'My eyes wonder the world, but heart remains the same.'

The cold nights like this often would bring back some memories. Some sweet, some bitter.

And Jin was lost in some similar of those.

Every since this world has born, he has been here and has witnessed numerous things. Good and bad both. If things are good, it's all good. And if they're bad, then that's what he is there for.

Everytime things start getting on bad side, he descends on the earth.

The Moon God himself.

During such one of his voyages, some 4-5 centuries back, he saw a Prince.

This Prince was like a sweet dream for him. Even though he himself was a God, the Prince was even more than that for him. Brave and very handsome.

Namjoon was his name.

So Jin started visiting Prince's kingdom often, in hopes of meeting him. And soon the they came face to face during the Prince was out hunting at the river.

That sealed their fate.

Both the Prince and the Moon God fell crazily in love with each other. Nothing could make them happy other than each other.

But things again started getting bad, and they were caught. They were unnatural pair in other's eyes. So Namjoon being a human, was punished with curse to fall in a slumber for very long time. And Jin was cursed to go back in sky and go through waxing and waning every 15 days.

Jin could visit earth whenever but he could never visit Namjoon in the cave unless it was full moon. Namjoon happily accepted the curse because he was happy as long as he could feel Jin from the cave even in his slumber state.

Ever since then, they would eagerly wait for the full moon so Namjoon could wake up for a night and Jin could visit him...

Till today, it continued. Their pure love brought them immortality and tranquility even in these conditions.

'Its not the best. But we still have each other and it's the happy ending for me. And everyone has their happy ending.', Jin though smiling looking at the sky.

He remembered that night years back....

Flashback:

"Jinnie... He hit me again!!"

Jin looked pitifully at the little boy who was sobbing hysterically. His little fists were clenching over his face which has gone red from crying and also he could see some finger prints over his little cheek which was swollen painfully and apparently was the reason why he was crying.

"Jaehwanie... Stop crying...", Jin said while taking the boy in his embrace. Trying to calm him down. But the boy couldn't stop crying. The boy always acted very strong. He never even let out even a whine against anything. But if he's crying this badly now, something must have happened.

The boy's clothes were looking worse than some servants. If anyone would see him like this, no one would believe that this is the Prince of Busan.

"Will you tell me what happened?", Jin asked in a soft voice. The little 7 year old pup looked at Jin with his beautiful doe eyes still stained with tears.

"Lisa lied to her father that I was stealing the sweets and when she caught me I screamed at her!! But that's not true... I didn't even eat anything since yesterday. Yet he... he slapped me and punished me to starve whole day...", Jaehwan cried out. Jin's heart clenched at the sight.

"Please take me with you Jinnie...", Jae-hwan tugged at Jin's hand begging to take him away from this hell hole.

"I can't, love. You have to fight for yourself. Just be brave and never lose hope.", Jin said patting on his back.

"But why... There's no one left for me. Even you are not accepting me...", Jaehwan had stopped crying but still letting out hiccups. Jin knew what this boy feeling. But even if he is God, his is not meant to help by getting involved. He can just show the path but nothing more.

"You have to wait Jaehwanie. Soon I will send someone for you. Someone you can call your own."

"Is it an Angel?", Jaehwan's eyes twinkled.

Jin smiled.

"Indeed."

After few Months:

"He's so beautiful...", Jin smiled down at the little baby who looked exactly like him.

A beautiful shade of the moon.

He was standing in the cave in front of his lover. Namjoon. It was full moon night. Also the birthday of of their pup. 'Jimin', they decided on the name. 

Both of them looked at their newborn pup to their heart's content because they knew it won't be long before they would have to part their ways. Even though it hurt, it was for the best.

"I found him by the river. There was no one around when I found him. So I thought of bringing him here first. What should I do, his Holiness?"

Jin looked at the Alpha named Jinki who held the small bundle of giggles in his arms very carefully. The pup had his ocean blue eyes stuck at Jin who looked back at the pup with his own deep blue orbs.

He briefly remembered when he himself took the little pup to the river and left him there as if he knew that this Alpha, Jinki, would come there eventually and will find the pup. So he was relaxed looking at the pup.

Jinki was the village chief himself. When he found the newborn pup, he immediately called his attendant to find if anyone was missing their child. But there was no one. And he knew that currently no one in their village was close to parturition. So this was maybe someone from outside the village.

He pitied the pup. How can someone be that cruel to leave the newborn pup like that. And that too, such a beautiful pup. Jinki was certain, this pup was going to be an Omega one day. And that too the most beautiful one.

He decided that the only right thing to do at that time was to take the pup to the Holy Devotee, Seokjin. He knew he should take the pup to royal court so the king would decide what to do. But that thought just scared him to death.

So here he was.

"What to do, his Holiness?", Jinki asked once again to Jin who had small smile on his face as always.

"You have found this pup, Jinki. All the decision regarding him, will be yours. So tell what would you do?", Jin asked.

"I-I don't know, his Holiness. If his parents come back—"

"What is they don't ever?", Jin cut him.

"Then he better never know that I am not his real parent.", Jinki said firmly. And that brought a smile on Jin's face.

"Then you are his real parent, Jinki.", Jin smiled. Although he was a God, it still hurt to see his own pup with someone else's arms. Afterall a mother remains a mother. God or not.

Jinki smiled as he looked at the pup with adoration and loving eyes.

"His Holiness, I request you to name the pup.", Jinki handed the baby to Jin.

Jin slowly took the pup in his arms. The pup giggled looking at him, as he raised his tiny hand to Jin's face as if to console him from his silent grief. Jin's heart of a mother got content from such a small action. He smiled.

"This pup will be the fortune of Busan. He will be the reason Busan would see happiness again. He shall rule the world alongside his mate. His wisdom would reach higher than the sky. I name him,

Jimin."
