Awkward silence filled the empty flower shop as Harry stands off to the side, my two brothers giving him the evil eye, "Guys, stop," I groan.
Liam had fled the scene with Louis who had came by to pick him up for lunch. He obviously didn't want to get in between whatever was going on here and I didn't blame him. I didn't want to be here myself.
"Well, how are you expecting us to react?" Theo snaps, crossing his arms in front of him, "We just walked in on you making out with a guy we don't know and your dress halfway up your ass!"
Oliver nods his head in agreement, "I really didn't plan on seeing my sister in her underwear today."
Theo and Oliver. My two younger brothers who never failed to speak their opinion on everything. Theo was two years younger than me while Oliver was five, yet they acted as if they were the older siblings.
"Have you ever heard of knocking?" I say sarcastically, glancing towards the door to make sure nobody was about to walk into the store.
Theo lets out a sharp laugh as he rolls his eyes at me, "Why should we feel the need to knock on a door to your storage room? How were we supposed to know you were in the middle of a makeout session?"
I roll my eyes as I glance over at Harry, noticing how embarrassed he looked, "What are you two even doing here?" What was it with relatives coming to see me all in the same week? First McKenna and now my brothers.
"Well we came to surprise you since we haven't seen you since January," Oliver starts, glancing between me and Harry, "but it looks like we were the ones who were getting a surprise."
"Shouldn't you two be at school and work?" I cross my arms over my chest.
"I took the week off and this one," Theo jabs his thumb over to Oliver who then gives me a sheepish grin, "Thought it would be a good idea to skip classes for an entire week."
"Olly!" I scold him, knowing how pissed mom and dad were going to be.
Oliver rolls his eyes at my tone of voice, "Relax. It's just art school. My professors don't give a shit."
The mention of art school sparked Harry's interest as he cleared his throat, "You go to art school?" He asks Oliver.
"Yes, I do mystery man. What's it to you?" He snaps at him and I immediately smack his arm at his rude tone, "Ow, Rory!"
"Be nice," I mutter to him, reaching behind me to grab Harry's hand. I pull him beside me and take a deep breath, "This is Harry. Harry, this is Theo and Oliver, my two younger brothers who don't know how to be nice to strangers."
Harry sticks out his hand and I shoot daggers at Theo, motioning for him to shake Harry's hand, "Nice to meet you," Harry says kindly as he shakes Theo's hand, moving on to Oliver who also reluctantly shakes Harry's hand.
"What do you do, Harry?" Theo asks him, emphasizing his name.
"I'm an artist, actually," Harry states, staring at Oliver.
Olly's mouth opens slightly at Harry's words, shock written all over his face, "Is your last name Styles?" Harry nods his head and Oliver lets out a string of curse words, "Holy shit. No fucking way you're dating Harry Styles, Rory. There's no fucking way."
"What?" I laugh, looking up at Harry who also looked equally confused at Oliver's reaction.
"He's only one of the most famous artists in Europe. I studied his art for one of my projects in school," he rambles on.
"Why don't you two go talk while I talk to T?" I push Harry towards the corner, winking at him as Oliver starts talking his ear off about how he aspires to be as good as him, "I'm sorry you had to see that, T. It's just as embarrassing for me as it is for you."
Theo shrugs his shoulders, leaning his back against the counter behind him, "It's fine. It's not like you haven't walked in on me making out with a girl before," he chuckles softly and I remember the time when I walked into his bedroom to ask him a question and instead saw a girl straddling him with her top off.
"Definitely true," I giggle.
Theo was always the one person I could talk to if anything was ever bothering me. He was the shoulder I cried on when Niall and I first broke up, and the person I always called in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep because I was crying so hard. He was less like my brother and more like my best friend that I just so happened to be related to.
"Did you know McKenna was here?" I ask him.
"What? No," he says frantically, his dislike for her just as strong as mine, "What the hell is she doing here?"
"She said she's 'taking a break' from school and is visiting me for a month," I roll my eyes.
He scoffs as he glances over at Oliver and Harry who were thoroughly engaged in a conversation about art "How long have you known him?"
