'Nothing aids me'

When Jimin returned it already had been the time of dusk. But what can he do. The business he had visited the town for was more important.

When he told town people that they should use the well in forest they were not really sure. Not that they didn't believe Jimin. It's just that they feared Night Wolves Alpha too much and never wanted to cross his path even by mistake. So Jimin had to convince them that he had made a deal and he won't harm any wolf of Busan, some of then agreed and supported.

He was happy that he could help his people. It was the first time he had helped someone and that feeling of content was so great. He almost had that bounce in his step.

When he entered his chamber, he was hit with the heavy scent of musk in his face, reminding that he wasn't really used to this scent nor that he wanted to get used to this. Even if it was his Alpha spouse.

Lisa was sitting on a chair lazily looking at the door, ultimately towards Jimin. Her face held that usual cold but cruel expressions.

"Where were you?"

Jimin halted at the doorstep looking at her. He didn't know how to react. Originally he didn't remember telling her he was going somewhere. But then again, why should he tell everytime he goes outside?

"I asked you something.", She stood up, looking flawless as usual in her deep green royal robes. Jimin had never acknowledged, but Lisa really was beautiful. Visually, she had all those qualities an Omega would want in their partner. Beautiful and domineering. But never knew why he never saw her like that or why that thought was so difficult for him to consume.

"I had visited the town.", Jimin admitted quietly.

"Whom did you ask?", She asked in grave voice as she came over towards Jimin in slow strides just like a lion hunting his prey.

"No one. But I thought there's no need. I was just visiting town regarding the water issue—"

"You thought??", Lisa let out a mocking snarl. Almost like she was insulting him.
"When even did that become a thing? And water issue? Who do you think you are and why am I here for? Am I wearing this crown so that my Omega should go around and meddle in Kingdom's affairs??", Her voice was raising with sentence making Jimin wanting to squirm but also fight back badly. He tried to control his emotions. But Lisa glaring in his soul waiting for his submission.

"Alpha Lisa, I didn't think it was that important to ask just for a visitation.", Jimin decided to fight back. And that made a bad effect because in a second Lisa caught Jimin by his neck.

"What did you say? You have been living in a palace all your freaking life AND on MY CONDITIONS!! You never ever retorted back then... So what changed now!!??", She yelled at his face. It was not to mention that her Musk scent was becoming overbearing like always. But this it didn't make him much nauseous like always. It was pretty better this time. Guess, he was becoming used to it. So now he had his full focus on her.

Although her windpipe was getting constricted, his brain was fully active. His Omega was thrashing inside to kick her guts. But he leveled his staggering breath with difficulty to meet Lisa's eyes without wavering.

"Because I am a Luna now."

Lisa's eyes widened when he answered back. Her grip unconsciously loosened and Jimin took it as his victory.

"What did you say?", She asked in a threatening voice.

"I'm not just a simple Omega now. I am Busan's Luna who have responsibilities which I cannot ignore. They are my duties towards my Kingdom.", Jimin simply but said with a firm voice making Lisa's rage highten up to the roof.

She slammed Jimin on his bed and Jimin squeaked in surprise. He quickly gathered himself and turned his back on her to crawl away from her predatory hold. But she grabbed his ankle and pulled him. Before he could turn and push her, she was already settling all of her weight on him. Her breath quickened and she started huffing.

"WHERE IS YOUR ANKLET!!!??", She screamed. And Jimin froze.

Until now he was living relaxed as she never had paid attention to his legs. And by now he even had forgotten about that anklet. His body broke in a cold sweat as he  thought that along the way he completely had forgotten his purpose as to why he was even meeting Jae-hwan in the first place...

"I ASKED WHERE IS YOUR DAMN BETROTHAL ANKLET!??", She pressed more almost started to suffocating him. He was feeling every inch of her body even through the robes and that thought was pure sickening.

"YOU DARE LOOSE IT WHEN YOU WERE WHORING AROUND!?? I was going to forgive you for sleeping with someone else. But whores like you never settle on one... And now proved it by loosing your BETROTHAL ANKLET!! Do you even know what that means!?? IT MEANS YOU BITCH WAS PREPARING TO LEAVE ME. AND THAT'S WHY YOU REMOVED THAT ANKLET, DIDN'T YOU WENCH!!!!!", Lisa was screaming like a mad woman. Jimin couldn't even speak up this time. Her scent becoming bitter and clogging up his nostrils in the worst way possible.

Yes, it was his fault that he lost the most important thing for a married Omega. And on top of that he even forgot about it... His mind was becoming blank when he decided that it was the end for him.m but suddenly he felt the weight removed from him. More like Lisa stood up.

"You should know your place. And I will show it to you... Just wait.", She simply uttered and dashed out of the room still raging in anger.

"What is she even trying to do Jinyoung?", The Old King said in frustration as his question remained unanswered. Jinyoung just stood with his head bowed down.

"Why did she removed everyone from the court? Is she out of her mind?? Does she even know what that can cost? They all are elites and experienced people working for years in this court? What if they retort? We already have many incidents to face with!! Did she even think what is she gonna do about that barrage issue? People will start to break in havoc soon....", He rubbed his forehead as his body was slumped into his seat all tired of the situation.

"Water issue of the city has been solved for now... It had been asked to open the gates of forest for civilians so that would get water from the old well behind shrine.", Jinyoung quietly said as the Old King's eyes widened at the information. He sat up straight.

"But the that rogue alpha..."

"He won't bother. A personal deal was made."

"And he listened to Lisa?", He asked surprised. He knew that Jeon Jungkook had been engaging with Nosan to bring Busan on their knees. He wasn't going to stop until he fulfills his purpose. But he never knew that Lisa would manage to change his mind even slightly. It was a great achievement that he got ready to make a deal.

"It wasn't the highness. It was Luna who made the deal.

"WHAT!??"

"And your highness ordered to send messenger to Daegu sending an invitation for the King?"

"What is happening Jinyoung?"

"—their courtiers have been removed from their positions."

Jungkook chuckled at the information as he eyed the beta standing their laughing along with him.

"Good job Soobin. Let's see what are they going to do next...", Soobin bowed at took his leave leaving the Alpha alone.

Jungkook pushed himself out of his seat where he was sitting on rugs on outside on the grounds. He started walking away from the pack grounds.

In no time he was at the riverside.

All the black sky had descended in the calm waters with distorted image of the moon giving it a gloomy look. Maybe it was his mood which was gloomy.

He didn't know why he was suddenly feeling like this. He should be happy giving the conditions he had created against Lisa. He looked at the horizon of the wide bank of river, suddenly his mind going back...

He was running. His chest was aching because of exhaustion of running and his clothes drenched fully because he just had crossed the river by swimming against the deadly current of river flow without even caring for drowning in it.

He came out of the river huffing for breath. His chest burning feeling spices feeling up his lungs due to water that went in nostrils.

He stood up, he needed to leave.

Before he could step ahead, he heard sobs. Painful sobs that reminded him not to forget. He looked back.

On the other side of the river stood a frame of a little boy whose chubby cheeks had gone bright pink from crying. Snot flowing down and yet he looked so adorable. He was standing in knee length water and Jae-hwan was scared that he was going to follow him.

Waters are dangerous.

So before he could he yelled at the boy.

"Go back Jimin-ah. I will come back!!"

The little boy let out a sob, "I'm not going anywhere. I will wait for you here when you come back..."

"You said you would wait..."
