Jongkook's side of story

Getting out of the car, Jongkook picked up his bag which was kept beside him and started walking towards the racing track.

The other six followed Jongkook as they too walked out of the car and headed towards the racing track; the place that would soon become a portal which would connect the two universe's together.

Standing beside the railings of the track, Jongkook turned around and looked at the six guys who were walking towards him.

With blurry eyes, he gave a smile as he wiped his tears away, an action which was now done by him for the umpteenth time.

Walking towards him, Jimin gave him a big comforting hug and rubbed his back so as to console him. Breaking from the hug, Jimin gave a small smile as he looked at him.

A rush of mixed emotions formed within Jongkook as they now started becoming visible through his facial expressions. Returning the smile, Jongkook gave a sigh as he looked at each of the guys who were now standing beside him. "Hyung's, I am going to miss you a lot." He spoke with a broken voice as tears once again made their way in his eyes.

Rubbing his back as an action of comfort, Jin looked at Jongkook with a smile on his face. "We too are going to miss you Jongkook. This journey was wild, from coming to know about a parallel universe to discovering about a comet which balanced both of them. There were many problems faced and numerous mysteries solved, and we all are glad that we were able to be with you through all this."

Nodding his head, Suga gave a soft smile as he kept his hand on Jongkook's shoulder. "Take care Jongkook." Were the only words he said to which Jongkook gave a smile and looked up at the sky.

It was a clear night with no stars and neither was the moon shining brightly.

A gentle wind blew as Jongkook looked at the time in his watch and then back at the six people who stood in front him. "Though the time for me to return back to my universe is approaching, I promise that I will never forget the memories I made with you all. Thank you for helping and believing in me." He whispered with gratitude as all the members of BTS looked at each other with a warm expression.

Silence took over the atmosphere but was soon broken when Namjoon, who has been extremely quiet for the past few minutes, spoke up. "Jongkook, I too will miss you a lot but I have a question that keeps worrying me."

With furrowed eyebrows, Jongkook nodded as he at once became attentive. "What is it?"

Walking towards him, Namjoon thought for a bit and then replied, "Jongkook, the switch is soon going to take place and during that time, the two places where you and Jungkook had crashed will open up and act as a portal which would once again connect the two universes. But for those places to act as a portal, you need to be near that location right?"

"Yes hyung."

"So...what if, Jungkook is not in or even near that tunnel when the portal opens? What if, you are sent back to your universe but Jungkook does not return to this universe?"

Hearing this question, everyone fell silent as they thought about the question which was asked by Namjoon. What would happen if Jungkook decided to not return? If Jungkook would not be present near the tunnel during the right time, then could this harm Jongkook who would be returning back to his universe? If Jungkook did not return could this cause an imbalance between the two universes?

A disturbing question which only time could answer...

Jungkook's side of story

Time: 10:30

Removing her black mask and keeping it aside, she looked at the front view mirror of her car to see an unconscious Y/n, whose hands were tied and mouth covered, lying at the back seat.

She continued driving and soon reached the place she was headed for. Taking her phone out of the pocket of her jeans, she saw a notification which was sent from NASA, informing about a comet which would soon be passing near Earth.

"Bingo!" She muttered as a smirk made its way on her face. "Just a few more things left to do and soon my plan would succeed."

Opening the contacts in her phone, she pressed on a contact number named "Jungkook" as she then pressed on the call option and waited for the call to be answered.

Running a hand through his hair, Jungkook could not help but get nervous at the thought that the comet was returning, and that even after just one and a half hour.

But this was not the only thought which troubled Jungkook...

Getting up, he looked at the time and then at Namjoon with worry clearly written on his face. "Hyung, it's 10:30 and Y/n has not yet come. And worst of all, she is not even picking up her phone. What do we do? What if something has happened to her? How can we help her?"

Panick laced the words which Jungkook had just spoken. And Jungkook was not the only one who was worried, this thought worried Namjoon too.

Pacing across the hall and then back, Jungkook walked back and forth as he tried to think of places where he and Namjoon could go and search for Y/n. It seemed to be a really strange happening that Y/n was not picking up her phone and neither had he heard from her for the past two hours.

"Y/n, where are you?" Was the thought that kept coming in his mind.

Suddenly, a ringing sound interrupted the tense atmosphere of the room as Namjoon immediately got up from the couch and picked up Jungkook's phone. A confused expression formed on his face as he then handed the phone to Jungkook. "Who is this unknown person?" He asked to which Jungkook shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know. Probably some hacker or a sasang fan, I'll just cut the call." He answered as he was about to decline the call when Namjoon held his hand, preventing him from doing so.

"Don't!" Namjoon muttered as a mysterious glint flashed in his eye. "I have a feeling that this call may be for an important reason. Answer it Jungkook."

"But-"

Raising an eyebrow, Namjoon folded his arms as he motioned Jungkook to answer the call. Seeing Namjoon's reaction, Jungkook gave a sigh as he swiped the screen of his phone and answered it.

ON CALL

"Hello?" Jungkook whispered with an unsure voice as he waited for a reply.

"Hello...Mr Jungkook."

Hearing this reply, Jungkook's eyes immediately widened as the thought struck him. "How does this unknown person know that my name is Jungkook? Doesn't everyone in this universe (except Y/n and Namjoon and some others) call my name as Jongkook?"

Jungkook: May I know who you are?

A chuckle was heard from the other side of the call. "Ohh, you very well know who I am Jungkook. But, I guess you might have forgotten me for the time being."

With furrowed eyebrows Jungkook noticed Namjoon from the corner of his eye, giving him a questioning look.

