I stood there with a shocking face, as my legs were shaking to see the horrifying scene in front of me. Yes, maybe Cresseda and I never get along but I never wanted to hurt her. Seeing her lifeless body lying on the floor I felt an unknown fear in myself. My eyes are repeatedly looking at her stone eyes that were stating that she died out of utter shock. The blood has been sucked out of her body leaving behind the pale skin which was showing her stopped veins.

I gasped as I almost fell on the floor. The scene from yesterday repeatedly went on my mind when we had arguments. Tears were rolling down from my eyes. As I lost my sense. This was all of a sudden. Luckily Felix was there to hold me before I fell to the ground. Jenny and Brad came towards me while Priam noticed my condition. He was worried about me and want to come towards me, but he stopped as soon as he saw Felix was there behind me holding my shoulders. 

He clenched his hands while his eyes were still on mine. Jennifer Holds his hands and started to cry on his shoulder. Somehow my eyes fall on them. Priam was patting her head. A fit of sudden jealousy and uncomfortable spread on my face seeing them so close. John was standing right behind them. 

All of a sudden the someone came in the front pushing the crowd. I looked up and saw Professor Hyle, Professor Dunston, and Professor Judo. They gasped looking at the scene and they looked around to see all the students looking at her in horrified.

Professor Hyle immediately asked the students-" Who saw this first?"

Nobody answered at first as they stand in fear. And then, a girl from behind spoke within the crowd in low voice-" P-Professor I saw her, t-this morning and I- I screamed and my friends followed me here"

Professor Dunston understood the students were horrified due to the incidents that happened so he said in a calm tone-" Okay, you must return to the classes now. We will take care"

The students were dispersing as suddenly Jennifer spoke while sobbing-" You- You did this right?"

We all turned back not knowing who she was blaming. To my surprise, she was pointing towards me. I frowned as I asked-" What do you mean?"

She walked a little towards me as she said again-" Don't try to act innocent Shawna, I know you had arguments yesterday with her. You never liked her. And yesterday you were trying to seduce his boyfriend, and to that..." she sobbed and continued-" You-You took revenge on that?"

Professor Dunston immediately spoke to calm the situation down-" Miss Lenin, you should know that you are bringing a serious accusation towards Parshawna!!!"

I was standing there dumbfounded as she was accusing me. She said-" Professor, you can ask anyone, Everyone in this college knew that she was jealous of us. She didn't ever like Cresseda. Also yesterday she was seen with Felix, My slave, outside the class. Cresseda saw this and couldn't control her anger and they have an argument. and this is all because she loved him. And today we found her dead!!! What should we think of this? This isn't new that she brought the students of WWS in danger. We all know, how she and her cursed life had made us suffer, the prince and her friends!!!. Even I and my friends were trapped and it was all because of her."

She looked at me with her raging eyes. I couldn't stop crying as she was keeping accusing me. Somewhere I felt guilty. Guilty of the presence of my fate. It was the truth, after all, I have made them suffer. If not for me, they wouldn't have been encountered such a situation. 

Felix spoke after a while as he couldn't stand still-" I am sorry to speak in between, but she had nothing to do with this. "

Jennifer looked at him in anger as she asked-" And how are you so sure of it?"

He said while looking at me-" Because she was there with me all night"

My eyes were wide in shock as he stated the statement. I was too shocked to utter any word, as he continued-" Yesterday night Shawna, Jenny, Brad, Junnie and I were in the hall room till late night as she was helping me with the notes. After that, She went with me to help me complete the assignment task given by Professor Judo. She came to class after that and since then she is with us"

Jennifer looked furiously towards Felix as she gritted her teeth for defending me. Professor Hyle said-" You all may leave now. We will investigate this matter and will come to a result till then no one should be falsely accused. "

I looked at Priam one last time before leaving from there. He was looking at me with anger and disappointment in his eyes. I have to make it clear that it was not true. I was not with him, but I also am not the culprit. But he left with John before I could make any move Jenny left with John as he called her. Brad, Junnie, and Felix helped me to come to my room as I sit on my bed.

Junnie said while hugging me-" I know Shawna you didn't do anything wrong, Just don't listen to her okay?"

I nodded while I said-" I know. I am not thinking of her right now. I know she is in pain too, losing her friend."

