway, the colors were a little hard to figure out, but this is basically how Mitch would look as a teacher

I don't really know what else to add, so um... appreciate him, please

There's no segue for this, but let's jump onto some redesigns, shall we?

Starting with the one I made for Addxiety!

I do really like it still. Though we decided it would be his outfit after he starts working for Xiberia, he still looks really good in it!

Some of the details took a while to figure out, but I'm happy with the colors in the end. The peacock tail was... a process, let's just say xD It definitely could look better but I don't draw peacocks enough to be a natural at it-

Both him and Xiberia are gorgeous though, perfect for each other!

Anyway, the next and (surprisingly) last redesign on the list is probably the edgiest thing you will ever see. No seriously, prepare to swoon but also cringe because I can't tell if he's really hot, too edgy, or both-

So, remember Alistair?

Yeah, me neither, cuz I haven't drawn him in forever. One day I wanted to test how pretty I can make a character, and since my friends have always said Alistair's hot, I went and tried to update his design a little!

...Well, that update turned into a full fleshed-out revamp

I need feedback for this one especially quq Maybe it's just me, but something feels off, probably the shirt. Even though I know I shouldn't put anything under his coat beside it because they live underground! But maybe I should've made it baggier or something, I dunno-

And yes, he has eyeshadow. It was a last-minute thing, shhh!

The details I do like. They were tedious but I think it makes him look more like a leader and less like a sports player. I gave him white pupils because... Well, I actually dunno why. They look pretty, I think that's the only reason-

This next picture's only a half-redesign since only one character of the two needed a slight makeover

I don't do enough with a lot of my characters, and Lawson's one of them. And in fact, I realized I never really portrayed his brotherly relationship with Hayden, and recently I got the motivation to do so!

Nice little brother hug! The last time I did this was with Zander and Xander I think, which was a looooong time ago now. And this was really nice and heartwarming to draw!

Hayden didn't change one bit, all thanks to Arthur's amazing redesign. But Lawson needed an update, specifically with his guard outfit, which I planned to keep the same, but couldn't get right. So, he has a different one that makes a little more sense! His wings were also altered a little. Besides that, nothing else really changed, if at all

I like to imagine that they visit each other on their breaks sometimes. Hayden probably brings him some food whenever he comes back from Caramel's café, and Lawson probably comes around to the library to keep him company when he's stressed with his work. They're just great brothers, okay??

Alright, the last thing for today is very... different. And I'm excited to show it too!

It's been a long time since I've drawn ponies. In fact, I think the last time might've been with bases because it's fun sometimes to just not worry about the pose and focus on the hair and accessories. But I digress, after binge-watching a bunch of mane 6 redesigns again, I went "Hey, why not make my own mane 6? Not as a redesign, just my own characters." and thus, an idea was born!

I also took inspiration from people who decided to make unicorns, earth ponies, and pegasi all look different in their own unique ways

Now, did this take forever? Kinda, but it was surprisingly easy and therapeutic at the same time, to do something so different from my usual!

Are they animation-friendly designs? Not in the slightest, but maybe at some point I'll edit some bases to simplify them, just as a 'what if' scenario

Anyhoo, here it is!

I know it's probably hard to make out all the details with all of them in the same picture, which is why I cropped them all and will talk about each individually!

First off, Interstellar, the element of magic. I knew I wanted her to have an astronomy/constellation theme since I remember Twilight being a fan of that, yet her design never really portrayed that. I kept her a unicorn, I dunno if she'd ever turn into an alicorn, or someone else would

I made unicorns tall, slim and elegant with fluffy hooves, gave them the kind of tail I see unicorns having all the time in redesigns, and also kind of went with a goat theme for their noses and eyes (except for Interstellar's here, whose eyes are... quite special)

I knew I wanted all of them to have a unique pattern on their coats, but I struggled with hers for a while. I just didn't like her having dark hair or dark fur, so I ended up putting a dark splash of color on her back, which I do like!