Jungkook: Can you please get straight to the point? Who are you and why have you called me?

His question was answered by silence for a few minutes after which came the reply, "Do you want to see you girlfriend?"

"Huh?"

"You choose, would you like to see your girlfriend dead or alive?"

Jungkook's eyes immediately widened as he got up from the chair he was sitting at, causing Namjoon to flinch in surprise. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?" He shouted as anger slowly started building inside him.

The person, whose voice resembled that of a girl's which Jungkook had a faint memory of, gave a chuckle as she replied, "Meet me at Seoul's **** tunnel within half an hour. Come quickly, you wouldn't want me to hurt your girlfriend would you?"

"How do I believe you? How do I know that this is not some kind of sick scam?" Jungkook asked as he looked at the time.

11pm

Some strange noises started coming from the unknown caller's side as that person suddenly hit something causing a third person to shriek.

Jungkook's eyes immediately widened as he recognised the third persons voice. "Y/n!" He shouted with worry as he immediately headed towards the main door of his house. "Listen you sick weirdo, I am coming at the place you have asked me to arrive at, but you better not harm Y/n. You wouldn't want to face it's consequences." He warned.

"Sure. Come quickly, your love is waiting." The girl replied in a mocking tone as she then cut the call.

Quickly keeping his phone inside the pocket of his jeans, Jungkook was about to walk out of his house when Namjoon quickly held his hand, preventing him from going away. 

"What happened?" He asked with confusion as he looked at the nervous and desperate looking Jungkook. 

"Hyung, Y/n...has been kidnapped."

"What!?" Namjoon exclaimed in shock as he staggered back a few steps but then quickly regained his posture. "So the person who called you..."

"She is the kidnapper. She called me, telling me that if I wanted Y/n to be safe then I had to come to the **** tunnel within half an hour." Jungkook completed.

"But Jungkook, isn't that the same tunnel where you had crashed in the other universe? It's already 11pm. By the time you reach, it would be 11:30, just half an hour left for the comet to arrive. If you go near that tunnel, and you are not able to return at the right time then you might be taken back to the other universe by the comet." Namjoon exclaimed with an urgent voice.

"So what? What am I supposed to do? Y/n has been kidnapped and you expect me to sit here and do nothing!?" Jungkook replied as he bit his lower lip with frustration.

Giving a sigh, Namjoon shook his head in disagreement. "No, that's not what I mean. I just want you to be safe." He replied to which Jungkook's expressions softened a bit, leading him to give a small smile.

"I know hyung. I am just really worried for Y/n's safety. If something happens to her then I would never be able to forgive myself." He replied as he freed his arm from Namjoon's grip and opened the main door of his house. "I promise, I'll get out of that place with Y/n in the nick of time."

And with that, he walked out of his house and headed towards his car.

Meanwhile, Namjoon stood at the entrance of the house as he saw Jungkook walk away. Giving a sigh he put his hand in his pocket and took out his phone. Scrolling through his contacts he opened a particular contact and pressed the call option. "Police officer Taehyung, it's me, Detective Namjoon. I want you to bring your police force to **** tunnel as quickly as you can."

Placing the car at the centre of the tunnel, she walked out of it and looked at the time. "Jeon Jungkook, where are you? Time is ticking. Either you come and let my plan succeed or I kill Y/n. I hope you choose wisely." She muttered to herself as a smirk formed on her face.

"The comet will soon arrive, just a few more minutes and BAM! Events will repeat themselves once again!"

Just then, a groan was heard as the girl turned around, only to see Y/n attaining consciousness and getting up. Giving a chuckle, she walked towards the car and opened its door. "Hello sleeping beauty. I hope you had a good sleep." She muttered as Y/n slowly opened her eyes, letting them adjust to the dim lighting of the car.

Immediately flinching from shock, Y/n stumbled back as she struggled to open her arms and set them free from the ropes that they were tied with.

Catching hold of Y/n before she could do anything, the girl made her sit properly and untied the cloth which covered Y/n's mouth.

"WHO ARE YOU!? WHERE AM I!?" Y/n screamed in anger as she tried to get out of the car and run away.

Gripping Y/n's arm tightly, the girl kept her finger on Y/n's lips, causing her to fall silent.

"Good girl." She muttered as she slowly backed away.

Y/n stared at the girl for a few seconds, studying her attire and then her facial features. And soon her gaze fell on the girl's eyes, causing her to gasp. "You...are the person I saw at the restaurant just day before yesterday. Right?"

"Yes, I am." The girl replied, her face still half covered by the black mask she was wearing.

"Why have you kidnapped me and where am I? But above all, who are you and what do you want!?"

"Do you really wanna know who I am?" The girl asked as she raised an eyebrow, to which Y/n nodded her head. 

She, namely this mysterious girl, brought her hand near the mask she was wearing and slowly took it down, revealing her face underneath.

Y/n's eyes widened with shock as she saw the face of the girl. "Jungkook's sasang fan?" She whispered to herself as the girl now completely removed her mask and kept it aside.

A smirk formed on her face as she saw Y/n's reaction. Giving a chuckle she then asked, "Do you recognise me now?"

"...Mi Ra?"

Hello!

While writing this chapter, the thought struck me that I had not introduced the Taehyung of the other universe (the universe in which Jungkook is currently in). So, I gave the role of a police officer to Taehyung.

Here are the roles of each of the members of BTS in the parallel universe:

Namjoon: Detective 

Jin: Business man

Yoongi: A manager who takes care of stage's on which artists perform.

J-hope: Doctor 

Jimin: Professional racer

Taehyung: Police officer

Jongkook: Solo artist