Felix said while looking at me in confusion-" Are you still thinking about her pain, while she was accusing you?"

I looked at him as I said-" Felix I know the pain of losing someone close. I don't blame her, but... Why did you lie that I was with you last night? I was not..."

Before I say further he said-" I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable but I did that to save you."

I asked while frowning-" Huh?"

he looked down as he said-" you can say it's a perk of being a slave that we can somehow sense the master's mind. And I had sensed that she was trying to make you fall in trouble. So I had to lie"

Junnie and I looked at him in shock as Brad said-" But lying is not a solution. We could have stuck to the truth, as we all know she is innocent"

Felix looked at Brad in his eyes as he asked-" Could you have proved that if she made a false accusation and set the trap?"

Brad couldn't reply as he looked away in frustration. Felix said-" I am sorry princess if I made you uncomfortable, but as a friend, I did what I suppose to"

I smiled a little as I nod my head and said-" It's okay. I understand. Moreover, you did it knowing your threats. Jennifer must be angry with you for defending me. Are you sure you will be okay?"

He just nodded while looking away. Brad said-" Okay, Shawna you take a rest and don't stress out. I have to go now. I will see you after school"

I nodded as he kissed Junnie on her cheeks and waved at us before leaving.

Junnie left after some time and I was left with Felix in my room. An awkward silence falls all over the room as I decided to break it saying-" I am sorry for your loss. You must miss her?"

He looked at me with confusion raising one eyebrow. I said confirming-" Cresseda".

He nodded while looking away and said-" Yes. I do." Suddenly he started crying as I stood up from my bed and walked towards him. I sat beside him in the chair and patted his back. I said-" Shhh!!! It's okay. They will find the culprit and he will be punished."

He hold onto my arms as he sobbed harder. I felt a sudden shock by his touch but I understood he need a friend right now so I hold his hands and keep patting his head.

PRIAM'S POV:

I was worried about Shawna, I know she is innocent. I was supposed to stand beside her, ah!!! foolish me, I was taken aback by the jealousy. Why is that Felix always with her nowadays? She didn't even come to meet me. I thought to give her a surprise with her favorite blue roses this evening. Ahhh!!!! I messed up..... I pushed my hair back in frustration. Then an idea popped into my head. I have a spare time now. I should go to her. She must have been crying. I want to be with her at this time. And I should bring this flower to her also, I hope she smiles seeing this. I would say sorry too.

Without wasting any minute, I used towards her room, as I was going to knock at her door, I heard someone's voice. Someone was sobbing. Is she all right? Who is she with at this hour? Jenny is with John today, and Brad was supposed to be in the lab with his examination, I saw Junnie going towards the library just now... then...?

Her door was opened so I pushed the door slightly and the world stopped before me. I saw Felix was sobbing in her embrace. She was consoling her. No... this can't be... is she in love with him? Does my love not mean anything to her these years? 

The roses falls on her door as I went from there, with unknown pain and sadness in my heart.

SHAWNA'S POV:

Felix was crying hard and I felt bad for him. I let him cry to let his pain flow away. He suddenly said-" You know being a slave...I have regret just one thing!!!"

He looked up at me as I was a little confused, so I asked-" What?"

He said-" My mother!!!! She was a human. My father was a monster. he never loved my mother, He just used her. While she was forced to be a slave here... he raped her... tortured her.... and!!!! " He sighed as I could feel the pain in his eyes. He continued-" he loved my mother's sister, but unfortunately, I was born. While I was just a child, he sold us to an old man who used to beat my mother to make her a slave. And my father,... He sold us..... My mother died after a few years. Her family never tried to know about her though. While I grew up, he used to torture me too for several years. One day somehow I met a wizard in the town and he took me here with him. It was Mr. Lenin. They made me their slave but they gave me shelter and food. This is why I am always grateful to them."

He sobbed as he was saying his story. I listen to him as I felt bad. He said-" You were used to living in the human world before right?"

I nodded slightly as he asked out of nowhere-" Can you take me there once? I want to see my mother's home... I know I cannot bring her back... but at least I could use some new memory so that I can go back to time again and again... remembering her...."