"Almost three months," I reply, both of us staring at Harry and Oliver as they talked, "I think you'll like him."
"He seems nice," Theo agrees, although I knew he was a bit skeptical. He always has been when it came to me and boys, doing the whole protective brother act.
"He really is, T," I sigh, "I think I love him."
That was the first time I ever admitted it out loud and it felt good to finally say it. I had been keeping it inside of me for what seemed like forever, yet I knew I had only just realized it last week. I was hoping that if I finally said it out loud, I would realize that it really was infatuation, but it only made me realize even more that I truly was in love with him.
Theo doesn't say anything. He only nods his head, as if he somehow already knew.
"I asked Ivy to marry me," he says quietly and I almost choke on my spit at his words, letting out a small cough as I turn to face him.
"You did?" I squeak. He nods his head without showing any emotion, "Well what the hell did she say?"
"She said yes," he smiles and I instantly squeal with excitement, pulling him in for a hug.
My excitement draws the attention of Harry and Oliver and they walk back over to us, "Oh my god, T! That's so exciting! I'm so happy for you!" I smile at him.
"I'm guessing you told her?" Oliver chuckles and I pull him into me, hugging both Oliver and Theo at the same time.
"I love you guys so much," I sigh, realizing exactly how much I miss my family when I'm away from them.
I peer over Theo's shoulder to see Harry staring at us, a wide smile on his face that caused my heart to flutter. The look in his eyes told me exactly what I needed to know during that moment and gave me the answer to the question he had asked me, my heart filled with so much love for him that I almost blurted it out right then and there. I almost said I love you.

"You really don't need to do this," I tell Harry as we walk up his stairs towards his apartment, Theo and Oliver behind us.
"I want to," he smiles at me as he sticks his key into the door, "Besides, Oliver wanted to see my studio."
I had closed my store down early today, that only happening once in a blue moon. Harry had offered that we go back to his place and celebrate Theo's engagement, while Oliver had practically been begging him to show him his studio.
My brothers warmed up to Harry pretty fast, something they didn't do with Niall. It probably helped that Oliver immediately liked him and Theo could tell how much I cared about him.
It wasn't that I didn't care about Niall - I did, I truly did - but something with Harry felt different. It was as if I was drawn to him faster and quicker than I was with Niall. He made my heart feel so full and warm, my insides turning into liquid anytime he stared at me and my brain turning into mush when he touched me.
I couldn't function properly when Harry was around me. It was like all of my knowledge about life and reality went out the window and I was sucked into another world. A world that only revolved around him and how he makes me feel. It was like I was living in a real-life fairytale and Harry was my knight in shining armor, saving me from all of the evil in the world.
"So this is my studio," Harry says brightly as we enter his now-familiar studio.
I smile at Oliver's reaction. He had this look on his face as if it were Christmas and he had just received all of the presents in the world, "He looks like he's about to piss himself," Theo whispers in my ear and I let out a loud laugh.
"He's just excited," I smile, watching as Harry shows him a few of his favorite paintbrushes, "Its not every day you get to meet your idol."
Theo hums softly, "Well you would think with him growing up in dad's studio he'd be used to all of this expensive stuff."
"As I said," I turn to him and ruffle his brown hair, "Its not every day you get to meet your idol," I repeat myself.
"Are these some new ones you've painted?" Oliver says excitedly as he walks over to a few canvases that were covered with a white cloth, reaching out to grasp the soft material, "Can I see them?"
"Not yet," Harry says quickly, glancing at me quickly before looking away again, "I'm having another exhibit next year. That's when you can see them," he explains before making sure they were still covered up.
Oliver doesn't question it as he walks over the window that made up an entire wall, staring at the gorgeous view of Rome, "No wonder all of your artwork is amazing. If I had this view, I know I'd create some masterpieces."
"I have some extra canvases if you want to paint right now," Harry offers and Oliver's face instantly brightens.
"Seriously?" He quivers, his hands starting to shake with excitement.
