She looked at me with pleading eyes. But I didn’t budge. She let out a sigh and made herself comfortable in bed. {She is fine with sharing bed? It is the best day in my life!}

I switched off the light. All we felt for a while, was darkness and silence. I was about to drift into sleep when I barely heard her whisper “Good night Hari!”

A smile formed on my face. “I love you, Siri!”

Next morning, I woke to the smell of coffee. I found Siri in kitchen, preparing breakfast.

“Need help?” I offered.

She smiled as she turned to me with a cup of coffee. “No, it is almost done. You can freshen up meanwhile.” I nodded.

After enjoying the wonderful coffee on the pleasant morning, I took a shower. On exiting the bedroom, I found Siri at dining space, waiting with breakfast which happened to be my favourite dish.

But I had got a new favourite by then … her smile.

We silently finished breakfast and once my tummy was full, I complemented her for the delicious food. She blushed. 

While she cleaned, I surfed through channels in T.V. There was nothing interesting to watch. So, when she sat beside me on couch, I switched off the T.V. and turned to her. “What shall we do today?”

She bit her lower lip trying to think and I tried hard not to stare. Finally, she spoke. “I was hoping if you could help me with the project and assignments.”

{Oh! Well … academics.
But still, I can spend some time with her and get to know her.} I nodded.

Her face lit up. “Thank you!” she grinned and I smiled.

I picked my laptop and settled on the bed in my room, while she brought hers and a few books. She sat beside me and I couldn’t help but notice the fact that it was the first time, she willingly sat closer to me. {Improvement! I guess.}

“So … what have you planned to do?” I asked, checking my mails.

“I asked Bhoomi to collect the important facts and trivia, while I decided to work on the model.” She said, skimming through her mails.

“Are you sure, you can do it alone? It is a lot to do.” I glanced at her sideways. She was silent for a while. When I almost thought, she didn’t hear me, she answered.

“I have you.” Which was barely a whisper.

“Come again.” I turned to her now, unable to believe my ears.

“Aren’t you going to help me?” She looked alarmed now.

“Of course, I am.” I flashed her a smile and she blushed.

{She’s blushing a lot, lately.
Looks like your charms are working.
I am not going to ask you to shut-up.
That is a first! I am honoured.
Ok, maybe; I should ask you to shut up.
Ah! Knew you can’t resist me.
Shut up}
I must have looked like a fool, chuckling at myself; because Siri stopped her work and stared at me. I shook my head and asked her to continue explaining her plans to me.
