Aurora sat at her desk, her computer setup in front of her as she started her stream. She was beyond tired, but she promised her viewers she'd stream if she hit her goal on twitter. At this point, she was way beyond that goal so she couldn't not stream for them. Besides, she loved playing among us and what she loved even more than that was talking to her viewers.

As more people began to join the stream, Rory could feel herself getting nervous. She always felt like that when she streamed because of the amount of people that were watching her at one time. She was just worried she'd say or do something stupid, but she tried her hardest not to think about that.

"Hi guys!" Aurora said, giving a small wave to the people watching. She wasn't actually planning on playing with anyone in particular, so she wasn't sure how well the stream was going to go. "Uhh, I don't actually have anyone to play with so maybe I'll just join some random games," Rory shrugged, watching as the viewer count kept rising higher and higher.

Rory leaned forward in her chair, getting a better view of the chat so she could read what they were saying. She noticed one comment saying she should play with Talia again. Rory had been friends with Talia for a few years and both of their fans loved when they'd play together.

     At seeing the familiar name, Rory remembered the comment Talia had left on her instagram post. She picked up her phone and looked for Talia's contact. "That's actually a good shout. I'm gonna see if Talia has space for me to join," Rory said to her stream as she quickly wrote a text to Talia.

     "Should we get one more?" Poki asked after one of their friends had just left the game. There was now nine of them and usually after someone left, they would try to fill the space.

"Uhh, I could try and ask someone," Rae said as she began to search her contacts for someone she could ask, but she soon stopped looking as Talia spoke.

"Rory's available," Talia said, noticing the text from her friend. She quickly replied, letting her know that they had a space free if she wanted to join.

Both Poki and Rae let out a small squeal of excitement over the idea. They had been trying to play with Rory for a while now and had even made plans a few time, but each time it had fallen through. They had never actually played together, but they did interact a lot online. "Yes! Get Rory!" Poki exclaimed.

Rory looked at the message from Talia and a smile grew on her face at seeing the invitation. She had no idea who Talia was playing with, but she just assumed it'd be Simon and the others that she usually played with. "Guys, I'm gonna play with Talia," Rory informed her stream as she loaded up her discord so she could talk to the others.

Talia quickly sent Rory the links and code for the game. Rory joined the discord group and could hear a few different voices talking that she kind of recognised. "Hi," Rory said, gaining everyone's attention. She continued to set up her game. Her display name was already set to RoryTheRacingCar so she just entered the code and joined the lobby.

The call erupted with noise as everyone tried talking at once. Rory recognised most of the names, but some of them she wasn't too familiar with. "When you said Rory was joining the game, I don't know why, but I was expecting to hear a guys voice," Sykkuno spoke up once it went slightly quieter.

Rory laughed at the comment as she was used to getting it. When some people saw the name Rory, they just assumed she was a guy if they didn't know who she was. They didn't know that Rory was just short for Aurora. It wasn't a big deal to her and it was actually a benefit when she played with strangers online because if they knew she was a girl, they'd tend to kick her for no reason other than that. That's what you get when you allow twelve year old boys to play video games.

     "I'm so glad we finally get to play with you Rory!" Poki said in an excited tone. "My chat is going crazy right now."

     "I know! I'm very excited, but I will warn you all ahead of time that I am probably the worst imposter in existence," Rory stated, giggling as she heard Talia burst out laughing.

     "That is true," Talia commented. "Are we all ready?" She then asked, seeing if everyone was ready to start the game. Rory opened her mouth to reply but was cut off as a very deep voice answered.

     "Yeah," The voice said, making Rory widen her eyes and her mouth fall open. Her eyes flicked over to her chat that was blowing up with people laughing and talking about her reaction.

     "Woah, who was that?" Rory asked. She could hear the others laughing.

     "That was Corpse," Rae said in between laughs. It seemed it was a common thing when new people started playing with Corpse for them to comment on his voice being so deep.

     "That's so fucking cool," Rory replied, her eyes still wide as she tried to read the chat on the screen beside her. "I felt that in my bones."

     Rory heard a deep laugh which she assumed came from Corpse. She felt quite relieved that he laughed at her comment because as she said it, she immediately regretted it. She had only just met the guy and she didn't want to offended him or annoy him as she figured he got comments about his voice a lot.

     The countdown for the game to start appeared on Rory's screen so she pressed mute on her mic. "I can see why you guys are talking about him non-stop in my comments," Rory said to her stream. She'd often read the message from her viewers out loud so she could have a conversation with the people that tuned in. However, she had to turn off the chat briefly as the word crewmate appeared on her screen. "I'll talk to you guys in a bit," Rory said, focusing her attention back on the game.