"Yeah," Harry smiles before grabbing an extra easel and canvas, setting it down beside his usual place where he paints.
Oliver turns to look at me with nothing but pure happiness on his face, "I swear if you don't marry this guy Rory, you're insane."
I laugh softly at his words, just happy that my baby brother was happy, "Mind if I join you?" Theo asks, "I haven't painted in a while."
"Of course," Harry says before grabbing yet another easel and canvas, setting it down beside Olly, "What about you, Aurora?"
"No," I shake my head, "You know I can't draw or paint worth a shit."
"It's true," Theo and Oliver say in unison, causing a small chuckle to escape Harry's red lips.
I watch as Harry grabs all of the supplies they need, setting a table down for both Theo and Oliver that was filled with different paintbrushes and different colored paint.
They talk amongst themselves as they begin to paint while I sit on the couch, observing them as they laugh with paintbrushes in their hands. It was a beautiful sight seeing the three most important men in your life talking and getting along, almost like a painting itself.
Harry glances over at me, sending me a toothy smile. I smile back at him and start to say something when Oliver grabs his attention, asking him about which direction he moves his paint strokes in.
"I'm going to get something to drink," I clear my throat as I get up off of the couch, "Does anybody want anything?"
Theo and Oliver both ask for water and I nod my head before leaving the room, making my way towards the kitchen. I look at the now-familiar pictures in frames that line the walls of the hallway, stopping once I see a new frame at the end of the hallway.
It was a picture of Harry and me on the beach of Sicily, Liam having taken the picture as Harry was picking me up and twirling me around in the ocean, the biggest smiles on both of our faces. I didn't realize that Harry had printed it out and framed it.
"I hope it's okay that I put that there," Harry says from behind me, causing me to jump, "It was a good memory and I wanted to frame it."
I turn around to look at him, noticing a small dab of paint on his forehead. He had paint on his hands as well, different shades of pink and orange now dried onto his skin, "I like it," I smile up at him, taking his paint-covered hands and bringing them up to my face.
He presses his fingers into my skin, rubbing his thumbs softly across my cheeks, "I'm glad," He whispers, sweet minty breath fanning across my face. He leans down as I lean forward, our lips meeting in a soft and sweet kiss.
"I feel like all we ever do is kiss," I mumble as he starts pressing wet kisses along my jawline.
"That's not true," Harry says in between kisses, "We talk."
My breath hitches in my throat as he starts leaving kisses down my neck, "When?"
"When we're not kissing," he chuckles and I bite my bottom lip as I laugh, pulling on his curls, "Do you want me to stop kissing you?" He pulls away from my neck, leaving me feeling empty.
"No," I breathe, pulling his head back down to me. He smiles against my lips, trailing his hands from my face down to my side, stopping at my thighs. He lifts me up as I wrap my legs around his waist, backing us up until my back hits the wall with a thud.
Hoping Theo and Oliver didn't hear anything, I kiss him harder, pressing my body tightly against his until there wasn't anything between us but the fabric of our clothes clinging to our bodies. I'm once again reminded that I'm wearing a dress, the fabric of my underwear touching Harry's shirt while my thighs are wrapped tightly around his waist.
"Harry," I breathe out against his lips as I tug at his curls, eliciting a moan from his mouth. Evidently, he liked it when I pulled at his hair, the action turning him on.
"You're making it really hard for me to take it slow," Harry moans against my mouth and I smile, liking the effect I had on him. I hum as I bite his bottom lip gently, feeling him shiver.
"Yes," I pull away from his lips, relishing the way they looked so swollen and red.
He tilts his head to the side slightly, not understanding why I said yes, "Yes what?"
"I'll go to your sister's wedding with you."
He instantly smiles a genuine smile, his green eyes becoming lighter in color, "Seriously?"
"Seriously," I smile, pushing his curls away from his forehead.
He kisses me again, the grip he had on my thighs becoming tighter as he held me close to him, "You make me so happy, Aurora."
"You make me so happy too, Harry."
And that was all we needed in this cruel world of ours.
Happiness.
