"you asshole!"

"you'll put your clothes in this part of the closet, and I'll get this part." mia pointed to the left side of the big, old furniture in front of them, as juyeon nodded. "got it, baby."
"stop flattering me and get on with the work. all those things won't get in place by themselves." she said, lightly punching his arm as she took a big box and brought it closer to the both of them. "here, start with these."
"why do I have to do this alone?" he asked, as she wore her coat (the one that juyeon vividly remembers he'd slammed on her face) and slid her backpack over her shoulder. "gotta do some work by the office."
"but it's saturday, and as much as I remember, we don't have work on weekends." he said, placing the box he was holding on the bed and coming closer. he placed his hands on her arms and started tracing comforting circles on them.
"don't overwork yourself, okay?" he said, as mia took his hand and placed a small kiss at the back of it. "I won't, I promise." with that, she left, and the raven found himself lost in the many boxes surrounding him.
juyeon and mia decided to move in together, since they've been dating for almost a month, and if they started with living together, it would luckily strengthen their relationship and feelings.
as if their love for each other wasn't enough already.
juyeon has grown frustrated with the placement of each of his belongings, especially when he didn't want to ruin anything on her neat and clean house. other than the closet and the beds (cause they preferred sleeping in two different ones for the first weeks) they haven't decided on anything else.
he threw his body on his bed, glancing over hers, which had the distance of three metres. he extended his hand as if trying to reach for it, then let it fall on the mattress and bounce.
"good afternoon mr yeo." mia bowed at her boss, his sweet smile never failing to take her aback (he always seemed like the serious guy no one wanted to mess with, yet she grew to love his dorky side).
"you know what's annoying? I've told you so many times to just call me by my name. hwanwoong, h-w-a-n-w-o-o-n-g." he growled in frustration, mia laughing as she let her backpack on her desk and took off her coat.
"whatever. what is it that you wanted to tell me about? you said it's quite important." the last time mia heard something important, it came much to her disadvantage.
what about this time?
"oh, right. well, since you've been our most recent add, we decided that it'll be better for our new intern to work along with you. you know, just to help him out and such, and maybe you can both learn something new together."
"does that even make sense?" he then asked himself, tapping his bottom lip as mia rolled her eyes. "whatever you say doesn't make sense." she said, as she walked away into the small coffee stall, hwanwoong widening his eyes in surprise. "I-"
"shit, we ran out of coffee!" mia yelled at him, turning around and pointing at her empty cup. "we. just. run. out. of. coffee!" youngjo did his cross, as he glanced over dongju, who clasped his hands together and started praying.
"jesus christ, bless this poor soul, who has gotten sinful addiction to coffee. I hope for her soul's cleanse. amen." he did his cross too, followed by youngjo doing the same for the second time in row.
"yeah, as if you ain't addicted in coffee or what!" she fired back, as she sighed and went into the small kitchen the office had. opening the door, a tall figure was already standing in there, as mia didn't pay much of attention to them.
she hummed along the song playing on the radio, as she looked up some shelves while tapping on them. soon enough, she found a small box with a powder-like refill of coffee.
she tried to reach for it, yet it was too high for her. the tall figure kept an eye on her all this time, slightly chuckling as her small jumps didn't really help her reach the item.
"may I help?" he asked, taking a sip of his own cup and placing it on the counter, walking up to her and then reaching his hand up to get the box. mia looked at him astonished, as he handed it to her.
"here." he mumbled, as mia nodded, eyes still on the floor. "th-thanks!" she said, head raising up to face the one who basically 'saved her day'.
time seemed to slow down, as juyeon felt a draft of cold air running over his body, then hopped into the shower and let the water run. it was hot, and it caused a hum of satisfaction escape his thin lips.
while massaging his scalp, he kept his mind occupied with mia. she had left almost three hours ago and haven't gotten back safely. where could she be anyways?
his mind didn't stop thinking of some possible scenarios, until he got out of the shower and dried up his hair with a small towel. he then took a bigger one and wrapped it around his lower abdomen, before he opened the door.
he had forgotten the window open, so it was all expected for him to hiss in annoyance, as he ran over it and shut it close. he sighed, plopping himself in his bed as he reached for his phone.
tapping on mia's contact, he brought the phone to his ear and let it ring for twenty times, before he looked at the screen with furrowed brows.
he called again, and again, and again, with the barely same amount of rings making his ears have the illusion that he was still waiting, even if the phone was laying in his lap, locked and dead of battery.
he huffed in worry, hands behind his head as he almost fell asleep. he had already gotten dressed up, his black hood covering his head, as his gaze was fixated on the ceiling.
the door opened with a creak, making him jerk up as if he just got hit by a lightning. he ran his way to her, hands already extended to welcome her in his embrace.
"mia? where were you?" as much as he didn't want that, his voice came out loud and shaky, causing the girl to flinch. looking at her from this close, juyeon could see the glistening paths formed under her eyes, flowing down her cheeks and making droplets in her chin, that would fall and stain the carpet.
"w-why are you crying?" he asked, as he embraced her even tighter and let his hand caress comforting circles in her back. soon enough, mia jerked up and his shoulder started feeling wet, and unbeknownst him, the hug got tighter, and tighter...
oddly enough, mia felt familiar with the warmth once again, she felt the love radiating, and she liked it. it felt as if the reason she was crying was nothing but a silly excuse to let more tears drip down her orbs.
at a time like this, she'd call kevin, talk to him about it and ask for his advice. he then would spend all his night with his phone on his ear, telling jokes to calm her down and giving his best of advice.
but now, there was no kevin. kevin was far away, both in distance and in her own heart. she started regretting her actions, how she pushed him and never called him to ask how he's been doing.
he had left many texts that soon died out, especially when she blocked him for the sake of her relationship with juyeon. calls were a daily thing, but she never picked up.
in fact, she wanted to call him back, but she was afraid. how would he even react after almost two weeks of ignoring him? would he even want to talk to her (how much to meet her)?
mia was confused, hurt and she just wanted nothing but this to be a silly dream, that she'd wake up to the pure reality, where kevin is here, and where juyeon was no one but a stranger.
