By the time Jean and Marco got there you were already finished planning. You were going to do it while walking to the showers when it would be easy to pull him over.
"Happy, (Y/N)?" Jean asked while he past you
"Yes , yes I am," you said while taking your last sip of water.
Jean rolled his eyes
"OK everyone can leave back to there rooms for today!" Commander Erwin shouted
You and Armin walked back together.
Okay I'm an hour at 6:30 is when Jean usually go to the showers." Armin said
"Thanks,"
Later at 6:30 you grabbed a towel and started to leave to follow Jean.
You found him walking slowly to the bathrooms.
"Jean, can I talk to you?" You shouted to him
"What do you want (Y/N)?" He asked
"Just come here,"
He walked to you. Something you noticed that his face was getting red.
"What do you want to know?" He asked
"I want to know why you tried to kill me during training?" You scolded
He was getting more red. He scratched his head and gulped.
"Uh well I was - going for Armin," he said
"What!?"
"Look I wasn't trying to knock you off or him I just wanted him to not be able to help you,"
"Um I was the one helping him,"
"Well I didn't know, I wanted to be the one to finally help you,"
"Why? You hate me,"
"Well (Y/N) I always sort of liked you, but you don't like me,"
You were surprised by this. However it had proven your theory correct. Jean did it thinking he could be the one to help you instead of Armin. Not knowing you were the one helping him.
"Oh.., thanks Jean I'll be off" you said in a hurry
"W-wait (Y/N)!"
But you were already in the shower room.
