Jongkook's Side Of Story

"A one and a two and a one, two, three. Lets go!"

The sound of the music echoed in the room as the seven boys danced to its beats, each putting in a great amount of effort to synchronize with each other and practice well.

And this was no different of a case with Jongkook. Quickly wiping away the sweat which was going to roll down his forehead, he gracefully moved, keeping in mind all the steps and their timings.

Mysterious footsteps, find them and follow. Cornered are my shadows, hidden behind my light~

And the song stopped playing as all them collapsed on the ground. 

A few minutes of silence followed which were only filled with the noises of heavy breathing. Slowly, got up the sunshine of the group as he turned and looked at all of them.

"Great job guys. If we keep working hard and practicing like how we are doing right now, then surely this will pay off during the performance of the upcoming MAMA Award." He cheered as he went towards Jongkook and stretched his hand forward.

Getting up with his help, Jongkook dusted his clothes. "Thank you Hobi hyung." He replied as he gave a smile and looked at the rest of the members who started getting up and coming towards them.

"Hey hyung, its been five continuous hours since we have been practicing. Can we please get a break now?" Asked Jimin in a hopeful voice as the rest of the members along with Jongkook nodded their head in agreement.

Giving a chuckle J-hope ruffled Jimin's hair with love. "Sure! We all have worked really hard and now deserve a good break." 

Sighs of relief followed by a round of laughter and bright smiles filled the atmosphere as all the members came out of the room one by one, talking to each other and discussing of what they were going to do. All except Jongkook.

Turning away and walking towards the corner he searched his bag and took out his phone.

He then looked around to make sure that no one was in the room. Opening an app he pressed the speaker button.

"Hi Levi. Any news about the comet of the two universe?"

"After doing some research I was able to find out that the comet of the two universe in some special cases might not always come only after 100 years. Sometimes this comet visits the universes and joins them twice in a century." Answered a robotic voice.

His eyes widened as he heard what 'it' said. What would happen if the comet came again with the purpose of joining the universes together? Would its arrival have an effect on him and Jungkook?

"If what you said happens, then what might happen to me?"

"The comet of the two universe has a strange way of working. Some people take it as a boon because it grants their wishes, but for others its more like a curse. Its said to be a kind of curse for some because once it grants, it takes back and changes everything after some amount of time."

"What do you mean Levi? It grants a wish then takes it back and changes it?"

The voice was about to answer when suddenly someone tapped Jongkook on the back.

"Jongkook?"

Jumping up with surprise Jongkook quickly closed his phone and looked at the man who stood behind him.

"Suga hyung?" Jongkook muttered in a surprised voice.

"I hope you don't mind me asking young lad but what were you doing? To whom were you talking to?"

Biting his lower lip in nervousness Jongkook's eyes wandered around while on the other hand his mind thinking of what to say. "Umm...I was just checking a particular app which I had downloaded on my phone. I was talking to no one but rather to myself." He replied as he took a deep breath to calm himself down.

Suga looked at him with a confused and questioning look. The air between them started to thicken with suspense ( for Suga ) and awkwardness ( for Jongkook ).

Suddenly Suga caught hold of Jongkook's hand and gave a small smile. "Chill bro. Why are you being so scared, its not like I am going to bite you. Common now, lets go outside, all the members must be waiting for us."

Nodding his head Jongkook followed behind.

"Cheers!" The glasses were clinked together as the seven boys drank its content, soju. 

"Aargh" Came a sound which made all the members, especially Jimin flinch from it.

Looking towards the direction from where the sound came Jimin gave a weird look to his older friend and brother. "J-hope hyung, you have a low tolerance for soju and also you don't like it. Why are you drinking it?"

Giving a pout J-hope looked at the youngster, "We all have worked hard and soon its result is going to pay off. I want to celebrate this by drinking at least one glass of soju with you all." He replied as he patted Jimin on the back.

Jin- Also, its been a while since we last ate a lavish meal together in our dorm.

The others nodded as they started talking to each other about random stuff which they could tell. 

"Hey Jongkook, do you know I made a cake for you with the help of Jin hyung?" Said Taehyung as he took a bite of the cooked steak.

"Really! Thank you hyung. But may I know why?" Asked Jongook as he leaned a bit forward, waiting for the answer.

A whistle was made by Namjoon as he gestured Jin and Taehyung to tell the answer. 

Rubbing his hands together, Jin lightly hit a glass with a spoon making a CLINK sound and cleared his throat. "Lend me your ears people." He said as he assumed the airs of a public speaker.

The members giggles as Taehyung pulled his ears and showed that he was attempting to give them to Jin.

"Well jokes aside. I was scrolling through my phone just a few minutes ago when a notification popped up and can you all guess what it said?"

"What did it say hyung?" Asked Jongkook with curiosity.

"It said that our dear maknae Jeon Jongkook's solo album which was released a few days ago has ranked number one on the billboard charts!" 

The members cheered as they congratulated the astounded Jongkook who could not believe what he just heard.

"Really?" He finally muttered out in disbelief. "You all are not playing a joke with me are you?"

"Of course not, why would we? Check your phone Jongkook, and you will see that this news is literally everywhere." Taehyung said in an assuring voice.

Wiping his hands with a tissue to clean them Jongkook took out his phone and scrolled through the daily news. 

JEON JUNGKOOK, THE MEMBER OF THE WELL KNOWN BOY BAND BTS HAS BECOME THE FIRST SINGER FROM A K-POP BAND TO SECURE NUMBER 1 ON THE BILLBOARD MUSIC CHARTS.

Jongkook's eyes started filling up with tears of happiness and gratitude as he read the article.

Keeping his phone on the table he took his sleeve and wiped away the tears. "I...am so happy." He paused a bit and then continued. "I am so happy that I don't even know what to say." 

The members smiled as they saw their youngest member's reaction.

Just then Jongkook's phone gave a small vibration, hinting that a notification came. But Jongkook did not notice it as he was busy wiping away his tears and thinking of what to say.

But this was not left unnoticed by Suga, who at that time was sitting right next to Jongkook. Peering down at the screen of Jongkook's phone Suga noticed the notification which had come from an unfamiliar app called 'Levi'. 

He was about to read what the notification said when the screen of the phone closed giving him the few seconds in which he was able to read the words, "Caution!", "Comet Of The Two Universe", "Return" and "Jongkook-Jungkook".

He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked up at the boy who sat next to him. There was something fishy going on and from the looks of it he knew that this was a matter that he should not overlook.

Authors Note: In this universe all the members of BTS call our main character 'Jongkook' because he persuaded them to do so. But other than the members of BTS everyone else still calls him 'Jungkook'.
