Parker (PT. 1)

"Buddy" His social worker, Ne-yo states, a solemn expression on their face, "I am sincerely sorry for your loss. You don't deserve such a bad streak of luck, bud."

"It's fine," The teen states, a weary expression sewn to his beautiful face.

Many people say foster care is terrible. Parker, for one, is thankful for every new opportunity of a new home and a makeshift family. Sadly, The System gets so much negative feedback that the stigma for it is worse than those who have been diagnosed with depression.

Every medical disease and sad family/personal issue has a negative stigma. The news only covers the negativeness of ideas, rather than expressing those of who have been adopted by an amazing family or have survived cancer.

But after going through the cycle of foster families to orphanage to new parents multiple times, Parker begins to doubt his luck. Being know as the orphaned orphan kid is terrible.

"Okay Parker," Ne-yo sighed apologetically, "we have two options. One, we transfer you to a different area in order to find better foster parents and more available homes. Two, we stay here and just keep you in Hetsy Orphanage.

"Although it's your choice, I would advise you to choose the relocation option. There are many families looking for a child just like you. Also, Hetsy sucks ass. But if you want to stay here, I won't stop you. I'll support you through every step and try to do everything in my power to help you find a suitable home. Take your time, though," Ne-yo finishes, a small smile on their face.

Ne-yo Jaime Waverka has short auburn hair with red tips, black glasses, and pale green eyes. Standing at 5'11", Ne-yo has a slight intimidation factor. The genderless person is like an older sibling towards Parker, making sure he is safe and happy whenever they are able to. Of course, there have been a few times where Parker was left in a bad situation for a little more time than usual, the boy ended up admitting that he had been facing cruel treatment and was placed into a better situation.

Parker fiddled with the sleeves of his hunter green hoodie, eyes flitting around the room, "The relocation option sounds ideal," He murmurs, sitting up from the park bench they were seated on. Ne-yo nods with a bright smile.

"Looks like we're heading to America, my child," They stated, a grin on their lips. Parker smiled softly, taking Ne-yo's outstretched hand.