I stared at him blankly as I don't know what to say. He said-" As a slave, I cannot ask them anything more from what they were giving me. But for once I wish I could see her world..... Shawna, you are my friend and you have the golden wand too. can you take me?"

I frowned and asked-" how do you know about the golden wand?"

He looked at me with a poker face as he said-" Jennifer and Cresseda were discussing once, I heard how powerful it is. " He looked at me for a few seconds as he spoke once again while looking down-" It's okay if you didn't want to... I know I shouldn't have asked this much" he chuckled sadly. 

I looked at him as I felt guilty and sad for him. I said-" N-No it's not like that, but the thing is I don't know much about the wand yet. Granny said to keep it safe and once the time come she will tell me. I haven't used it in a while and I use it only when it is necessary"

He gasped as he heard that and said-" don't tell me you don't know the power of the golden wand yet?"

I nodded slightly as I felt a little embarrassed. He sighed and said-" I have something which will help you to know more about the powers of the golden wand. I can help you!"

He looked at me with sincere eyes as I felt, might be he was the only one who could help me. I blinked a few times as I felt bad for him too. I thought it was a great opportunity. The golden wand was with me for a long time now and I don't know much about it, Granny told me I will know when the time comes, but when. I should know about it now so that I can use it properly also help others. Also, I should ask for a favor from him... I bet he won't deny it.

I looked at him and said-"Okay I will"

He smiled widely as he hugged me in happiness. I was taken aback as he realized and left me while standing a few inches away while scratching his back smiling nervously. He said-" I am sorry, I got carried away... I am so happy you chose to trust me"

We both smiled.

I was still in a debate whether to ask him or not... But finally, I asked-" Felix? c-can I ask you for an f-favor?" He looked at me with squinted eyes and replied-" Of course... anything..."

I stood there while looking down thinking how to ask him anyway?!!! Just then he holds my hands and said-" Do you want to visit your mother's past?"

I looked at him with my eyes widened as I stood like a statue right there... He chuckled slightly as he said-" It's okay... you can ask me, anything princess... I would be more than happy to help you"

I could say anything at that moment as lots of things were going on my mind!! My mother's past... Will I be able to see her again with my eyes? This is so overwhelming as well as painful!!! I know she is dead!! And I am going to witness her horrific life misery right now. But I am ready... Ready to know what happened that day... I must know and that is the only way I can prove her innocence.

I looked at him as I nodded my head with confidence. Internally I was scared and confused to think will I be able to handle it?

He nodded as he holds my shoulder. He said-" I am sending you there right now... Just hold on... Remember you should not be seen by them... or touch anything... and as soon as you want to come out just whisper my name, okay?" 

I nodded my head as he did what he said. And soon I reached the time where once again I saw my mother.!!!

WWS HEADMASTER'S ROOM

PROFESSOR DUNSTON'S POV:

I was thinking something serious as Queen Harney walked in along with King Jonny and King Nashall.

Harney asked-" Is it true what I heard?"

I said while nodding his head as he walked away from my chair-" Yes. The Night Riders are back"

King Jonny and Nashall gasped while looking at the dead body that we have preserved in a glass coffin.

I said-" Her skin was dried and pale. the blood has been sucked out from her neck. Looking at her eyes, she was shocked that it was open, that means, she knew who was it, and it was someone who is inside our school."

Jonny growled -"No... Venom... he cannot be back!!! He died!!!" He looked at me with his confused face. I don't know what to answer either... I don't know about Venom, but yes the NIght Riders are back. I sighed as he said in his fuming eyes-" How can you sit calm as the Night Rider is at school? the life of these poor students is under threat!!!"

I turned towards him saying-" I am well aware of the fact King Jonny but we cannot do anything as of now. The Night Riders have been gone for a while now and a sudden comeback is not just a coincidence. They must have plans. Unless and until we get any clue we cannot take direct action saying the names of Night Rider. If the Night Rider comes to know that we are searching the whole school. we will be attacked and we are not prepared yet. We even don't know if he...." I sighed as I looked up and said-" Venom is dead!!! But his people have risen... the threat is still there"

Harney said-" he is right Jonny"

Jonny asked-" Then what must we do, mother?"

King Nashall spoke from behind as he walked inside-" Call Ben Dunnie, he is the only one who can help".