     The round started and Rory let out a groan as she realised they were playing on a different map. She hadn't played it before and she knew she'd get voted out straight away because she wouldn't be able to back herself up. "I hate this already," Rory laughed, shaking her head as she started running around the map to find her tasks. She had no idea where she was going, but she was trying her hardest to figure it out.

Just as Rory made it to her first task, an announcement came up on screen signalling that a body had been reported. Everyone quickly turned their mics on as they saw Ludwig had been killed. "Okay, was anyone on cams? Because the body was directly in view of a camera," 5up said after reporting the body.

"Yeah, I was," Poki announced.

"Wait, before we go any further, I just wanna say that Rory was bare sus that round," Talia stated to the group which caused a few people to agree.

"Woah, woah, woah. It's not me, okay? I've never played this map before and I have no idea where I'm going," Rory defended. She knew someone would say that so it didn't surprise her too much.

"I'm sorry Rory, but I did see on cams near where the body was found," Poki said, feeling bad for calling her out like that.

"That's kinda sus," Toast said.

"I'm down to shoot," Talia added.

"What? No, no, no," Rory repeated as everyone else cast their vote. "Wow, at least Corpse had my back," Rory said, noticing everyone had voted for her except for Corpse who had skipped.

"Sorry, Rory," Sykkuno said softly as Rory was ejected from the game.

Rory looked over at her stream and pulled the chat up to see what everyone was saying. She read through the comments, seeing a few mean things that she just tried to ignore. "Yeah, I should've stuck with someone that round. I'll definitely do that next time," Rory said, nodding her head.

Rory moved around the game as a ghost, trying to do her tasks this time, while reading the chat. She noticed a lot of people talking about Corpse. "Corpse is a good imposter? Okay, I'll keep that in mind," Rory said, reading the message out loud. "It's gonna be hard not to believe him with that voice though," She added, laughing to herself.

As she moved her ghost around the screen, Rory didn't realise she had accidentally unmuted herself on discord. She looked over at her chat and read the first comment she saw out loud. "I wonder what Corpse's voice sounds like in the bedroom," Rory said, giggling at the persons comment.

"Uh, Rory, you're unmuted," Talia said. Rory could practically hear the smile in Talia's voice which made her heart drop as she noticed she was, in fact, unmuted.

"Oh, shi—" Rory exclaimed, her statement being cut off as she scrambled to mute herself. Her hands flew up to her face as she cupped her cheeks that were heating up rapidly. "I can't believe I actually just said that. I thought I was muted. Fuck. Now everyone thinks I was wondering how Corpse's voice sounds in the bedroom," Rory whined as she slumped down in her chair, just barely visible on her stream.

     The chat was blowing up with people joking about what had happened and how they were now shipping the two together. Rory wanted nothing more than to just leave the game and the call and hide forever. She couldn't believe she had just said that out loud to the guy's face.

     Rory finally sat up in her chair, looking at her stream in disbelief. She started laughing as she read how everyone was reacting to it. "That's on you guys. I'm blaming you for that," Rory said, pointing at her camera so everyone watching could know who she meant.

     Before Rory could continue playing as a ghost, a message popped up once again as someone had called an emergency meeting. "Okay, so I called this meeting for two reasons," Poki began after calling the meeting. "First of all, I wanted to see if anyone was dead, which they aren't so we can skip after this. And second of all, is Rory okay?" Poki finished, trying to stifle her laughter.

     "Look guys, I know I'm dead, but I need to clear this up real quick," Rory announced as she turned on her mic. She couldn't not explain what had just happened because they definitely got the wrong idea of it. "Okay, just so you all know, that was not what I was thinking. I was reading the chat out loud, okay? It's the viewers that think like that, not me."

     "Sure, nice try, Rory," Talia laughed. Rory assumed she believed her, but was just trying to wind her up and embarrass her even more.

     "It's true!"

     "Then why did you unmute?"

     "It was an accident, I swear!" Rory defended, but it only made everyone laugh even more.

     "Okay, well you're dead, so you gotta go," Rae said as she voted to skip, soon followed by everyone else who also skipped.

     Before the next round started, Rory spoke before making sure was definitely muted. "I am so sorry, Corpse," She quickly said.

     It was quiet as everyone had already muted, but a deep giggle filled Rory's ears. "It's fine," Corpse said before muting himself as well.
