For Heaven To Be A Haven
They say we'll reunite in Heaven someday
Although our earthly being wasn't that bad
I'd prefer afterlife is not a replay
-
I'll be untethered and completely unclad
No regulations, no one keeping me down
Forever grateful for the life I once had
-
When I receive my wings and flowing long gown
That sacred home becomes a haven posthaste
I'll fly undaunted through my wondrous ghost town
-
To start anew with those same humans I've faced
Seems repetitious, pointless, and outright waste