Next is Honeydew, the element of honesty, and probably my least favorite of them all. I dunno, I just feel like she looks too much like Applejack, probably because of the hat, green eyes, and freckles. And even though her hair and colors are pretty different, as well as being themed after a completely different fruit, she still looks too similar. Maybe I should've given her a handkerchief instead?

The fruit's name is cute, but the fruit itself lacks personality and doesn't have an iconic, recognizable shape like apples, so I was struggling with her design for a while. She might change in the future, I'm not sure

I do like how she's built, though! I wanted earth ponies to be muscular and heavy-hooved because of the kind of labor they usually do. I made her super tall too, and her muzzle's different from everyone else's. I think I did a good job countering my same-face syndrome with these guys, which is something I struggle with when drawing humans

Next up, Quartz Divine, the element of generosity. She was just plain fun to do, okay? Her name took forever to come up with (as with most of them), but her design was pretty enjoyable!

I decided to make her part zebra, which is why she's so small compared to average unicorns, like Interstellar. Other than that she mainly has the build of a unicorn, just with stripes! The stripes don't look too great how I drew them, though

I mostly took inspiration from the 'nightmare Rarity' design. I gave her long, flowy hair to style however she pleases, I imagine instead of making outfits, she'd work with gems! Maybe in a lab or something. I also imagine her gaze would be kind of enchanting, and she'd try to seduce whoever she wants to get something from, but not in a malicious way!

All in all, she's a little plain, which is perfect because I feel like she'd accessorize herself all the time with jewelry and all kinds of clothing

This is Marzipan, the element of laughter. Now, I'll be honest, she was by far the easier to do. I immediately knew what kind of colors I wanted to give her, the most trouble she gave me was her hairstyle and name, which weren't too hard to figure out either!

She just came so naturally, which is kinda weird. But I do really like her funky colors and big fluffy hair! Her tri-colored eyes also make her look unique, and oddly enough, she doesn't have hooves

I thought of her being a confectioner, but all the way in Canterlot, and her business would be spread wide throughout many cities. And despite her coming from a noble family, she doesn't look like it at all, and she's a little clumsy too with those thicc hooves-

Next is Whimsy Demure, the element of kindness. She's another one I really like. Actually, the bottom three are probably my favorites. Anyway, I took a lot of inspiration from other speedpaints and made her a little special. I gave her more of a pixie/butterfly theme, though she kinda looks like a breezy

Pegasi are built small and lanky so that they can fly easily, and their wings are usually really big in comparison and aerodynamical. Their coat is feathery, like birds. They usually have short manes so it doesn't get in the way of flying, but Whimsy here isn't really fond of doing that

I don't quite know what she'd do. Maybe she has her own garden, perhaps an oasis or greenhouse, where she keeps endangered animals and plants, and I imagine she'd be a big advocate for keeping nature safe. I also imagine she'd be a lot quieter than Fluttershy

Her colors were a blast to figure out! They're weird, but I really like it!

And finally, Iridescent, the element of loyalty. She's my absolute favorite, which isn't surprising considering Rainbow's been my favorite character from the get-go. She was so much fun! I took inspiration from how bubbles look in the sunshine, and how they have a unique rainbow glare. I definitely wanted to tone down the rainbow theme with her design

She's a typical pegasus, she keeps her mane short and most of it in a ponytail (no pun intended-), she's got massive wings and she also uses goggles! She'd definitely be a part of some sort of weather control, managing hurricanes, storms, tornadoes, and all that, so she definitely takes advantage of her pegasus build

I imagine she comes from a small town, so her cocky attitude comes from not knowing many social cues. She's probably also really overprotective, and can I just say oh my gosh she's so small, like I know Whimsy's the same but can we just appreciate her for a second-

Anyway, I've been rambling about ponies nonstop for ages now, Imma stop. And as a goodbye note, have Mr. BB on a ball!
